One of the truly magnificent bands in music history. Good to see Rocco slayed his demons and is healthy again. Gotta love those muted and ghosted notes - slickest left hand on a bass I ever saw.

WE ALWAYS LOVED THIS BAND. MY LATE WIFE AND I LIVED IN THE BAY AREA .THEY WERE AS MUCH OF AS THE DOOBIES. WE LAST SAW THEM ON THE CONCERTS ON THE PIER IN SEATTLE IN THE 90. iT DOES,GET GET ANY BETTER

What a joy to hear the great inner voices and the change of timbre. I don´t think you could achieve that amount of volume
and play that well in tune if you you were playing Selmers. That is only my opinion and not meant to be
negative about Selmer or any other brand of sax. We are lucky to have so many colors available to us.

What a shame a lot of time is wasted about them blabbing about what make of instruments to play (obviously for sponsorship reasons) rather than how they approach their horn arrangements, playing as a section and many other useful information most of these people have probably come here for.
