because this arrangement score is buying university's band. university's band consist of very young guys. "jazz is not cool today" - thinking that young guys. if you want that this guys will love jazz, you must do this arrangement

yazzer they play all grades of big band jazz, from grade 1 to grade 5

Jazz envelopes a huge genre, and musicians have to get used to playing new styles and songs to remain employable. So pull out this song, play Girl from Ipanema after, then maybe a Chick Corea tune or something.
Besides, a simple song is a neat challenge to play
