Good advice. I am also a professor and I was about to make a similar comment. I am at one of the most beautiful historical universities in the United States, and when the new students come in, or I see them walking on the grounds, I ask myself do these kids really know how lucky they are to be here? I did not go back to school until I was in my 30s. I’m glad that Max is going to go off and do something else. However I wish he just would not have gone to college. He’s already one hell of an editor, as well as being successful. So what was the point of University?

College is NOT for everyone. Your “college” or education has been and is the world, a far less restrictive environment. Kudos for giving it a try! No regrets. You will never wonder about it in the future because you gave it a shot. Continued success in your trailblazing life!!
Hey Max, if you ever read this... I'm a teacher in France and today I showed a video of yours to my students (the one about your first day in high school in 11th grade). I come back home and I find this video... wow. I'm so moved to see you now, a few years later, and... the contrast is huge. You seemed so enthusiast in high school. I hope you find your way. I really do. Love from France
The same enthusiam still lives within me - and is brought out more and more every day!! Feeling much more like myself these days (post-college). Appreicate the kind words (: Thank you for sharing my video with your class, I hope they found it interesting in some capacity!
I felt the same way, like there was something missing from college. Something was off... I was burntout with the first month of freshman year of college, I stuck it through until the end of the year, and then for sophomore year I went back tried it again... After sophomore year, I lost my scholarship due to my GPA... (Maybe this was my sign to leave) Once I lost my scholarship, I could not afford my university, so I transfer to a more affordable school, and I'm doing it all online from home. This is exactly what I need right now, to be home, live a slower life, reconnect with who I am because I felt lost for a little bit. The way they teach in school is not how I want to learn... Looking back, I felt like I had no truly deep connections with friends, I debated whether I should transfer or not, then feeling like I should be grateful about the fact that I get to go to school with a dining hall, and a safe environment, etc. Then, there were parts of school that I enjoyed, and I would say to myself well, "this is where I'm meant to be" Essentially trying to make it work... There were positives and negatives...so there was this constant back and forth in my head.... Now, for Junior year I switched to online school, everything is asynchronous, I'm still in school, however my classes are easier, I like my professors... they take things one step at a time, everything is broken down into smaller assignments (We get assignments for the week to complete by the end of the week) I get to maneveur my schedule around fun stuff that I want to do, less pressure, more freedom to do what I want... I create my own schedule, hobbies, etc. School doesn't control my life. I get to choose what I do everyday, then I just work in school in my schedule.... I work it around what I actually choose to do... I feel like I stopped "truly living" years ago.... (Doing those little things that create memories of a lifetime) I stopped dressing up for Halloween, I stopped decorated for holidays, enjoying all the seasonal activities: Examples: Dressing up for Halloween in the fall, pumpkin picking; Ice skating in the winter; horseback riding and flowerfields in the Spring, Carnivals & adventures in the summer... Somewhere along the way I stopped creating those bucket lists that you do as a kid... and I felt like I needed to get back to that... (I prioritized school over those things) I would say to myself: "I have homework to do", then I would procrastinate about doing that homework, end up not doing it that night, ended up doing it days later rushing to turn it in by 11:59... So after telling myself that I can't go out and do something fun... I would end up not doing any homework anyway... and this went on for years... I don't want to do that anymore. I don't want school to control my life. It's now just an aspect of my life. I still feel like I need a set routine, and should probably procrastinate less, however, I don't feel like I'm drowning in deadlines anymore.. I'm taking things day by day, trying different systems of organizing my life... I don't know where this path will lead me, but I'm walking it one step at a time...
This helped me a lot. I just finished my sophomore year in may and now I’m gonna transfer to an online university and complete my degree there. I’m definitely nervous but the school I went to never felt right in my heart. Reading your experience gave me comfort knowing I’m not the only one. Much love stranger :)
This is not unexpected considering your past videos in your school, you look and sound miserable. It's brave of you to take control of the situation and confront the problem. Most people will just ignore it and stay dejected finishing college.
