“Working a keypad” means taking MGRS coordinate from a JTAC?
For air players, an area will be divided into “Killboxes” which is a large area in a grid format. Each killbox can then be divided into a smaller grid format called a “keypad” because it’s templated out like a phone keypad with 1,2,3 in the top row, 4,5,6 in the middle, and 7,8,9 on the bottom. Getting assigned to Killbox 1, keypad 1,2,4,5 would be in the killbox and the 1,2,4, and 5 portions of the grid within that area.
