You're out of your mind if you think 1997 is NOT part of the Attitude Era - formation of DX, the rise of Nation of Domination, The Hart Foundation reformation, the crossover with ECW, the screwjob, the first Hell in a Cell, the debut of Kane, Austin vs Bret, Austin/Pillman, the first Austin/McMahon stunner, Dude Love, etc.
Yeah the end of 97 is when I started rewatching the attitude era.
Another great episode guys, thank you. I've just gotta say, and I know it's been said in the comments of previous videos, but please don't promote WATA/Heritage Auctions. They have zero credibility, don't respect the collector and have previously been involved in lawsuits. The entire practice of grading games is pretty much a scam and only serves to artificially drive up the price of them, which has no benefit to actual gamers. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
I spoke to a target employee about "street dates"... Target has a policy "if its on the floor, its for sale"... IE someone screwed up, and that's not your fault.. next time it happens ask for a manager and they should process it for you.

I love the debate on the rookie card. So do indie cards that come as a boxed set count as pack? Or even the Impact/TNA cards that have come out in the last few years, do they count as a pack?
Attitude Era to me is WM14-WM17.

Buying the set counts as a RC. That's how it was back in the day. Also, the RC is typically whatever matches the "base set". Meaning, if there are the highest quantity in the set that matches the 8, that's probably the RC. Having said that, I count both 😂. Modern sets have "RC" on Rookie Inserts/subsets.
