15+ years ago, college used to be great. It taught people how to think independently. It taught critical facts in math, science, language, computers, and it also taught your specific STEM skill.
I like how this group was entirely calm and relaxed, they weren't aggressive with one another. It was really refreshing to hear a serious, investing conversation where they seemed to actually enjoy it.
I think it's because the topic is easier to handle, "Oh you went to college?Okay, Oh you didn't go to college? Okay". Not many people got out there showing off their degrees either.
You should see another Middle ground episode with sensitive topics. Try watching the Israeli-Palestinian episode or the Trump Supporter-Immigrant. Situation was heated and tense.
It really is cool to see millenials talk it out since they have their own opinions but they try to understand others standpoint. The other middle ground episodes that involved some older folk..they were just set on their way that they just shit on other people's look on life. Of course not every millenial or oldie is like the people in these videos but I feel like majority are.
As a society, we need to get rid of the stigma that surrounds manual labor jobs. People tell you throughout life that if you don't go to college you are going to end up as a construction worker, plumber, or electrician. They say it like it is a bad thing. These jobs are critical to the upkeep of civilization, and you can make a lot of money in these jobs! College just isn't for everyone, and it should not be treated as a necessary step to having a good life.
Bruh my dads an electrician, and as a kid I didn’t know that people hire people to install Fans, and outlets, I just thought that was something everyone knew just as everyone knew like changing lightbulb
Kitty Mittens A lot of the time the people that hire electricians to do those things do so because of the opportunity costs. They would lose more money doing it themselves, being away from work, than hiring someone to do it.
Father Louis Williams Suga Adams Junior the third yes because the topic is a less stressful than the others, college (while somewhat controversial) isn’t as controversial as per say abortions or immigration, which is why people are less emotionally invested in it as an issue, which is why this is more chilled.

Besides thsoe taxes are already taken into acocunt with the employer when hes deciding wages so in the end things even out

@@lemarjames9546 we dont have free college but we have it extremely cheap. we just dont see the value of a degree on its price. A degree at harvard isn't valuable because you pay boatload so fmoney for it, its valuable because of the faculty and stantards of the college. At the same time i dont think the pricse you pay for college correlate with its quality. Theres plenty of very quality education in the rest of the world that isnt made less valuable because of its price. I didnt agree with in the video and dont agree with it now, if everyone went to college college wouldnt be useless. I jsut dont think college should be seen as a "prestige stamp" to put on your resumée. Besides, the different colelges owuld always be differently ranked and you would sitll get that prestige stamp. College is best seen as a tool to help you achieve what you want, if more people saw it like that instead of "i need that degree to achieve x" i think they would have a much better attitude in regards to their education (not that i know how people view college in the US, but i dont think making it cheaper would decrease its value whatsoever)
Moral of the story: everyone is different. College is NOT for everyone. People suffer from mental illness and family issues. You never know what someone has to go home to. Never judge someone based off of their education. Edit: I’m glad people understand me and liked my comment, I suffer from depression and doing anything is exhausting, especially school. I want people to know you don’t need college or extra education to represent yourself in your own beautiful way, no matter what anyone says, you do you, your life is your life.
But how do you then live or survive? You can’t afford any stuff except you maybe become creative and create your own ideas... Or be an entrepreneur. I hate school too and I’ve suffered from depression for a while now... But giving up isn’t an option because how do I sustain myself yk?

Bruhmindyourbusiness k I respect your opinion but what you are saying is false. stay at home mothers work just as hard as those with a job, just because you don’t have a traditional job doesn’t mean you are lazy and don’t work hard. my mom worked and had a well paying job for years before she decided to quit and become a stay at home mom and it was honestly so much more beneficial for me. I had a much better bond with my mom than a lot of the kids that i was friends with, they were going through terrible things but didn’t have anyone to call on or protect them because their mom was never there for them, always working. having a mom that guided me along the way and was with me when i went through stuff helped me to end up more stable. also, there’s so many aspects that come to play in being a stay at home mom, they handle ALL of the family related things that keep everyone in the house going (excluding the financial aspect), they don’t just sit around and watch tv, they take care of majority of the responsibilities that no one else is willing to do. a lot of people seem to forget that being there for your kids emotionally and physically is more important than being able to buy them nice clothes, just giving your kids material things is not being a mother. however i do have major respect for woman that handle both being a mom and working a job to make money, i think that is real hardwork too.
I’d love to see it, too. I was home schooled by my stay at home mom, but my daughter goes to school right now and I work. I feel like though those are fantastic topics, they’d have to find just the right people, because both of those topics dominate “mom related” blogs and articles and a lot of people argue beyond reason.

