Nvidia RTX 3070 Ready AMD Gaming PC Build Under $1000

Building the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ready Gaming PC Build On A Budget for under $1000. I wanted to spend as low as possible but with good, quality PC parts. It isn't the cheapest RTX 3070 build you could make but it is a very good one without overspending.
I had to select a CPU powerful enough so that it wouldn't bottleneck the 3070, so I've picked the AMD Ryzen 5 3600, a 6 core / 12 thread CPU which is great for gaming. Also, to be able to use the Nvidia RTX 3070 we need a PCI-E Gen 4.0 motherboard, so I went with the B500 a great value for money chipset. 3200Mhz is the best speed we could get for our money and performance with 2 x 8GB DDR4 RAM sticks, totaling 16GB of memory. Even though the MSI motherboard supports 1 PCI-E Gen v4.0 M.2 SSD I went with a Gen v3.0 because of the price difference. In the future, this will be an upgrade, when the prices will be less aggressive for a Gen4 M.2 SSD. Lastly, if not in a hurry, go directly with an Nvidia RTX 3070 instead of getting a graphics card right now. That will save you money and you will have an amazing gaming PC build.

hey dimi can u tell me the tower the 500d srgb is it just with 2 fans and the other 4 you have to buy seperately? does the 3pin or 4pin is needed?

You don't need to have pcie gen 4 motherboard for rtx 3000 series. Pcie 3 is totally fine and there won't be any performance difference. You can get pcie gen 4 for more future proof build but if you're on a tight budget and want to fit a new rtx 3000 card going pcie 3 is a great choice.

Perhaps you will get close to the same performance but gen 4.0 will get the 100% out of an rtx 3070. But if you really want to save the most out of it, yes I agree.

since this build was in a desperate need for a graphics card, I got a GTX 1660 until the 3070 comes out. Then I will sell the 1660 for a 3070!
