- I've spent the past week using the new iPhone 15, "regular" model exclusively with 128GB in pink. In this video I highlight my overall experience in a sort of brief review! I discuss my thoughts on the new-ish design, colors, new display with dynamic island, battery life, the new 48MP camera system and performance with iOS 17.

Regular 15 has me completely satisfied. I am not a content creator and not a movie maker. No need for a pro

I bought iPhone 15 light green color recently and it’s overall performance is great and hold it on my hand very comfortably, all the points you have covered in this is video is true since I am able to correlate it now. It’s really worth!!

i finally upgraded my iphone X to iphone 15 and i was satisfied. could have picked the iphone 15 pro but i dont need that much power for my daily life. plus i like the aluminum matte finish over titanium glossy one. and its cheaper.
60hz is the ultimate battery saver
give the user a choice, i have a 120hz display that i sometimes disable to save battery. But i still have the option to go 60 or 120. Its a shame that a 900$ phone can't do 120.

I have the 15 Pro Max, but would change it to a 15 Plus if the Plus had 120hz. I like the pastel colors, particularly blue, which is basically white.

@@bora3.14 it’s funny how the phone has everything else even up to 2000 nits of brightness outside and good oled panel. You now have customization and widgets and dark mode and all these messaging features and a reliable wallet with Apple Pay you get to choose between Google Maps and Apple Maps and have the best of all worlds. Yeah you guys are stuck now on the 120 Hz thing. Let me tell you something you guys will always complain and now you even have USB-C.
Same man, 120Hz is very important for me. Even my 200 dollar phone has 120Hz, WTF apple is doing.
@@itzdave1249exactly this. Apple doesn’t put 120hz on standard iPhones because they know A LOT of people would leave the Pros for the base, and make less money from the main iPhone they want to sell. They have to come with some new feature for Pros that makes people stay if they move Promotion to standard iPhones. Until that happens i would not expect promotion in those iPhones tbh

Honestly the 15's only drawback against it's main competitor (The normal S24) is the fact that it doesn't have a 120hz screen. I would rather get a 14 pro for less. However those are really heavy

The regular series is becoming so good, I don’t see the point of the pros that much anymore, coming from an Apple fan.

Have owned iPhones since iPhone 3. This is by far the nicest iPhone ever.

Natural titanium design?
Looks nice, but it's gonna end up in a case anyway. And the non-pro designs arent ugly either👍
120mhz?
So that I can see all those app icons move more fluently?😂
It's only gonna drain the battery much faster.
Ray tracing?
I dont game on my smartphone and I dont even have raytracing on PC. And if I were to play heavy games, which I dont have the time for anymore, it would be on PC.
New SoC in general?
I mean nothing beats the 16 bionic, other than the 17 pro, which is 15% or so stronger, but before the 16 bionic runs out of steam, most likely I will have gotten a new phone already.
Tripple camera?
I rarely take photos and when I do, even my current phone is good enough for me. If I want to create really really really great photos, I will get myself a proper camera.
Action button?
I mean, Android has this since ages and I dont use it. I think the silence mode with the old switch great.
So, rationally speaking, if I get an iphone, it's gonna be the 15 non-pro.
But I am planning on using my current phone, for a little longer yet. About a year or so.
And then I will look into what I wanna replace it with.
But I do notice, the older I get the more I'm thinking of using an iphone. I liked the idea of having 5-7 years of software updates.

I really wanted to get the iPhone 15 but I would like to hold on to my iPhone 14 for now. Maybe one day, the base iPhones will get USB 3.0 speeds and the Action Button.

Being an iPhone user myself for the last 4 years, I can now confirm that android is far more convenient and capable operating system any given day. I got used to iOS but OMG!! The amount of time/efforts/steps it takes to access simplest of settings even in 2024 is embarrassing to say the least. Will be switching to android soon again.
Apple might consider 90hz in the base models but it may be a couple years until they finally put 120hz into them.
I'll be moving from the galaxy s10 plus to the iphone 15 plus, the change will be overwhelming but I think it'll be worth it, that pink color is so pretty ✨️

The regular versions sure did get bigger upgrades but I still have a 14pm and it’s still great if I did get one of the regulars it would be a 13 that thing still hits hard

Nice job on the review ... I think the black one looks the best , but yeah that's a personal deal. I know this is old news , but it's still a bummer that it doesn't have a physical sim as I switch back and forth with my android . I watched a tear down video of the iPhone 15 and Apple just a placement box there and doesn't use the space for anything... Apple just took away an feature and told us it was an upgrade . I have an iPhone 13 mini so I don't hate Apple , but you do got to wonder about Apple as a company.