Tell that to the companies that use test scores and GPA to filter out potential candidates. I believe what you say, but as long as those scores are used to employ people, they will determine what companies think we have to offer.
but on a general scale they do. The company has to weigh the most cost efficient method in which they select potential employees. For some companies this is the best method. Plus scores do weigh as a part of integrity and effort.
Fundamentally, tests can be detrimental to the future of students. I agree, there are aspects that fuel success in the long run but too much isn't taken into account when given.
I like the idea of attending college more than college itself. College is not a walk in the park. So many sleepless nights, emotional breakdowns, morning coffee runs, and more crying. It feels like a never ending rollercoaster ride.

Some of the most intelligent and wise people I met in my life were drop-outs. They usually have deep life experiences and have an extremely hard work ethic. But I also agree if you have a chance to go college, you should go and do it. Basically some people believe college is something absolutely necessary and if you don't it, you're failure, these people are not wise and narrow minded, life is too varied and complicated to set every decision in black and white, there's a lot of unpredictable gray area.
If you wanna be a doctor, lawyer, engineer or phycology, yes ,you need it, but for other jobs like designer, programmer, or accountant, you don't need it at all.
Many of the majors don't even train you for any specific job ... Especially the humanities. I know people who go into majors like history and philosophy and end up in banking, or working at a car dealership.

Before I dropped out, My father gave me two choices. 1. Drop out - get a job - grow up fast (I was 16) 2. Stay in school - go to a catch up school even though you're smarter then that I chose option 1 and for the longest time, I was looked down on by friends, teachers, and even my own family. I had words thrown to me by my little and older sister for not finishing school, my Father always bagged on me to get a job and my mother didn't say she was proud of me anymore. I was hounded harshly by many people, and I remember one of my teachers saying "You will regret this" That went on for a year and it was constant. I'm successful, I live alone in my own apartment in a fancy place with a very nice job. And I have to say, the education system can teach you all about math, science, LA, and history. In the end, it never taught me how to do taxes, that was my father. It never taught me how to be a kind soul and get up to get to work on time, that was my mother and father. It never taught me how brutal the real world was, that was my little and older sister and ex friends. It never taught me skills that prove that I'm smart, that was my 13 years of IT Experience with my father. Education is important to prove worth, but it will never teach you to survive. And surviving is a very lucky affair only some people have made it through. The education system adds stress, depression, anxiety, etc. Those years of our lives that we're pressured to do these things we'll never get back.

If 10 people with a college degree apply for a job that requires a degree....vastly different than if 100 people apply for it. Historically, employers will keep upping the educational anty to eliminate applicants. So, instead of a BA, now we all need MA's. It is happening and will continue to happen. I definitely think college is not for everyone. We need to have that balance of people doing jobs that require degrees but we also need people doing everything else *that doesn’t require a degree* too! I think EVERYONE needs to be educated every single day of their life but that education does not necessarily have to happen in a university.

jcast39 that’s true. Let’s take a look at computer science. There are mainly 3 paths: boot camp, self tought, and college. Having that degree makes you so much more competetive than others because companies trust the colleges and know that their education will get you prepared and it’s what they are looking for. It’s definitely possible to get a job through other ways but you already have an advantage with college. Plus it’s easier to get internships with colleges and build up that resume.