@@sacagawea3524 which is the reason why he's miserable. He seems to enjoy the RUclips and the travelling. I know he's not an ordinary student and parents are well off. But that doesn't mean he has to surf thru college like a zombie.
As per usual, your video has found me at the perfect time. I’m a month into college and I’ve been struggling to step out of my comfort zone. I’ve found my friends and clubs to be a part of, but now that I’ve found my new comfort zone, I’ve found I’m no longer challenging myself. Your videos always serve as perfect inspiration and I can’t wait to take the messages you’ve shared in this video and run with it.
I have always felt like one of the great privileges of my life is to have school feel right for me. School *works* for me and I feel very lucky for that. It has *worked* to find me communities, fulfillment, joy. I will always be grateful that school has such a good process for me.
I felt similar to you at University, but I decided to finish it through. No regrets at all, but completely understand and respect your decision to leave. To make that decision is empowering and takes incredible introspection and courage. Keep being you and trust your instincts.
Max I dropped out after 2 years because of that very feeling. My career in building my own business was taking more of my time and energy, and I knew I needed to give it the attention it deserved or else I would regret it. It was hard to communicate, but it actually felt like the most obvious and clear decision that just had to be made if I wanted to grow. Dropping out shouldn't be glamorized but sometimes college can start getting in the way of the path you're meant to follow. A few years later and I still couldn't be happier about my decision. In the words of Niko B - "stop comparing me to this and that I'm a different gravy..."
i’m such a free spirit and i hate it i don’t want to go to college anymore but i feel like i need to. idk i hate listening to my brain on matters like college but it’s scary listening to my heart. don’t worry though max college will always be there that’s a complete guarantee. if anything goes wrong u can always go back.
Good luck on your next chapter in life Max! It is crazy how different my college experience is from yours, I'm a freshmen absolutely loving college. I'm glad you are moving in a direction that makes you happy, and fulfilled.
Finished my 4 years in June. Could take it or leave it. The pressure to attend higher ed and get a degree is immense these days. It’s a shame that middle education doesn’t showcase more of the opportunities that don’t require 4 years of your life and mountains of debt.
thank you so much for making this video, ive been struggling with college recently and i needed to hear this. sometimes you get so caught up in the motions of life, so this helps me understand its okay to slow down or take time off :) wishing you the best of luck!
the end really made me smile and cry at the same time which you have created incredible memories. Ive known you for 3 years and I think the Max I knew is back that made challenging decision.Youll make it, continou to surprise us with what you can. Much love
I think you're the next new thing in filmmaking, whether that's on RUclips or whatever canvas you choose. I also felt out of place in college (UNC-Chapel Hill, 1997) but that was in a different time. I am glad that I had several friends that I went to school with or I don't think I would have stayed either. College helped me personally see outside of the socioeconomic conditions I was raised within. I have my "degree" which looks good for employers but I don't think it will matter much for you because your portfolio on RUclips is enough for that. Looking back, Undergrad is almost 100% about the experience and if you're not getting the experience that suits you, it's time to move onto the next chapter, whether that's transfer or whatever. Good luck!
Really enjoyed your little chat at 11:30. it's very unsettling to feel uncomfortable in a space you're 'supposed' to enjoy. It's college, for many, it's your first step toward adulthood. As you said, you're surrounded by people your age and yadayadayada. It has been so ingrained into the youth that there's this plan for life, and college is a part of that. Dealing with not wanting that is hard. Your videos are always so beautiful, and I'm glad you're taking these steps for yourself. (Also, come check out the Washington coast if you ever get a chance. There's not a place in the world like it :] )
I’m at the final year of school in year 12. And I don’t feel “comfortable” like other people do and ig I felt uncomfortable knowing that. But that part of the video really resonated with me
Esse menino da um show de fotografia e sem falar na reflexão que ele sempre traz que é sensacional, eu saio dos vídeos no Max com uma leve crise existencial, mas sempre é esclarecedor. Simplesmente incrível
It was my first time watching your full over-30-minute-video without skipping it at all (I was running a treadmill). You have a power to have others immerse into your feeling. You are so talented in videomaking and I resonated with you. I am a 28 year old guy so I don't have that much life experience too. I was thinking about what I would do if I were you. With my honesty, I don't know if you will succeed with your decision of dropping out of college. But I do think that it is already better to run for your dream, even if it fails at the end. Cause if you don't even try it, only will you regret while you are wasting your time in college. Best of your luck. I am a fan of you :)
I feel like your sentence “ I don’t know if you will succeed in your decision of dropping out of college” was worded out incorrectly. I’d say success is different for everyone. Everyone has their own definition of success. Just because someone doesn’t pursue college doesn’t mean they are in the road of failure. Someone can still fail if they go to college. It’s vice versa .
