There are two takes on the Navara Warrior by Premcar - the entry-level SL, which has vinyl floors and feels like off-road heaven, and the higher-grade PRO-4X Warrior which adds more of the features you'll love, but isn't as rudimentary.
Both of these utes are built in Thailand and then rebuilt by Melbourne-based modification experts Premcar, where they see significant suspension changes and improvements to their off-road ability and capability as a result.
So, which is The Right Car? And is the price gap worth it to step up to the top model?

Good review. Walking that line between honest point of view and staying in the game. Appreciate it.
I like the fact that its ANCAP has expired, and none of those irritating chimes and warnings are there.
A good ute option.
Thanks mate.
Terrific review. You're an awesome reviewer.
Thanks very much!
I tried quite a few utes on the market before settling for the Pro4x. Cannot speak highly enough of it on and off roads. I also tow a lot and it delivers every time. The 7 speed transmission works so well.
Thanks for the feedback mate. Glad you’re happy! It’s a beast.
I find you are a pretty unbiased reviewer. Not as smitten with Euro and Korean cars as other Aussie channels
Thanks. Like all people I have things I like more than others, but my aim with this is to tell people what they should hear, and sometimes that might not be what they WANT to hear.
???????????????????😡😡😡😡😡😡🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🛻
SL Warrior is the pick
I’m waiting to see what Nissan comes up with and hopefully it’s different from the new Mitsubishi triton and has more power I was disappointed with the new Triton it’s still lagging behind the Ranger and Amarok.
Greater review and I liked the honesty, straight to the point not hiding things blowing gas up our "you know what " have the patrol 2004 4.2 thinking of a update. Pro 4 sounds good buy once should see me out in life terms. Sell rental buy 4x4 and caravan for around Oz.
Thanks for sharing
No worries!
Sl warrior is a great pick
Agree. Hardcore unit!
Nice review and really nice vehicles. This would be my 2nd choice to a Hilux Rogue though, being mindful that it wouldn’t be as comfortable on road as these two Nissans
Correct. HiLux isn’t as comfy in any situation!
I’ve got this exact grey Pro-4X Warrior with HSP Rolla cover. The Ute is an absolute weapon but the HSP roller cover is total garbage, gets full of dust and dirt and jams on a weekly basis. Is also a pain in the ass to open and clean. Get a UteMaster hard lid instead.
Agree mate, but all the roller shutters are grap. Got a ranger and mine leaks and dust always gets in.
Thanks for that feedback mate. Sorry to hear it.
The utemaster hardlids are also just expensive pieces of crap. I got one and the quality is rubbish, the finish is crap for the high price you pay. They leak as well.
Don’t bother, the dust gets into the tailgate too and jams the opening mechanism. Went through 3 tailgate locks at Nissan before I threw it all away and went for a tray
Pro-4x for me
Me too!
SL with LED headlights and a manual gearbox.
Would be ideal 🙏🙏🙏
I thought they will be updating the design of the dashboard. In other countries, nissan have placed the same dash as the terra.
New Sub
Thanks!
@@therightcar one day i will have one of those :)
If you love the nav warrior but aren’t gong to use it off road… would you make another suggestion?
You can still love it on road.
let down is the stickers, why so many stickers.. should be an option
You have to remember that the warrior models won't feel as powerful because of the bigger tyres
True. The rubber robs it a bit.
Adaptive cruise??
No adaptive cruise. 😩
All show no go
You are.
You can’t buy the SL on the Nissan website. Never have!
You have to go to the Premcar site
$70k ffs, i thought aussie was deep into a cost of living crisis…
Doesn’t stop businesses or private customers from buying these things!
Yeah for 30% of the population...that leaves a lot of people who are cashed up still!
$70k , ? not much on offer for that price .
MV Triton better choice than these.
Won’t go as far off-road straight of the showroom floor. But yep, it’s a very compelling choice.
inc offroad???? i dont think so
Check out Unsealed 4x4 or anyone else if you want hardcore - but I didn’t see any roads under that muddy shit
@@therightcar mate respect your work but even carexpert have better offroad test for vehicles