I am glad to see middle ground back, but I would have liked to see a little more age diversity with this one. I think there would have been a better discussion if there was one older person on each side.
Logan R. Firstly, this is graduates and dropouts. Plenty of older people have graduated or dropped out of college in the past. Also there are older people who go to college. It is not just for young people. Secondly, I didn't say it had to be "old geezers". I said "older", meaning not just people in their 20's. You can learn a lot from older people if you are respectful and listen to what they have to say. Thirdly, I do agree that the elderly usually don't understand younger generations, but that doesn't mean they don't have anything good to say and teach us. They grew up in different situations and the world was a lot different back then. Their experience in life gives them wisdom that can be passed on and they have a different perspective that might give insight into things younger people probably don't know about. You shouldn't dismiss the elderly just because they think differently and don't understand you. Maybe the elderly and young people should try to understand each other more. Finally, middle ground is supposed to bring people who disagree together for a discussion. Maybe there should be an episode with elderly and millennials.
I'm a graduate but have to admit one of the main reasons I got a degree was to please my parents. For most of my life I never imagined there was any alternative. For the first two years I was in a major I hated because that's what my parents chose for me. My boyfriend (now husband) convinced me to change my major to something I actually enjoyed and I'm so glad that I did. It's not as prestigious or high paying, but at least I'm actually happy
Put it this way, an employer has two applicants to choose. One applicant just got their degree/diploma in the field of job. The other applicant don't have a diploma/degree but have a lot of experience in the field of the job. At the end of the day, Employers want people that have experience even if they don't have diplomas/degree. There are many paths to be successful in life.
Well - I'm a dropout after one year. I did great: studied, got good grades, top 15 in my Uni. I didn't even fathom dropping out, it seemed like my life depended on getting that diploma. However, I've always been on a quest of learning more about myself and my place in this world, so as i learned more and more about what truly makes me happy, i realized i was just being robotic. I was just doing things for the sake of fitting into society's expectations. It wasn't for myself. I love learning. I love it so much that i simply want to do it my way. I don't want to be restricted by competition, fight for grades in order to get scholarships, be under authority. Nowadays, being financially independent is easier than ever. Freedom will never be complete, yet i strive to be as free as i possibly can and enjoy my learning journey all of my life. I already possess the tools to learn on my own, as does everyone. Do what's right for yourself and think about your choices... going with the flow can be damaging sometimes.

You don't always need college to become successful, but an education never hurts anyone either. Regardless what you do, have a plan, learn from your mistakes, and most importantly, never give up on yourself. Good luck.
How I view if everybody went to college: 50 or 60 years ago, finishing high school was what you needed for most jobs. Going to college was looked at as being optional and makes you look more prestigious. All you needed was a high school degree though. Today, only having a high school degree is looked down upon, almost like college is necessary, but if everybody went to college, it'd be the same as high school 50 or 60 years ago.
Right now college degrees aren’t worth as much as the boomer era. Now there are job shortages in the Vocational field (Mechanics, Construction, Welding, Electricians etc). And a lot of the ppl I know that I have degrees are struggling way more than the ones with vocational jobs.
Exactly like no I don’t want to go to college but it’s like you’re expected to have went and have a degree. It’s needed to get higher up in some office jobs even.

After graduation they insisted I went to grad school but this time I stood up for myself and I'm finally in route to do what I've always wanted to do.
This just all depends on what you’re into. If you want to want to be a doctor or lawyer, obviously you’re going to need some schooling. It really just depends. Also some like education, some don’t. I did a degree while working and that was fun for me so ye.
callista you are right. I would also like to throw in the issue with the education system that goes to far into details that would not be necessary if you already know where your strengths lie, e.g. Math, where they teach you things that you will not need in college for majors like law and somewhat practical medicine. Of course the Basic must be thought like in the first 2 years and after that you should be able to specialise (in High School) with the related depth (Economics calculations e.g.) IMHO.