@C0smicun1vers3 100%. You have to walk your own path, because walking someone else's path against your own instinct is the road to a miserable life, even if society tells you you'll fail trying (which society always will - but it's bs). Ignore them and follow your heart, because your heart knows something that will save your life. And often times, it's something no one else will be able to understand.
'To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else, means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.' - e e cummings... you're doing good Max, proud of you.
In 2021 I dropped out of uni, my dream since I was 10 years old was to be an architect, in Mexico the universities are different from what I have seen compared to US universities I only spent two semesters and I made the decision to leave, it was covid and all classes were on zoom and my mental health was very bad, I feared for my life. It was difficult for me to understand that that dream was not for me, now I am studying business administration and I feel more comfortable, I like what I study, although I still need to go to a psychologist HAHAHA I really need one. Sorry if my spelling is not the best English is my second language.
hey man, I wanted to be an architect as well growing up, but ever since I started college in fall 2022, I started to feel out of place and I ultimately transferred to a smaller college starting this fall. Right now, I am studying hvac and I'm planning to start a business later down the line. In the end, I am feeling a little better and taking those small steps a day at a time will help in the long run. Hope you doing well
@@okluminous566I studied architecture in bachelor but after I finished I realized that things I studied in University and things that I will work on in real life is very different , so I just moved to US to find myself, now I’m trying to shoot and act, so I think architecture sucks, and it’s too conservative and boring
kudos to you for taking a difficult decision that made sense to you. I look forward to see what is next for you in the new stage that you are about to start in your life.... wishing all the best and lots of happiness.
Max, your editing skills are freakin' sick. Take it from an old man, timing matters. We spend our days trying to force ourselves to take paths that aren't always right for us. The sooner we recognize the wrong timing the sooner we can learn from the experience and try something else. Wishing you the best!
From the beginning I saw it and new you weren't meant for college. Max, you were meant for so much more in such a positive way. As a going into college student, you have so much more than what is structured and meant for a college student. I feel you imagination and creativity is all shut in a box while in college, and is different from what I've seen it was meant for you, (if this makes sense)
Rest assured, I have experience as a RUclipsr and successfully navigated the challenges of college. It was indeed a demanding journey. I believe that it's important to recognize the value of taking breaks and not being afraid to pursue education part-time, even if it means just enrolling in one course. There were moments when I was eager to create content, yet I had to prioritize my studies, learning the importance of knowing when to set the camera aside. Moreover, I'll openly admit that there were times I contemplated dropping out as early as my sophomore year, but I persevered through an arduous six-year journey. Today, I proudly hold an engineering degree, and the sense of accomplishment is profound. To those who may be facing their own struggles, I want you to know that I empathize with your challenges, and I genuinely hope you find the strength to push through - because you can survive and thrive :)
the amount of work that goes into creating these beautiful and thoughtful videos is insane! Your channel is a masterpiece Max and you are a maestro in your craft👏🏻👏🏻
I went back to school in 2003 and got a law degree. First semester started in March and I turned 40 in April. Universities/Colleges will be there waiting for you, should you desire... Saw your conversation with Nathaniel Drew so I knew this was coming. Good luck. Follow your gut.
Max, I saw your entire video, and I'd like to say, whatever you do in life, do it freely, you're amazing, and you're smart enough to always do the right thing! Looking forward to your next episode series!
