Just an idea on using your plastic bags, maybe try using bulldog clips and suspending them on a piece of washing line or curtain wire under a shelf and that way you can see what you have at a glance xx

Great idea! I used a tension rod with round curtain rings with hooks on them to organize my dies in bags. They are so easy to find now.

That’s another great way to organise and use what would otherwise be wasted space under shelving.

If anyone of your viewers live in Western Australia, I would be interested to form a swap group, like a happy swap, of crafty bits, fabrics, laces, trims, etc. I have tons of beads. Tons of everything really. No money involved, postage only maybe. I actually use 3 different areas of my house for my crafts. One, the largest room, for sewing and quilting supplies, journal craft in the “office”, and the tons of supplies, machines, etc, in the garage. Including most of my beads. I still use my kitchen bench as well. 😜😝🤪🥳

I love seeing you organize your bits and bobs. I wish I had half of your supplies, but I am new to the junk journal community. I also have been a quilter and slower stitcher for decades, but I won't say how much I have for that. So I understand your need to organize. I am working on making a spread sheet of the supplies i have. 20 pages so far. I have a fabric obsession.

I think we all need to organize and reorganize from time to time. When my youngest daughter moved out I turned her room into a craft room. Before this I just had stuff stashed everywhere. My stuff is all in there now but what a mess. So I'm organizing and can't wait till it's all done. My biggest problem is I do various crafts. So I divided it into sewing, paper crafting, general crafting like making wreaths and rag rug making. My husband built me a huge loom and can't wait till I can just get at my crafting again. And I have material waiting for several quilts! You inspired me to keep going!

I’m not bored at all! My craft room is trashed and it helps me to watch you organize while I do. I have been organizing in my craft room for so long! I had put my clay and doilies stuck away where I could not reach them. Now they are out and I can easily get to them. I have been working on my stamps. lol. I think they are multiplying. Next it’s all my laces, trims, lace and die cuts. Yikes. I was a cardmaker for 20 years. A lot of cardstock for that. Then I got into junk journaling. Oh my gosh! I have a mountain of paper! It’s out of control! After I organize all the small things, I will tackle the paper. The tough part now is having the space to sort. I love your ideas! Hang in there! Hugs, treen 💕💕💕💕💕

Sorting is always worthwhile. I am currently sorting my masses of craft supplies and destashing to good homes where I can. I have stuff in 2 rooms and a shed and goodness it feels overwhelming. I keep telling myself how much better it will be when it's done and I know where to find everything without a 3 hour hunt! Your decorated spine looked fabulous by the way!

Hi. I absolutely love watching your videos.
If you want to get all the air out of your plastic bags, slip a straw into the side and seal the top up to the straw. Such the air out the bag using the straw. Once all the air is out, pull the straw out and quickly seal. You'll be able to store a lot more in the container without the bags taking up a lot of space.

You poor thing, sick again! I do hope you start feeling better. I love all your beautiful bits and bobs. And I am the same way, I love a clean and organized space, I feel more creative. But I have a very small space and no place to put everything. So it’s kind of a no-win situation. But I’ll keep trying! Hope you feel better. Hugs ❤️🤗

Hello Gi, I love watching you store your stash and tidy your room - it's very therapeutic. There's a virus going around, where you get a cold or flu and it just keeps coming back. I've just got rid of one, which is the 4th one since December. My pals and family keep getting it too. My sister:s GP told her that it's a hundred day virus apparently. I'm in the UK, but I expect it's in other countries too. I hope you feel better very soon. I love all the colours of you ribbons etc, very, pretty. Velvet is my favourite. Take care, and get well soon xx❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

I label all my boxes and baskets! I make pretty boxes with recycled boxes covered with fabric! I store seasonal items in big picnic baskets, and tie a label on the handle, same with Easter! I find I use recycled boxes covered an awful lot! Looks tidier but my craft e room isn't tidy it is evolving! Tiny jars for sequins etc! But all recycled, I decoupage jars with lids so they are pretty and useful! I make bowls from papier mache! So far it is working! Love your video,

It must be the season for reorganizing our craft rooms and stuff . My grandson came and helped me rearrange the furniture and storage units in my craft room. I have ordered a small table from Amazon to finish out the arrangement for my sewing machine . And now I am organizing all the magazine cutouts that I use in my journals. It is going to be a huge job but it will be so much better when I'm done

Because my house is like a studio (approx. 300 square feet) with a large pantry and separate bathroom/laundry, most of my craft supplies are in bags. I won’t even talk about the endless boxes of stamps which I used years before digitals were even around. Now add stacks of digitals . Somewhere in all of that I’ve stashed my husband. My neighbor is a love. She lets me use her house during the day while she’s at work, so I have room to spread out. It works out, I’m getting paid to make cards (for her, her coworkers and the bosses wife) and spend the day with her little dog. My name is Robin and I’m a life long crafter.

no not at all dear is boring I have been doing this too ,my lace and trims I wind on cardboard from cereal boxes I glued 2 together and made them so long and then wound them and then put them in a container so they are all together so I can go to them. then I have a container for really small scraps of lace and trims. I also in bags t I have paper scraps in different categories such as tea dyed papers , card stock colors , and special papers which helps to organize so I can find what I am looking for . when I am doing a journal I have some flat trays where I will put the theme I am working on and then after put in bags ,I use the bags that products come in as to recycle them. I love to be organized so I can fins stuff makes it so much more easier and stress free. Hope you feel better soon dear ,Take care of yourself rest dear much love to you.💖 yes makes me feel clearer and makes things much easier to have room to craft .

I have just done this! My suggestion is to cut a useful piece of card stock ,white or tea dyed or colour match contents of bag. I round the corners and use favourite size of journal card, size depends on size of bag. Then label the top - place same with same - enjoy every moment, aren't we lucky to have so many beautiful pieces. Bags can be stored vertically in any filing box. Use a straw to suck out air after you are well of course! Odd incompletes on the opposite side of the card. Never look for the right sized journal card base againafter all there is one in every storage bag ready to go :) Enjoy your "clutterbugging" Love and be well Helen

I think supply storage is something every maker struggles with at some point. My issue is if I don’t see it, I don’t remember I have it to use. I have tried plastic bags myself in the past. It didn’t work for me because you have to empty the bag to get to the one thing you want to use. And eventually the zipper part at top wears out. It was just a lot of little baggies everywhere & it felt even more cluttered somehow. I don’t know what the right answer is but I wish you luck in your organizing journey! ❤

Glad to see that I'm not the only one with multiple containers of specific journal items. I tend to do the same thing when I'm making a journal and then I don't get the trays cleaned out. My biggest issue is the digital pockets and tags that I didn't end up using but have already cut out. I don't want to throw them but where do I keep them?