As a 21 year old college student... I think if you possess a particular set of skills that could potentially turn into a business, college is needless. Especially if you are ambitious and courageous
Honestly, I feel like colleges should have a minimum application age of 20 or something so that students can take some time off to think about what they want to do with their lives and appreciate the value that college brings. Get a job, pay some bills, and think about their career in the process or even if they want to go to school. College is different from high school and it should be treated as such.
Unfortunately, many people who take a year off lose motivation or are content enough where they are to not move forward. It's so important to search for your interests in high school
Are you telling me that are smart enough to finish school early and get into college aren't responsible enough to make the choice to do so? I really hate when ppl say this...in a way its true but are we really going to forget in certain fields this is almost impossible to happen? This just doesn't apply to ppl who went(at one point) to law school, went for careers in the health field or even in construction unless HUGELY self taught or reliant. But one thing in common is the ones who push the hardest and are smartest about navigating their way through make it further than those who don't. Getting a degree doesnt guarantee a good job or income, just like going into a line of vicarious or blue collar work doesn't mean higher pay than ppl with degrees. Theres tons of blue collar workers making a wide range but if you narrow it down to a field that requires both education and drive like an anisteasialogist you'll end up finding that the base wage(not earnings) is a lot more steady.
My fiancé is a psychology major, I drive garbage truck. I almost double her salary. Edit: thank you for the likes, I had no idea this would get this much attention.
Me watching this because after a year of going to college and changing my major two times I decided I’m gonna drop out to pursue something I know will make me happy even if it doesn’t allow me to sustain a living. I’d rather be happy and broke than miserable and somewhat wealthy.
College isn’t worth it. 60% of jobs don’t require college experience. 2/3 of the US go to college. There’s a very high freshman dropout rate. You could be an elevator technician and make 100k a year.
ChristianAdamG I don't necessarily think that it should be free but I do feel that once you've picked a major and are certain beyond any shadow of a doubt about your decision that the classes you take should only pertain to that major. Example: Student A decides to go into engineering and as a result, the student would only have various maths and sciences that relate to engineering thereby allowing student a to finish college faster while simultaneously receiving all of the information necessary to do a proper job out in the workforce.
There's free education in Germany, Denmark, Mexico, Argentina, Sweden, Greece, Norway, Uruguay, Finland, Brazil, Austria, France, and probably more. I don't see why it couldn't happen in the US being possible in those countries.
Brxan Code plenty of people are educated about veganism and choose not to be vegan. It isn't for everyone. I'm a French law student in second year of bachelor and I've never been so passionate and proud of studying, I'm so glad to say I found my place and it makes me happy. Some people cannot find that happiness in studies and that's fine, they are so many paths that are available to us, if something feels wrong and you do it to please others, you should consider trying something for yourself, even if sometimes it might be hard ♥️

Stereotypically, Asians are known to be very smart, aiming to be very successful in their careers, and staying in school cuz if not people would think of that as "wasted potential". I dropped out of college. I was pressured by the schools and my mom to go to college with the promise of a better future. There was many factors to why I dropped out but one of the biggest ones was my friends who didnt go to college were succeeding and more and more people i knew who went to college were at the same level I was. Hard to find a job because of no life experience. Most places wouldnt hire you if you studied for that field because they wanted fresh people. Personally..... I don't think college is a waste of time but I don't think we should be rushing to college. Some of my friends that didnt go to college right away are thinking about going now since they have a support system they made for themselves like a spouse and steady job.
@@jennamctune135 i ended up taking over the family business which i never really had a interest in. but its not bad. one of my friends is in a painters union. the others are in construction.
The problem I see that people say is that college is a priority. I used to think like that, but it's more of a choice. College is not for everyone, trade schools and vocational schools are a thing. There's so many options out there, and some people aren't taking that to their advantage.
The thing about being a drop out is that you can always go back. I dropped out for a year and a half and I'm currently a student. My brother has a masters degree and he's jobless. I'm the only person in my family without a degree and Im making my way in my job. I feel I learned more working for the time I dropped out then what I could've learned in University. Sometimes work first then education shortly after can work well together
If I dropped out I would definitely get a job somewhere or assume more responsibilities in my house, cause I currently don't know how to adult & i'm not really having any fun in college rn

