Does your Gravely motor have a long start instead of firing right up when you turn the key??? And does your gravely motor acts like it trying to keep running when you cut it off??? It's like the timming is off a little bit on my gravely motor the 26.5 hp
@@scottshealey5976 one issue I did deal with was the long start. Come to find out it was only because I was filling the fuel tank too much. My advice would be to make sure there is a good 2-3 inch air gap between the cap and fuel. I'm not too sure about the continued running issue, but backfiring is common on these motors. Make sure to idle at the lowest position for 1-2 minutes before shutting off. Hopefully this helps!
