“Nah imma do my own thing” - SpiderVerse
      “I’m Just Ken” - Barbie
Almost every scene in “everything everywhere all at once” but especially the big speech moment
Rocket Racoon’s entire story - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3
      “The Trinity Test” - Oppenheimer
(Spoiler) _____’s death - Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One
Anytime the Indiana jones theme played in Dial of Destiny
      And many more…

Just say you don't understand and ask for an explanation instead of trying to belittle someone else's opinions. He had nightmares of this song and mentions that in one of their first meetings, we know this. The fact that he went home and learned the song shows that he was already beginning to face his fears and come out of his shell even after the little time they had known eachother and spent together. He learned it for multiple reasons to me. One, to face his fears and the fact that he used to actually have nightmares of the song. Two, because it's a song that first played in the bar on their first date, so it's romantic for the both of them that he would even go through the trouble of learning a whole song just because they both knew it played on their first date.

She has the ability to hurt him due to her history and he’s infatuated but also happy with how she’s pulling him out of his fear. This scene is perfect for this movie and really ties everything together. Perfect choice of song for the narrative. I'm a socially awkward autistic musician and even the same obsession for the lyrics of this song, so I have quite a bit in common with Percy and I absolutely love his performance. ...but what gets me about this scene the most is actually Jennifer's reaction. That's what REALLY makes it a gut punch.
I've been in this situation and I've seen that face and this scene just absolutely f-ing kills me. It's perfect.

She'll only come out at night
    The lean and hungry type
    Nothing is new
    I've seen her here before
    Watching and waiting
    Ooh, she's sitting with you
But her eyes are on the door
So many have paid to see
What you think you're getting for free
    The woman is wild
A she-cat tamed by the purr of a jaguar
    Money's the matter
If you're in it for love
You ain't gonna get too far
    (Oh, here she comes)
Watch out, boy, she'll chew you up
    (Oh, here she comes)
    She's a maneater
    (Oh, here she comes)
Watch out, boy, she'll chew you up
    (Oh, here she comes)
    She's a maneater
    I wouldn't if I were you
I know what she can do
    She's deadly, man
She could really rip your world apart
    Mind over matter
    Ooh, the beauty is there
But a beast is in the heart
    (Oh, here she comes)
Watch out, boy, she'll chew you up
    (Oh, here she comes)
    She's a maneater
    (Oh, here she comes)
Watch out, boy, she'll chew you up
    (Oh, here she comes)
    She's a maneater
    Ooh
(Oh, here she comes) here she comes
Watch out, boy, she'll chew you up
(Whoa, here she comes) (watch out)
    She's a maneater
(Oh, here she comes) (she's a maneater)
    Ooh, she'll chew you up
(Oh, here she comes) here she comes
    She's a maneater
(Oh, here she comes) (watch out)
She'll only come out at night, ooh
(Oh, here she comes) here she comes
    She's a maneater
(Oh, here she comes) (she's a maneater)
    The woman is wild, woo
(Oh, here she comes) here she comes
Watch out, boy, watch out, boy
    (Oh, here she comes)
Oh, watch out, watch out, watch out, watch out
(Oh, here she comes) (watch out) yeah, yeah

This scene makes the movie for me. Andrew’s character is phenomenal singing this song. He reminds me of pets sounds Brian Wilson he absolutely crushes this song with the grace of a legend and Jennifer’s acting in this scene shows why she’s so talented. She conveys so much emotion with her eyes. Love astonishment guilt because she knows that in this moment she loves andrew’s character she’s astonished by his talent but she also knows she lied to him and she feels bad about it. It’s absolutely a masterclass of acting and singing in one scene. This scene is THE BEST scene in the entire movie.

All without saying anything. That's quality acting right there. Andrew is great too, the song is pitch perfect and he plays his part so well where he appears to completely miss songs warning of a broken heart applied to his current situation.