This is a very long comment, I apologise in advance but I thought I'd give you a different perspective of college I study aerospace engineering and physics at sydney uni.. I would say I didn't really meet MY people until the beginning of third year. The thing about college is that it is generally a mix of 18 year olds who haven't really had the opportunity to discover who they are yet. That first year of college is the first time they've had a chance to even consider 'meaningful connections' beyond a high school classroom. I felt so out of place in first year. Didn't like the parties, didn't like the drinking. By second year I was burnt out and upset as I was trying to join all these clubs and surround myself with almost too much opportunity. Then slowly I started doing the weekend trips to the beach, the sustainability conferences, the research projects, the late night ice cream, the conversations about society and our place in the world. There is no linear way to education (as you say at 21:32) . I have friends who have gone to 3 different colleges, changed majors, deferred a semester, done uni over the course of 8 years while working, decided to leave traditional academia. Ultimately your decision to leave is one I respect. However I wouldn't blame college (I know this isn't what you're doing). I would blame the structure of society that doesn't allow young people to experience what you have before their twenties. College isn't magical, it's bloody tough :,) The majority of people have stories akin to yours. Working part time jobs, groceries, cleaning, academics and so on. You don't tend to meet those people until later on in college as they weren't around in those first year circles. From the perspective of a uni student (in 4th year) who resonates with a lot of the emotions and views you share. Very excited to see where your life goes :))
Max im right with ya. I dropped out of college 4 days ago and already had a whole year under my belt. It was a gut feeling. I knew that what i was taking wasn't for me and i felt more like a prisoner than a student. We all have trial and errors but eventually we'll find our calling
I've only started watching your videos about a day ago and at this ...10:59 ... this part realy hit me personally. I'm going to be 20 years old at the end of 2023, i decided about a year ago that i was done with school to take a much needed break from education and I don't have friends. Being on the autism spectrum and making friends and socialising is hard, I mean I can socalise and can communicate well enough to hold a conversation however it sometimes is very difficult to even keep or make friends my age. I've never really clicked with people and even my teacher tell me at college I'd make friends but I just couldn't click with a single person during the summer or at open days. It got me beliveing for a while that i was the reason that nobody wants to be my friend. That and i had lost my passion for the subject I wanted study, which really messed with my meantal health for a while. (I've gotten better and regained my passion for my craft) im grateful to those who stuck with me in school, although they dont communicate with me anymore im grateful for the time and good memories they gave me. maybe i'll find my path in life, face my fears of commitment to friendships and relationships. To feel human, to live. Thank you max, you made me feel less lonely in this world today. Keep it up❤
totally understand that anxiety that comes with moments and trying to soak it all up. I think it's just the fear of knowing these moments come to an end and you will never be in that exact position again. it all ends and that's really scary. I don't have a resolution but I've noticed how I've become more aware over the years.
Hey Max! You're handling this in a beautiful way, this was such an amazing video log. I've also dropped out college 2 weeks back to be able to focus more on my passions and it felt like love-hate relationship. I'm happy and also uncertain at times. But ig I'm gaining the confidence as the days goes by. Also you're the first person I've seen to start with rap beats when you've to pee so bad haha.
I dropped out of college after three years and went on to have a great and successful life. Find your bliss and follow it. Besides, you already have the equivalent of a degree in social media. The best to you!
Max, don't be too doubtfull about yourself. Don't overthink, you made the best decision since it feels as the positive and most logic thing for you to do. No one else's path is similar to yours, so you do you. Make it a blast, don't look back too much!
Max I just saw this first video and subbed. I am as old as dirt and have worked literally with over 10,000 young guys in your age range. I totally support your decision and think for you it is totally correct. As you said "observe, think, and act." That is the pathway to a meaningful, fruitful, human life. Thanks Bro........Ray
You have a very free mind! You have experienced the world before getting into college which i think can be one of the factors that put your mind in a state that has rejected the constructs of the idea of college. I am sure all is well and you will be endeavoring exciting stuff for the future. Heck, maybe even now as you read this
Im so lucky that i met you in YTB this year, you really make me feel the meaning of life and the meaning of how should i live my life, big thanks max deeply
Good luck with your future endeavors. In your case, I'm sure you'll be fine without a college degree. With your business pursuits, you won't ever be a drone employee that will need a college degree to even get considered for a job interview. For self-motivated people, such as yourself, you can learn what you need to, without going to college.
