I actually like the way so many people have been moved to quote lines from Jimmy's performance. If you've watched the video it doesn't make for the most enlightening reading, but I'm not knocking it. I do it myself very occasionally, and I also think it's a mark of really having enjoyed something. I bet Jimmy enjoys reading the comments and seeing how many people quote chunks of his performance verbatim...I know I would if I were the comedian in question!
What I DON'T like about Jimmy Carr is that he keeps making me say to myself: "Oh, bugger it, just one more beer while I watch this video". When I have to get up early the next morning!

He's like the British equivalent of Andrew Dice Clay, from years ago. Funny, Andrew was called crude, but Jimmy is popular because crude with the accent is funny. lol I enjoy both. lol And, for the record, my dad bought Mom a blender for their first Christmas together. I still have it. But we tortured Dad about it for years. LOL
Best stand up he possible ever did, saw him after covid & was disappointed, seems to have gone soft & PC, would have said he was my favourite comedian but would never go & see him again

Then why did you watch it? He has a very specific type of comedy, if you don't like it, go watch Tiffany Hadish. She'll tell you how awesome you are...😂
@@GT-um7so I stopped watching around 10 or so minutes into it. The laugh seems fake. Tiffany no thanks. Guess I will stick with my regulars Chappell, Burr and Madigan. I was just looking for some strange. You said his comedy was specific. Maybe in the delivery. I just didn’t feel that he was that good.
