@@CybercoreProtos bruhh rip me, not to long ago we were doing the "i" or (-1) and I completely forgot how to solve that or how I did it, can't imagine calc :/
@@CybercoreProtos yup, math is easy tbh as long as all the questions are very similar like binomials, trinomials, and grouping it's easy but as soon as we do something completely different such as negative square roots I forget how to do those questions (bad memory)
I notice a lot of students in class are a bit confused with the side work on the left and WHY you get the numbers in the quotient...the way I learned it was you have X^ what do you need to get x to the 4th? an X^... so x^ * x^ = x4th. Same with -4Xcubed, you have X^ what do you multiply X^ with to get -4Xcubed? -4X . Its just finding the missing puzzle in my head you have A you have C so find B
Anyone watching this video and still struggling should go to maths unboxed video it shows a way to do polynomial division of any degree without using long division. Honestly it is so much better. At this point I just find the answer that way then do long division afterwards when I already know the answer because it is so much easier. Honestly it really sucks that you are forced to learn synthetic and long division when division tables are just better.
Someone just said in the end Him: what? (That's also me when my teacher had to discuss Infront the topic on me for the first time) Thank you so much btw. This helped ❤
i noticed that some of your students get confused with the signs. it's just basic integers tbh but i gained new knowledge from when you said that i could just change the minus signs into plus
patrick bueno oh lord, I’m grade 10 and we’re learning this... it’s maybe perhaps we were the last generation to follow our dep of Ed’s old curriculum thing
Tysmmmm!!! I finally understand it a lot better! Still struggling but like I rly needed help.. And i feel stupid that im taking a while to understand the concept.. even hd trouble with the easier version of that... but its prob cuz divison takes a bit fot my head to wrap around.. but tysm!!
The amount of times you’ve saved me in algebra you should be my teacher at this point thank you
It's crazy how sometimes you have to revise the basics even when you are taking a maths degree
I never was really that good at long division. Now turns out I need to get back to working on it since I am in Calc 2 working on partial fractions.

Same lol im on calc 2 amd didn't know exist long division
Not sure if you'll ever see this, but I appreciate you uploading these videos so much
bruh the kid on his phone 💀
"could you please... put that away"

just saved my butt for the test im cramming for rn lol thanks

6 years have passed, where you at now bro?
Honestly an amazing professor. Thank you.
I have a final project for math and forgot how to do this thank god for this video and the amazing explanations!
omg just saved my whole life ty
Only if you were teaching at our school i would understand everything, I'm lucky i find this video. Thank you.
EXCELLENT TEACHER ... THANK YOU!!!
2:22 why is it -2x^3 shouldn’t it be positive
The sigh of despair @ 4:56 min 😂
Lmao
Thank you so much...before I watched this video I was crying because I couldn't figure this out...as I write this comment, I am crying tears of joy.
Same!

The product of -4x and 2x is -8x2 and not -6x2
I agreeeeeee
Please be careful. You are making silly mistakes.
I really appreciate the teaching
Thank you so much, you teach me more than my actual did in 2 weeks!
This literally saved my life today doing algebra homework
Brian, you’re the real MVP
You mean MVT? MOST VALUABLE TEACHER LMAO
facts
this is so helpful, thanks!
what do i do when the exponents aren’t compatible like i subtract 4x^2 from 5x so do i just rewrite it into the next step as 5x-4x^2 orrr

could we not factor the divisor before doing long division?
Love it sir thank you very much
Thank you, kinda forgot how to do this so it was a good refresher
happy to help

I want that for synthetic division how can I do 😢?
It would be great to make for SAT test . You are so good teacher
Ur videos helped me a lot specially during this pandemic tysm
if i pass my math exam today , it is ONLY bc of you
I always use add the opposite so it makes more sense to me when I'm subtracting
This is better for online
Thank you sir , I forgot this method just one day before my exam😅😅😅
Thank you💕
What grade do they teach this?
about 8th or 9th grade I think, but there are schools who I think teach it much earlier.

6th grade wnxjdncjjrjfjwje then I forgot it this year cus of all the stuff
Thank you so much!
How to solve this x²-2x+1 |2x³-x²-4x+3??
Plss helpo
How do you answer this using synthetic division?
It's possible. Someone actually made an example about it. And it's on my exam
You can only use synthetic division when your divisor is in the form of (x-k)
Thank you helped a lot
thank you so much! you helped a lot!
God bless you man
i hope u were my teacher
those who disliked didn't understand a bit
thanks i learned alot

Who else came here to revise again?
how come (4x)(2x) is equal to 6x²😥
it's multiplication, not addition lmao
dankeschön! Brian :)
Honestly, I dont even know how to solve this thing because its 3y³+8y²-45y-50 ÷ y²+6y+5
How tf is this class doing trinomial division and can’t understand basic subtraction and indices laws hahaha
Because we r American kids
That's literally different from the one in the thumbnail (and it doesn't work by the same logic)
pls help me solving this 6x^5+4x^4-27x^3-7x^2-27x-6 /2x^2-3
Why is your head so shiny?
