And when I say diversity I don't mean the type that is trying to choke her, I mean the people filled with the love of freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Mean Mary personifies the idealism of the American people.
Mean Mary is awesome. She has such a unique style, down home, simple country girl chalk full of talent. I love to watch her and her brother play. Hope one day this poor-boy can actually see her in concert live. One day maybe. Mean time keep on playing. We love you and your music.

That is the best part of being an American!! We don't have to love everything as everyone else. In the end it really doesn't matter if they are popular as Elvis, Madonna or Johnny Cash. It only matters if it matters to you and you know why.❤
So perfect at everything she does. I personally rank her as equal to any of the master musicians in the classical field. She has elevated this type of musical presentation to that high a level, and she'd probably be the lone occupant of such an elevated class. For me, she is hypnotic.
I only clicked on her from a sidebar a few weeks ago, and yes, I'm beginning to see that she IS a virtuoso . She's great. As a Scot, this appeals to my atavistical musical senses.
I was saddened when Roy Clark died, thinking they really didn't make them like him anymore. People that are just a part of the music they play. Then I found Mary.
Mean Mary ... not just very Talented... but Beautiful as well! ( One of my favorite Dancing songs " Cottoneyed Joe" ... I taught myself to play it on Electric Guitar [ A Candy Apple Red Fender Jazzmaster and my Takamine Cutaway Acoustic] back in the mid 70's mainly because the Country dance band I was in ... we didn't have a Fiddle player in the band at the time!) One night at a gig ... I even got out on the dance floor in front of the stage with a few girl friends of mine and danced the Cottoneyed Joe while playing it on my Guitar ... Ooh the memories from my youth, had a " Ton of Fun " back then! 👍👍😎

It cracks me up that at the beginning the audience seemed a little sceptical, at 0:45 woman says "What do we have here," and by the end they were into it. A little disappointed no one is really dancing, I'd have been jumping around, ha. Love this video.
I don't pay attention to how others like or dislike Mean Mary. All I know is i wish i could play as many instruments as her and as well as her. There might be a song or two you may not care for , but you still can't say she did'nt played it good.Not every song can always be liked. There are musicians I really like ,but there are a song or two by them I don't care for either. If you don't get what I'm saying "oh well""
I never liked this song be ause I only knew it as tge remixed version played at weddings. This is unreal! Glad I found this version...it makes up for each and every suffering I endured at various wedding receptions!
