Thanks for the comparison of the two. I also put Gene’s pearl strips on my GL9. It definitely enhances the look of the saber. The venting on the LO emitter is really nice.

Wow! I didn’t know you can use the other emitter for all of the shine through!

Noce! Was wondering if you were ever going to compare the starkiller models.

I am receiving my 7c/pp starkiller back from weathering really soon and will eventually get a comparison video of it

Great review! Could you tell me where to purchase the pearloid strips for the GL9?

His name is Gene, but I don’t think I should give out his personal info here.

Hey Shamino's Workshop. Where can I get those MOP inlay stickers? I'm in Australia and finding such things here is impossible.

The are included with the kr sabers kit, but you can purchase extra from their website

Quick question sir, why do you have pixel pins on the chassis and pins in the emitter? I realize the ones in the emitter are for the blade but what are the chassis pins for?

    • @ShaminosWorkshop
      @ShaminosWorkshop  3 года назад +1

Hi there, thanks for the question.
So there are 2 different type of connectors for this chassis design
The first is the blade connector, which sits inside the emitter. This allows for connecting a neopixel blade and is unrelated to to the second type of connector
The second connector is a “pixel switch” connector. This allows you to remove the main chassis body (in order to access the battery and proffieboard) while the switch and pixel connectors remain hidden up inside the emitter

Oh wow! My LGT Princess Leia needs that badly. So on the switch pixels, where is the pcb that the pins push into. For example, I know there’s a blade side pcb that the hilt side pcb pins press into, but where is the pcb that your chassis side pins push into? And how in the heck did you get it into the hilt with the grip unscrewable, if that’s where it is?

At the 7minute mark you can see the “switch side” pcb when I show the inside of the hilt .
The goth chassis includes 3 pieces. The main body, the pommel spacer, and the pixel switch holder. The holder is secured in place by the main button which is basically a rather large screw.

Oh, I get it! Thank you. What is the length of the KR LO hilt? Just wondering how it sizes up to my LGT.

    • @ShaminosWorkshop

      Just over 10”
