Underrated reviewer!!! I miss rune factory like games and the devil may cry like high octane action is exactly something I need on my PS4 to get through another dreary post COVID year. Thanks for your time and efforts in explaining the game thoroughly.
Thank you :)
This is a delightful game!
This is best review I've found about this game, thank you and I'll definitely give myself the chance to play it.
Thank you! :)
Great review, thanks and keep up the good work
Thank you!
Just purchased the special edition for $50 excited for it to come in the mail!! Subbed!
I finished it a couple of days ago, i knew this game was going to be good, but damn, it was something trully special, it feels like a game from the ps2/gamecube era but with modern gameplay and graphics
I completely agree! It’s very wholesome too!
I tried it but found the combat to unfortunately feel much slower than it always looks and I also really struggle with traversal using that shawl of hers. Probably need to give it much more time though. How long did your playthrough last?
I think 60 hours or so, I took my time and there’s plenty of other stuff to do as well
@@joethealternativegamer3935 Cool. Glad it's a fairly beefy game. I clearly need to go back. Just wish movement controlled more like it looked.
In fairness, it just might not be your cup of tea. And that’s ok too :)
There was some mild input delay in the combat as well, so that might be where some of the frustration came in for you. It’s a cute game that took me a bit to get into. Then when it hooked me I couldn’t stop lol
@@joethealternativegamer3935 Could be. But that would be sad because I like everything I hear and see about the game.
Then maybe give it another try when you’re in the mood :)
"welcome to the rice fields mother[REDACTED] ")))
Lol! This game was such a surprise!
i finished this game like last month ... and it was addicting that i wanted to platinum ... and i did after finishing the invasion segment ... oddly enough it reminded me of the game okami yet a game forgot and i need to get plat after all this time
I enjoyed the game on SORTS!! 😅
Never bought this game. The action RPG elements looked fun. The farming sim stuff did not.
The farming sim stuff might surprise you!
How is a game that sells a million copies and got generally positive reviews underrated? lol
I found it to be underrated. There’s no real criteria for underrated but compared to other games from last year this was not talked about enough. Selling well doesn’t exclude it from being underrated. Days Gone sold well and that is criminally underrated!
@@joethealternativegamer3935 Actually there is a criteria for what counts as underrated, you just have to look up the definition of the word lol. And days gone was only best selling for the month of its April release because it only had to compete against mortal kombat plus that wasn't even an indie game like rice and ruin and got lukewarm critic and player reviews anyway so you're comparing apples to oranges. Indie games selling a million copies is not a common thing and its even less common for them to be received well from both critics AND players. Think of how many indie games release every year, then look at the ones that actually break even on their costs versus what they sell, then look at rice and ruin and how it performed in just a year, by all metrics available the game is not underrated in any sense of the word.
You obviously know more than me! Lol