Took me a while to tune into this ep since I wanted to have time to watch it all the way through. The editing in this one is fantastic, Max! Definitely taking some inspiration from how you choose to compile time and events.
Hello Max, I think It's the first time ever I comment a video on YTB ( english is not my native language btw). I really liked your video and I identified with it and felt extremely bad, but in a good way, strangely enough. I started college with a lot of dreams and expectations (you will have a degree/friend/gf etc...). After two years of efforts I felt lost and empty, I was dead and am still death inside. It was so hard to understand the situation because everyone thought that It was the best years of my life (lol) with the situation and did not understand my pain. I tried all the clubs, entertainments, made a lot of friend but I'm still suffering in silent and pushed hard for my parents. Now, I have almost finished and I don't know what to do with my life but I will have a degree (lol) :)) Thanks for your words A little lost boy
Hi little lost boy It's also my first time to comment sth on youtube A former lost/newly found individual is responding :) It's a cliche',but believe me time will fix that And once you find your people and place ,you'll stick to them and will never let go Btw stop thinking of you could've possibly done better or prevented this from happening . The feeling you have right now is a solid proof that you will somehow/someday find yourself

Your storytelling skills are immaculate and I feel lucky to follow your evolution through RUclips. Here's to what's to come (and I'm sure it'll be beautiful!) ❤️
The is so true in the sense of expression of what making decisions and really doing what you love to do . As a 17 year old as l am going to college next year l feel the same there are sense of doubt and second thoughts of how this decision might turn out l feel you express the thought of transition from one important phase of life to other might be optimistic but at the same time be painful to let go the beautiful memories and people you need to let go. I really love the video❤❤. Love yourself and do what you want in life.
I admire your courage Max. However it makes me wonder how many others are out there like you feeling the same thing, but don't have a safety net to fall back on...all the best Max!
Dropped out after a month into my program last year, took the gap year, thinking i would end up going back to school this year. During that time I thought i had some success in my graphic design work, but that ended up failing soon enough...spent 4-5 months just "wasting" my days away, trying to make something out of nothing with just the client or two, but to no avail. I applied to 3 schools, and during my applications, the email to my preferred school didn't go through in time, so i ended up not even going to school. I only just recently got my first actual job, its in the same area my college was but i feel like its a "redo" of some sort. Over this time i've spent thinking i was going back to school, i ended up realizing how much i wanted to discover, and go out of my comfort zone, and not be the person who was inside of that college classroom...its time to do the right thing. This job requires me to be someone who i never thought i was, talkative, outgoing, sporadic, it's just time to act like someone who i'm not but at the same time use it to make myself a better person. Ben your honestly an inspiration my guy, though we're the same age, your miles ahead of me, looking forward to see whats next for ya buddy!
So much respect for taking self-education as your path - one I took and have not regretted for a second. It is harder, but for every ounce of difficulty you get a pound of learning. Well worth it in my book. All the best man.

I feel less alone. thank you so much for sharing your unique perspective. im with you brother

Do what’s best for you Max. We support you no matter what
thank you!
This is not unexpected considering your past videos in your school, you look and sound miserable. It's brave of you to take control of the situation and confront the problem. Most people will just ignore it and stay dejected finishing college.
as he said he already has incomes , is not like tha avarage dude ; )
@@mhm2689 yup. most ppl in college are kind of miserable because of it but at the same time getting that degree will be worth it in the long run
yeah but most people arent social media influencers. they cant just afford to drop out
@@sacagawea3524 which is the reason why he's miserable.

Keep going!!
I have always felt like one of the great privileges of my life is to have school feel right for me. School *works* for me and I feel very lucky for that. It has *worked* to find me communities, fulfillment, joy. I will always be grateful that school has such a good process for me.