Take a year or two off and explore. Find out what you like or dislike. Get a job in something you are interested. Make/ Save money, and work hard to where your employer/ supervisors/ co-workers are willing to invest their time to teach you. Don't fall for the same trap i did by going straight to college after high school. Just remember colleges and universities will always be there if you need it. There are many paths to success. My professor told everyone on the first day "the ones who dropout will be more successful than those who have diplomas". I dropped out cause my professor took me plus a few others aside and told us diplomas don't guarantee a job, just be financially (money) smart and work hard.
@@ahmedeissa1134 Been thinking to just drop out from college as well. But here I am an engineering student, 4th year, and have only 1 class left which I take in this fall semester. It's been hard because it's not something that I truly want in my life, feels like wasting my time only or society's expectation (mostly to make parents proud and such). But I ended up doing it, taking the class, even though graduating isn't my focus. Just do it anyway while planning to chase my dream. Will let everything that happen, happen, graduating or not. I don't know the future..
“If everyone went in college it would be useless” - that what happened in my native contry. Russia. Every cashier and potter has a bachelor degree in something.
But then they would be a smart cashier and Potter who would have at least some basic scientific literacy... Comparing that with ppl who don't know anything but think they are a know it all, I would take the 1st choice
Our universities are not the same . And there are universities that mean nothing but theoretically yeah you have a degree. But if you compare different universities the education they give you is not the same. That's the difference . Everybody can have a degree but in what and where ? That matters
I agree to an extent. Going to college doesn't mean you learned a skill or even finish, at the least you went through general studies which is the first hurdle. Ppl will always drop out and only learn college isn't for them before they get to what's relevant to them.
True story. While in college, I lost so much weight that my mom staged an intervention with my siblings and dad because she thought I was a crackhead lol
As a teacher I can only agree that these young people became articulated thanks to education. However, it is so true that education isn't found only in colleges and yes, I am a teacher, I am French and our universities aren't expensive (compared to US universities) and should be FREE for all the minds that are willing to learn!
m3wm3w LOL we don't teach for free. It is a society's choice where to redistribute the money of taxes we pay. It' s a question of priorities and the US is the biggest and richest country in the world!
The differences appear in the systems of education in play. For instance, do primary and lower level education push the concepts of trade schools, apprenticeship programs, alternative certification programs? Because the American education system doesn't or at least didn't when I went through. It is simply expected that you pursue a degree for the sake of pursuing a degree. When I was younger the belittlement of non-college-based professions was astounding, but the reality is not everyone is meant for college and college is not meant for all professions.
I don't think eloquence comes from formal education. I think it primarily comes from a person's desire to expand their own vocabulary. In fact, trying to force this expanded vocabulary on young people could potentially lead them to view certain types of eloquence as pretentious and something to rebel against. We cannot yet teach someone to WANT to learn. At the moment, we can only tarnish the concept.
But if you dont know what to do in life why would you be in college, like what if it just hits on what you wanna purse and already in debt and wasted your time

Alexa Flores-Herrera well I’ve taken a break from schooling. Decided to take this opportunity of being stuck in the house due to being “quarantined”. I’ve started to stream and game. I honestly might take a class but I’m still unsure. Schooling doesn’t seem to work for me. All i can help you with is take a break from it. Don’t worry about what your friends or family might say. They can’t change the way you feel about college. Do something you really want to do and go all in. It’s worth it.
There was a good strategy that my dad had once told me in this case to work my way backwards not forwards. Meaning to first enter the workforce, explore your different options in jobs and then once when you found the specific job you like , you can then pursue a college degree . (Again it’s just a matter of a personal choice as to which one you feel is best for you and as well as if the career your looking for requires a college degree or not )

I think it's because the topic is easier to handle, "Oh you went to college?Okay, Oh you didn't go to college? Okay". Not many people got out there showing off their degrees either.

At the same time i dont think the pricse you pay for college correlate with its quality.

Tell that to the companies that use test scores and GPA to filter out potential candidates. I believe what you say, but as long as those scores are used to employ people, they will determine what companies think we have to offer.
Happy Sunshine .
but on a general scale they do. The company has to weigh the most cost efficient method in which they select potential employees. For some companies this is the best method. Plus scores do weigh as a part of integrity and effort.