@@aileen8492 iPhone 15 uses an E-sim... I think that would be a nice upgrade for you but and if you don't change phones it's not a big deal with the e Sim and if you don't travel it's not a big deal but I do both of those so having a physical sim that I can just swap out of a phone is really nice

So GET this... I got my 15 Plus base for $798 including tax! How, you ask? I used a family member's Military Discount and purchased second-hand Apple gift cards at a 10% discount to make up the remaining balance. Call me silly but saving $190 off the retail price just makes me giddy :)

The 15 is a decent phone, my only complaint is the battery is not good. Only just making it through a day

i could not give up 120hz
too costly and dont have 120HZ refresh screen . reason i did not buy it . if you charge this much you better have best of features
All I ask is 90hz on that screen and we are at peace, I wouldn't even ask for a 120hz. I simply will not justify paying that much for a phone that lacks a common used feature that has been in the market for this long. I can do without 3 lens and all that. I spend 100% of my phone time on the fkin screen! I need that smooth experience.
I not sure is it I downgrade lol. I used to Iphone 7 plus . After so many years I even replace the iPhone 7 plus battery before as the battery needed to be replace but i get it done from " third party " . This year I finally upgrade but is iPhone 15 not the plus. After I bought check around a lot mention iPhone 15 plus battery is the " beast " last longer , which claim extra 2 to 3 hours than iPhone 15. I not sure regret my purchase or not should get the iPhone 15 plus , I do have to adjust myself due to the screen become slightly smaller. I curious your mention in this video actually you really using iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 plus?
Exchanged the iPhone 15 pro max for the plus in pink the battery is the same to me and I love the pink color I decided to save some money honestly I wasn’t using the max to it’s fullest

Regarding 120Hz…
I wish the Pro devices like iPad Pros and iPhone Pros had an option to TURN IT OFF.
From my experience, Pro Motion DRAINS battery pretty bad. I know that it’s supposed to be a VARIABLE refresh rate, but still, once you start SCROLLING, it hits the battery HARD.
I would have it turned off ~70% of the time…
there actually is an option to cap it at 60 hz: Settings -> accessibilty -> motion

Watching on my iPhone 12…I think it’s worthy upgrade…when compared to 13 & 14!!
It is, I just switched from iPhone 12 to a base model iPhone 15 and it is a noticeable upgrade. I think with the 15 lineup it is finally worth it to buy a new iPhone if your are on 12 or older, because all the small changes add up. I am very certain to be able to keep the iPhone 15 for at least another 3-4 years before even considering an upgrade.

@@philipyoungg man it was a pain in the ass to do regular things like navigate and click certain things. Has to slide the phone all the way down just to hit the top part. Thing was digging into my hip just being in my pocket. It wouldn’t even fit in the tech part of my backpack.

I’ll take better battery life over 120 hertz any day. It’s why I didn’t get the pro. 120 is WAY overrated and not useful on a phone in my eyes.

I went from 120 back to 60, didn’t bother me anymore after like an hour
I only like 120hz for hand writing and gaming. 60hz is fine for other things.

15, cant go wrong with dynamic island and the overall performance compared to the 13 pro which is slightly more outdated but i would still wait a few years to upgrade. Im upgrading from 11 to 15. Next year people with 12 upgrade to 15 and 13 to 17, etc….

Hello sir, like your video. Kindly advise, I have never used an iPhone. So now I am planning to buy one but confused between iphone 15 or iphone 15 pro. I am not a hard core content creator and I am not a gamer. I do take videos in my gym and and pictures of food and upload it on Instagram. My main use is of camera basically. It's my first time for an Iphone please advise.
120 hz would have drained the battery faster. Thr battery lasts all day and charges really fast

I never tought i would say this but, after using oneplus -phone 6 month now i tried the iphone 15 and it felt so choppy, slow and old, returned it and sticking with my oneplus nord 3 instead. Sorry apple, for that amount of money that the 15 costs its not cool to have only 60hz👎👎

So you know what bugs me the most? When an Android phone has a 60hz display it is a deal breaker but when it is an iphone, that's not a big deal. I mean that's why Apple does the things they do.l, because consumers accept everything they throw at them...
