German here. Never heard of Simichrome before. I have used Autosol for years. It's a company from Solingen (the knife center of Germany) with a over 90 year history. The have a set of variatons of polishes for aluminium, stainless steel and other metals. But the standard Autosol works for pretty much everything.

Hey there, I bought some autosol thanks to your comment, considering your expertise, how would you go about polishing the watch in the most efficient way? What tool would you use?

When it comes to the weight of the of elements, I feel that people unintentionally talk about them in a misleading way. There’s a great video by a Scottish comedian, where he demonstrates, counterintuitively, a 1 kg bag of feathers weighing the same amount as the 1 kg steel object on the other end of the scale. Some also do this with objects contrasting two metals together but the objects are different weights. And I feel the key caveat with all of this is that different metals have different strength-to-weight ratios, meaning that with a softer, more material is required to give the object is being used for the same durability as that object would have used in a harder metal. And the inverse is true with titanium and steel. Titanium’s strength-to-weight ratio is much higher than iron. So an object made of titanium would require less of the material than it would if it were made of steel.

Like the look but my body acids would eat at it in one day.

These are the same cases Steeldive and Addiesdive use. And the sapphire is 33.1mm.