I'm so happy it connected with you!
what's insane is that I was just recommended your story about falling in love, and finished watching it a second ago. Your work is beautiful
I felt similar to you at University, but I decided to finish it through. No regrets at all, but completely understand and respect your decision to leave. To make that decision is empowering and takes incredible introspection and courage. Keep being you and trust your instincts.
The timing for this to come out when I've been so unmotivated, drained, and unhappy in my second year of college...and it's only the 4th week
We're all trying to succeed in every way possible. I'm catching up with my math class, struggling very much.
hey how you doing now?@@wallacerangel616
Max I dropped out after 2 years because of that very feeling. My career in building my own business was taking more of my time and energy, and I knew I needed to give it the attention it deserved or else I would regret it. It was hard to communicate, but it actually felt like the most obvious and clear decision that just had to be made if I wanted to grow. Dropping out shouldn't be glamorized but sometimes college can start getting in the way of the path you're meant to follow. A few years later and I still couldn't be happier about my decision. In the words of Niko B - "stop comparing me to this and that I'm a different gravy..."
Man quoted niko b
What university were you at?
Good luck bro , trust in yourself and you'll do it 🤍
Glad you followed what felt right! Love the Niko B quote, haha. What a legend
i’m such a free spirit and i hate it i don’t want to go to college anymore but i feel like i need to. idk i hate listening to my brain on matters like college but it’s scary listening to my heart. don’t worry though max college will always be there that’s a complete guarantee. if anything goes wrong u can always go back.
Good luck on your next chapter in life Max! It is crazy how different my college experience is from yours, I'm a freshmen absolutely loving college. I'm glad you are moving in a direction that makes you happy, and fulfilled.
Hell yeah! I'm happy for you - that's great to hear (:
Much love
Incredible Max, so honored to have been a part of this journey with you brother❤
Thank you, Elsa. Excited to see you in a few weeks! (:
@@MaxReisinger it's gonna be a blast. I can sense it.
Continue pursuing what feels right for you Max! I know that this decision is certainly a big step towards the right direction for you man👏
Yooo! Thanks for using my music! Also, good luck with your future!
the amount of work that goes into creating these beautiful and thoughtful videos is insane!
Good luck. Follow your gut.
and so it begins!!!
Max, I saw your entire video, and I'd like to say, whatever you do in life, do it freely, you're amazing, and you're smart enough to always do the right thing! Looking forward to your next episode series!
I totally understand how you feel. I'm a college dropout too and my life has never been better
This is a very long comment, I apologise in advance but I thought I'd give you a different perspective of college
I study aerospace engineering and physics at sydney uni..
Never stop inspiring Max! Excited to see everything you're going to accomplish in this next phase!
Thank you!!
Just follow your heart buddy , I know whatever your heart desires. You'll Gunna do just fine.. 👍
Thank you for sharing your life with us 🙏
I've only started watching your videos about a day ago and at this ...10:59 ... this part realy hit me personally.
(I've gotten better and regained my passion for my craft)
im grateful to those who stuck with me in school, although they dont communicate with me anymore im grateful for the time and good memories they gave me. maybe i'll find my path in life, face my fears of commitment to friendships and relationships.
Excess of emotion is the worst thing something can happen to a person. Don't get too much influenced by them .
Stay hard!!
19:33 this is true, thank you for sharing your realistic perspective Max
Hey Max! You're handling this in a beautiful way, this was such an amazing video log. I've also dropped out college 2 weeks back to be able to focus more on my passions and it felt like love-hate relationship. I'm happy and also uncertain at times. But ig I'm gaining the confidence as the days goes by. Also you're the first person I've seen to start with rap beats when you've to pee so bad haha.
bro your videos make me feel so much and I want to thank you for making that possible. I know you'll do great with whatever comes.
Awe babe you’re gonna do so well. First few minutes and I’m already emotional. I pray for you on your journey love 🫶🏽
I dropped out of college after three years and went on to have a great and successful life. Find your bliss and follow it. Besides, you already have the equivalent of a degree in social media. The best to you!
We aren‘t watching you because you do what everyone does - we are watching you to get inspired and motivated to live buried parts of us !
