It's a good upgrade if you're coming from iPhone 12 or earlier, the main camera, USB-C port, and even Dynamic Island itself is worth it.

what camera are you using to shoot this video?
iPhone 15 has some improvement, the solid battery life, the design give a comfortable grip, the A16 bionic chip, the default 24mp on the main cam, auto portrait and there's a USB-C port.
But the ultrawide is disappointed and yes it has no autofocus and no refresh rate (as expected), very slow charging speed.
Great review but I can’t stand the dynamic island. Will get the iPhone 14 instead.
I don't know but I'd prefer this kind pill hole than a single cut-out on the center. At least the pill may blend on the screen state, but the single hole looks weird.
The refresh rate might be a bit poor but I’ll suck it up so it’s definitely worth getting

Loudness lower than 14?
Apple probably won’t bring higher refresh rate for the baseline model unless they up the refresh rate for the pro models. If the pro models go up to 165hz then there’d be a reason to up the refresh rate on the baseline models. Bringing 120hz to the baseline models and the pro models at the same time would make the pro models a hard sell other than for cameras
I had the same thought! They could just redefine ProMotion to be 144 Hz or more, since they’ve been focusing more on gaming with the 15 Pros.
@@RayQiaoTW I hope they go for 120hz on the baseline model, 144hz for the pro model and 165hz Pro Max. That’s enough of a difference to make it worthwhile. The SE could remain at 60hz as the basic IPhone
They also need to compete with other phone makers as well as give people a reason to upgrade. I suspect 16 is where the base model gets that upgrade.

Hello. Do you think there is so much difference between iPhone 15 and 15 pro which is worth to pay much more to get 15 pro?
If you are an average user the regular 15 will be just fine. The only thing that I find ridiculous about the iPhone 15 is that it still has 60hz instead of 120hz.

Too late of a reply but just go to your camera settings and change it. They use HEIF format by default in order to save space since that format isn't size heavy

I recently purchased iphone 15. When I compare my Iphone XR display/screen with my iphone 15, the 15 looks yellowish and dim. I have tried with toggling true tone and night shift. Still, the 15 always ended up yellowish and dimmer. Is it really the screen brightness for the newer iphone now?
Yes. LCD display tend to be more blueish as opposite of OLED's yellowish tint colour, the yellow is more color accurate. But our eyes are used to see that bluish color tint on lcd looks natural.

Apple now can think about to change their non pro series to have different name , neither specs nor design matches with pro series now. couple of years back apple released SE models which at least matched processor. iphone 15 is very much trimmed down version of iphone 14pro minus premium material , pro-motion optics and some SW features . New iphone15 is actually a iphone14FE TBH.

Life is supposed to be easy but companies like apple made life complicated and difficult for themselves and others.
I have no problem using iPhones from the first up til the 6s.Those were the good phones but after that period it is good riddance to apple iPhones. Everything from then onwards the other phones have and have it better than them and apple have been playing catching up and playing with what others have leftover since then.
Sucks that they are a trend setter. I can never forgive them for removing 3.5mm jack and charger. And for some reason, these stupid brands follow whatever they do.

Latest and greatest specs does not means a good experience. Android rides on specs but falls behind in user experience and consistency. For example, Like snapdragon launches a processor and says this much of performance and efficiency it will provide in latest processor. But it depends on phone OEMs of how far they fine tune the software with processor to utilise it to fullest. That's not the case with Apple. They develop their own hardware and fine tune for their software. Also apps are more fine tuned for apple Devices than in the Android. Also recently Android devices are just becoming or replicating apple. No headphone jack, no charger in the box, replacement of battery is long gone, installation of custom ROMs getting harder and harder. Now when all this happening , customer can only think "if this what it takes to own an Android, I rather go with iPhone". Like Louis rossman told Android right now is "death by thousand cuts" implying it is becoming more closed to the average user.

I’m using the 15 pro max and really enjoy it. But I’m also getting bored without android features. But what I hate about Apple is they recycle the base model chips from the year before in the “new”, model. Why should the 15 be using the 14 pro chip? We don’t see the galaxy s24 using the s23 chip and the s24 ultra using the snapdragon gen 3. The money saving tricks of a trillion dollar co. is a bit deceptive. But then again Apple is known for that.
