Vocal Solo with Jazz Ensemble - Grade 3
Recorded by Mark Ronson and featuring Bruno Mars, this sassy funk tune is on its way to becoming a modern day standard. Here's a hot version for vocal solo that captures all the excitement of the original.

I think the vocals are ruining the arrangement a bit :/
Marc *a lot
A lot.
But with the right vocalist, this could be ace 🤷🏼♀️
yep
@@tabibutler4444 Our big band is doing this. Our first performance is next Sat 5/18/24. I'm a white girl - gonna sang it with sum funk, ya'll !☺♪♫
Yeah I like this version a lot better but to me I feel like there shouldn't be a vocalist singing it.
Kevin Lozano yeah
I guess I am kind of randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to stream new movies online ?

@Bridger Zev I use FlixZone. You can find it by googling =)
@Bridger Zev Lately I have been using Flixzone. You can find it on google :)
who the heck is this singer? she doesn't reflect the style of the arrangement at all!
She never does lol
Probably because the actual singer is a male
Hot damn
I like the Sweeney arrangement a little better, but at the same time the original key is better than Sweeney's. Of course I realise the Sweeney version is aimed at Grade 2 players. Shame this new Murtha arrangement didn't put the bass an octave lower where it belongs. If you haven't got a 5 string, it's the perfect excuse to go shopping!
Uma otima musica de saida para uma Banda Marcial
Make another without the vocals
There already is. Look up Uptown Funk Hal Leonard Jazz and find the other one arranged by Paul Murtha
EuphoniumOverlord Thank you
I’m a trumpet 1... teacher told me to look at this during quarantine...
Excellent
im so confused on why trombone 3 is like, sometimes higher than trombone 1 and 2
I think that the other Paul Martha arrangement is better.
I thought there already was an arrangement by Paul murtha. I guess I was wrong. Like many others i don't like the vocals here.
There is and it's way better without the vocalist (or at least the one they have here.)
This sounds weird, but is there any song with a bass feature
No, because bass is awesome. It's also kinda tradition cause bass is generally hard to hear.
the entire song is a bass feature XD
4th trombone and bari sax?
I run a vocalist with my jazz band, but I'm having a hard time hearing past her.
Why not have one of the trumpet's or sax's do the main melody, instead of a singer?
No offense to Hal Leonard but stop getting this person to sing
Vocals 😐
