  • The 2019 Grand Cherokee unlike most Jeeps which are designed to be at home in the wilderness, this one is designed to be at home on a race track. With its fire breathing 475-hp 6.4L Hemi matched to an 8-speed automatic transmission, its capable of going 0-60-mph in about four and a half seconds using its launch control system. Buy with the Whipple supercharger kit this one was dyno tested at 640-hp and 553-torque. With its drive mode selector this Jeep can change personalities at the flip of a switch. In normal mode the 8-speed auto is so smooth you can hardly feel the gears change and the Jeep feel like a luxury vehicle, but if you switch it to track or sport mode the personality changes, the shifts become hard and the throttle response feels like a sports car.

In sport you have to paddle shift up to the next gear that’s why it couldn’t go to 4th

No you don't? It operates exactly like it does in auto mode it just changes a little quicker and as he said, holds the gear a little longer. Track mode is the same again but more aggressive. Look at 8.21, he has both hands on the wheel, not touching the paddles and it changes gears like any other auto.

Well since all this work was done and is aftermarket , the vehicle shouldn’t be much over 40k I have a supercharged srt jeep and was told aftermarket lowers the market value

Any modifications that make a vehicle less than stock will decrease the value, especially on super chargers/turbos. The life expectancy on a vehicle drops dramatically with this change

@goodnightmoon4703 that is not true at all.... I see it all the time... ppl who can't afford it says this... even dealerships pay more for some mods. Superchargers are one of them.

@@sojer6mile I had a Jeep srt 2018 and I can afford another one and I’m buying a trackhawk in the near future, just looking for the right spec and waiting for the interest rates to drop, call any dealership and ask them if an aftermarket supercharger would lower the value and see what they say

Depends what you want to do. I put forged internals, ripp supercharger headers stage 2 cam tune. Over 900 now and after the tranny and rear end and some.small stuff I'll be 1k wheel for close to the same as a new trackhawk

@@sojer6mile but what you lose is the resale value, a modified srt will be depreciate way faster and will be pretty difficult to sell, trackhawks hold their value way better than a lot of cars because they are so rare, a lot of people have actually had their car appreciate even after putting some miles on the car

@@user-cm1cf7cc6e sounds like a beast! And you are right in terms of purchasing price but what I’m really referring to is the resale value, trackhawks keep going up in price and with just a tune and a few bolt ons you can easily get over 800 horsepower and retain that trackhawk value which has been going up due to demand, a modified srt will be difficult to sell and depreciate pretty fast, but I mean if you have the money and it’s your dream build than I get that also, sounds like a rocket! I had a 2018 srt in the rhino paint and was still my fav vehicle ever

@@goodnightmoon4703 that's not true... a modified trackhawk just sold for 130k... they don't have the same large market because everyone don't have the money or want one that's modified... just like everyone don't have the money to buy a stock trackhawk or want one. Also u think ppl doing that thinking it's an investment? Race cars sell daily... 95 ram 1500 sold for 140k it was a race truck... tube chassis blown alcohol big block....

I would have to call the company that did the dyno test and see how they measure horespower, we are not 100% sure, we think the dyno info was measured at the wheels.