The school shooters would be in prison, dumbasses.
Before I dropped out, My father gave me two choices.
1. Drop out - get a job - grow up fast (I was 16)
2. Stay in school - go to a catch up school even though you're smarter then that
I chose option 1 and for the longest time, I was looked down on by friends, teachers, and even my own family.

WOOJONG 1000% Disagree. I dropped out of college and most college kids are in a bubble, safespace if you will. From my perspectative a lot college kids do learn new ideas and grow but most have the same mentality. It's like sheep.
Most college students are just young people with no direction and just following the steps that they feel expected out of them.
ko0lGuy23 that's exactly me. Like I just went to college because it was expected of me not because I wanted to go. I'm not happy, I'm depressed and pretty much suicidal especially during the semester because everything is just too much. And the worst part of it all is that I cant just outright tell my mom 'hey, I'm not going back to college." I've told her that school isnt for me and shes trying to make a compromise and I have no idea how to tell her that this is my life and she may not agree with the decision but it's my risk not hers. Especially when shes not paying out of pocket
don't stress about it, we all have the same parents that try to force us to do what they want. Don't be afraid to disappoint them. Do what you want and within the next 10 years you will figure out more of what you want to do and who you want to be. i'm already 31 and i have had so many different jobs and i'm still not sure what fits me. it takes time, all you can do is keep working and keep living life. Just my only true advice is try not to sit around at home even if you quit college. you can't find what you want to do if you don't go out there and try different jobs. Going out there and exploring life is how you find yourself and try to enjoy the people around you even though there will be lots of people that make you upset always try to look past them and think more about yourself.
Tyler Sanders if you’re above 21 you can legally live independent from your parents. Work hard and get an apartment for yourself, get some stable income and get a solid base for yourself to start doing what you want to do. It’s gonna suck a few months/Year’s and only do it if you have actual direction and an idea of where you want to go in life. Sometimes you just have to rip the cord between your parents and you, let them know you still love them but it really is your life so go ahead and do what you truly want to do!

@Matthew Zhang in my country collage is free and that gives people so many opportunities.. its worth it
@Matthew Zhang It would devalue its worth, I agree, as far as employability. If 10 people with a college degree apply for a job that requires a degree....vastly different than if 100 people apply for it. Historically, employers will keep upping the educational anty to eliminate applicants. So, instead of a BA, now we all need MA's. It is happening and will continue to happen. It also depends on the major.....psychology is not a good choice right now, unless you plan on a PhD. The market drives the degree pursued.
That’s so invalid. Look at Germany, Poland, and numerous other countries where degrees are free or nearly free.

I definitely think college is not for everyone. We need to have that balance of people doing jobs that require degrees but we also need people doing everything else *that doesn’t require a degree* too!
I think EVERYONE needs to be educated every single day of their life but that education does not necessarily have to happen in a university.

Facts education and knowledge can be maintained through different ways I was never somebody who liked being in a classroom learning I learn through experience and doing things on hand and researching on my own I think I’m pretty knowledgeable without being the best student
The issue with that is that even careers that did not previously require degrees are now requiring them in competitive fields. Nursing as an example.
jcast39 that’s true.

David William A. Very true!
what? How many old geezers do you think are still in fucking college/university? They don't understand us.
Emyay No. Just no.
Logan R. Are you dumb?
I'm a graduate but have to admit one of the main reasons I got a degree was to please my parents. For most of my life I never imagined there was any alternative. For the first two years I was in a major I hated because that's what my parents chose for me. My boyfriend (now husband) convinced me to change my major to something I actually enjoyed and I'm so glad that I did. It's not as prestigious or high paying, but at least I'm actually happy
The thing that hit home the most was "The time for me to pursue things I wanted to do in my life was now and college was holding me back"
I think success is subjective, therefore a college degree doesn't necessarily equal success...
My professors always said that colleges are a bet. I BET you can succeed if you enroll here, there isn't any guarantees.
"I think" implies that your opinion is also subjective lol

It’s free in Canada.