Max, don't be too doubtfull about yourself. Don't overthink, you made the best decision since it feels as the positive and most logic thing for you to do. No one else's path is similar to yours, so you do you. Make it a blast, don't look back too much!
You are SO brave. You are amazing no matter what you do. Just do it. I'm always in ur side :)

You're right sir , lm sure he is going to make it
Took me a while to tune into this ep since I wanted to have time to watch it all the way through. The editing in this one is fantastic, Max! Definitely taking some inspiration from how you choose to compile time and events.
Hello Max,
I think It's the first time ever I comment a video on YTB ( english is not my native language btw).
Now, I have almost finished and I don't know what to do with my life but I will have a degree (lol) :))
Thanks for your words
A little lost boy
Hi little lost boy
It's also my first time to comment sth on youtube
A former lost/newly found individual is responding :)
It's a cliche',but believe me time will fix that
And once you find your people and place ,you'll stick to them and will never let go
Btw stop thinking of you could've possibly done better or prevented this from happening .
The feeling you have right now is a solid proof that you will somehow/someday find yourself
This is a new step in your life max, i'm sure you gonna ace it just like every other time. CHEERS AND GOOD LUCK CHAMPP!!!

Life is overwhelmingly beautiful
I'm sure there are many! I'm in a very fortunate positon, no doubt about it.
Max do what you want and do what you have to do Good luck my friend 😊
this video made my day! i love the editing style 🤝
I always look forward to your film-style videos ❤
So much respect for taking self-education as your path - one I took and have not regretted for a second. It is harder, but for every ounce of difficulty you get a pound of learning. Well worth it in my book. All the best man.
this is one of your best editings Max, it feels like Mandelbro´s music is actually made for this film
I regret not following my feelings when I was 20. It is great you can make a decision like this.
i started college a few weeks ago, and having someone discuss the less than glamorous aspects has been such a relief for me. I feel that same bone deep intuition that this is not my long-term, not my destination.
having your honest and vulnerable videos to turn to has made me accept these feelings in such an important way. I feel less alone.
thank you so much for sharing your unique perspective. im with you brother

You can do school whenever, you decide your pace.
I didn’t want to do school this year because I wanted to travel and find the beauty in the new.

With all the struggles you’ve been through and sharing your life with the authenticity of your emotions makes me always stick to you- even across the world. Your storytelling is so pure that it’s moving, you make me glad I was born in this generation.
You have your whole life to explore. - Keep pushing

You'll be fine man. I wish you all the very best, whatever you do. Good luck. And i hope that you find success in life.
I remember the first time I walked to the college I was planning to attend when I was in high school, it felt wrong in my heart. Three years later I end up signing up for college again , this time I did attend. Well this past spring I quit. It felt so wrong in my heart. Since the beginning my heart knew college is not meant for me
Been watching you for years since I was in high school your decisions are yours and we support them
Your video gives an old school vibe man so awesome! These moments ahhh everything has to end someday but but good luck with your new journey dude.

Just Joined College and I could feel it on so many level, I'm blown away by the thoughts and the film!
Sometimes, chasing your life's purpose takes you on an unexpected journeys (or on unexpected paths while moving forward in your journey).
May your journey continue to go well.
I dropped out of uni 2 years in, I'm now 28 and a marketing manager. It's hard and I sacrifced a lot but I've never regretted not getting a degree. I lived a more interesting life than if I had done what I was 'supposed' to do. And I didn't have 671k followers on RUclips ;) You've got this. You'll never regret it. I promise.
As a person who relates a lot to your videos, this one hits especially hard. I was in first year last year and seeing how you were dealing with school was very similar to me. I am still in college, but I have only found motivation to stay due to my friends and a couple of opportunities that have arisen. You have been a massive inspiration for me and I hope you continue to find success within youtube or wherever life takes you man!
Thank you, Jack! Keep going, I hope things get better for you - cheers man, appreciate the kind words!
Really hard to continue at college when you have the world at your feet , good luck max , I hope the extra time allows more videos ❤