"i feared i would be judged if i didn't go to college".
The irony that only the Asian dude walked up 💀
Asian are very strict to education, they quite sure education is the key of success and people who didn't finish college is considered as someone uneducated.
what?
@@tmtmtm520 wym bro
@@milkjugjugglermate7994 i dont understand the comment
@@tmtmtm520 oh aight. Stereotypically, Asians are known to be very smart, aiming to be very successful in their careers, and staying in school cuz if not people would think of that as "wasted potential". So, for the Asian guy to walk up first (and being a dropout), it was pretty ironic due to the stereotype.
This is the friendliest episode of middle ground I've ever seen 😊
Yes babe
Can I marry you😊
Haha this was the friendliest and most calming one I’ve seen
EndofMusic in other middle ground debate videos people easily get defensive about their views
I think it was because it was from political viewpoints on opposites ends of the spectrum
Some of my friends that didnt go to college right away are thinking about going now since they have a support system they made for themselves like a spouse and steady job.
what field?
@@jennamctune135 i ended up taking over the family business which i never really had a interest in. but its not bad. one of my friends is in a painters union. the others are in construction.
The problem I see that people say is that college is a priority. I used to think like that, but it's more of a choice. College is not for everyone, trade schools and vocational schools are a thing. There's so many options out there, and some people aren't taking that to their advantage.
That’s deep I like that perspective honestly

Leaving college was one of the best decisions of my life. Happy working on my career as a writer and indie film maker
May I ask what you got a degree in?
If I dropped out I would definitely get a job somewhere or assume more responsibilities in my house, cause I currently don't know how to adult & i'm not really having any fun in college rn
@you're totally right they probably havent seen the replies ( meaning they havent checked their yt notifications) hahah
Lol how are you jobless with a masters degree isnt that what every employer wants
Muslim Vibes depending on where you live it can be extremely hard to find a job that is willing to pay a large amount. They area my brother lives in has a populations of less than 900 people with the nearest hospital being an hour away
this was a really chill but interesting episode, each one of them was respectful and open to listen to the other i really liked this !!!
“Wooh, just me, okaay!”
If that ain’t me-
Watching this because I’m on the fence about dropping out of college..
i feel you
@@allypremiumaccount5976 i am the same right here, college for me starts in 2 months, i still don't know what I wanna major in, career path, specialty, nothinggg, now I'm just so lost and I'm thinking to just have an engineering degree just in case, but wasting 4-5 yrs of my life is a big decisionn
Just don't.
Thank you for sharing the insight!
But then they would be a smart cashier and Potter who would have at least some basic scientific literacy...
Comparing that with ppl who don't know anything but think they are a know it all, I would take the 1st choice
Kyle Hudsons, i agree with you. But there is a big difference between educated person and person that went to college.
Tbh the dropouts looks hot
Edit : omg thank you all for the 2k likes I feel blessed ❤
Tsurugi Tenma thanks, I swear all of us are
It’s because they’ve never had the stress of classes. I’m just kidding
I was just thinking that

This was the most wholesome episode with some of the most logical people I've seen so far in this series

I can seriously relate to the girl who didn’t walk forward when they said “I know what I want to do with my life.”
But if you dont know what to do in life why would you be in college, like what if it just hits on what you wanna purse and already in debt and wasted your time

I’m 21 and in my 3rd year of community college. I’ve been contemplating on dropping out. I’ve failed & retaken plenty of classes that I feel aren’t necessary for what i want to do, actually I’m not even sure what exactly what i want to do. I haven’t taken a break from school since graduating. i went straight into college due to me feeling overly pressured by family.
Sybarite Gaming drop out college is always going to be there if u still feel like u don’t know what ur going to do don’t waste that money bro build ur resume and get work experience then go back to school
Same.

I went to college at 16 year old because I was homeschooled so I finish high school and (community college) at 18 but I went to school for automotive technology I feel it helped me get the job but after having the job I feel like it doesn’t matter that I have it if that makes sense
(Again it’s just a matter of a personal choice as to which one you feel is best for you and as well as if the career your looking for requires a college degree or not )
Please tell your dad he's very wise for me
