Somehow you managed to pull off a 1 hour and 22 minutes long video and i never got bored its like i hit gold. Its amazing your commentary is good and i hope you keep going man :D Thanks for the amazing content i just watched
@@gizzVv a bit of a late answer but its pretty fun, i play it in bed some nights before going to sleep or on public commutes. the pve is not terrible either, to get more used to the mechanics and such. Its a mobile game thats "actually a game" which is pretty cool.
This is really helping me understand the game better, and I was actually in late game getting in with your mindset going "he's gonna want to do this", which you then did and I'm just thinking to myself "score, i'm getting it"
Love the risk game play. Would love some more in-depth strategy guide stuff, but that's a bit difficult to do for risk. Keep up the good work. Love the vids!
Who Wee! there is a lot of strategy to risk, there are certain tactics you can use to win consistently, in this video he could have won the game very early on.
Love the risk but my Lord to be grandmaster and have completely incorrect info about the reinforcement mechanic, cards, territory politics and the dice rolling mechanic is crazy!
ngl this feels like the thought process that goes behind Medic. Try to minimise the amount of attention you get to yourself until you feel more than confident enough that your push will be successful, planning five steps ahead of the enemy to avoid conflict the best you can, etc What a champ
I love games like this. All the thinking about what your opponents is gonna do and trading places is the best part of risk. Also you had some good commentary to go with it. Hope to see more in the future
I was just thinking I'll watch this a little bit, but damn was a whole fun to watch till the end Best part the total mind games as second place playing first and third against each other
This is saving my online school, jokes aside, This was one of the best videos I've seen in a while, lots of fun. Well done! You taught me how to better play Risk and I had fun learning too!
Hi man I absolutely loved this video and it seems like ur fanbase does aswell so if u could make a series of this game by creating a new account and doing a road to grand master series I think that would be very fun for u and great fun for us to watch love this man keep up the good work
For the new comers watching the video, in the end he didn’t have the time cause the animation was on, you can go to settings and turn that damn thing off! It will make things WAY faster! Besides that, lovely game! Thx
A game where being nice let's you win. It's only *natural* that Slin is good at this game ;) Love the gameplay though! Haven't seen Risk in forever, and it's fun to watch you :)
This is amazingly good advertising for games like this, IMO. (Not saying you're being compensated at all -- just that this sort of RUclips content letting potential players know how fun game X looks online is amazing. Good content. Lots of fun to watch. Like your commentary, style, etc. This is as fun as being a kid again, playing Risk as a teen. We were much worse than the top level players on the net these days for sure! LOL
I'm 64 and it has been about 50ish years since I have played Risk on a regular basis. So today I saw a Risk video on RUclips for the first time and thought that seems cool. I didn't know where to even find the game. So I looked on Steam and that is where it was! In my first multiplayer game I was totally scattered everywhere. I made a move toward Australia but someone beat me there so I had to accept his alliance request and back off. So I headed to Europe but Red then invaded Europe with two more armies than I had so I retreated back to Asia and turtled. Red became week in Europe by trying to take Africa so I took Europe but no one will let me keep it. So I turtled on Europe without taking it only getting cards when I could. Now there was only three of us SA + NA and Au + As. Au + As took Af and Sa. I had to leave Europe and take SA or the game would have been over. Na took Eu and was way ahead so Au + As + Af let me have Af. Eventually I won the game, lol. Beginners luck I guess! :)
Dear Steve, Raj, Youhana, Chiboucas, Prashant and I have been playing risk obsessively lately. Which, amazingly, led me here. Come play with us sometime!
I can’t believe that this vid only got 823 likes like I feel like a vid like this should have at least 4K from how good this is and how long the vid is
theres a map pack u can buy and u get 4 maps 1 of the maps is this 1 but u get more continents and south america africa and australia connect so its more even
Those type of players who decide to go after one specific player for no reason are the most annoying players. Makes me so frustrated. They think they are doing something good, but really are just destroying their chance to win the game.
One advantage of South America is that its easier to take over Africa or North America as a 2nd continent, so it could have a better future than Australia depending on number of players
Watching this in the new year! Loved this game as a kid, but was never good at it. This was AWESOME to be able to watch a pretty smart player. I am DEF gonna download this game on steam rn. Happy New Year! Droppin you a sub and a 👍🏼. Hope to see more Risk homie✌🏼
What a game ! I really like to watch your videos to learn, you're really smart and you share well (-1 for the music which was really annoying - otherwise, perfect)
Been watching a few videos, and you had me fooled at first. I thought you were pretty strategy oriented, til about the fourth video. Then, I started noticing a few things. First you only play noobs. They are pretty easy to roll, so good on ya. But then I noticed, when I play risk, people actually know how to play. Taking someone out after the first set is damn near non existent. I do wonder, is it because you don't play higher ranked? You also seem to have the luck of the Irish when it comes to dice rolls. Don't know how you pulled that off, but once again good on ya. For anyone watching, thinking, this will help me win, it will not. You play an intermediate or higher, you will get your ass handed to you.
Somehow you managed to pull off a 1 hour and 22 minutes long video and i never got bored its like i hit gold. Its amazing your commentary is good and i hope you keep going man :D Thanks for the amazing content i just watched
This was super fun to watch, love the commentary, going to buy risk now.
It's free to play on steam
How’s it gone?
It's free now, on mobile as well.
the board game? if you going to buy risk, buy war its better.
@@gizzVv a bit of a late answer but its pretty fun, i play it in bed some nights before going to sleep or on public commutes.
the pve is not terrible either, to get more used to the mechanics and such. Its a mobile game thats "actually a game" which is pretty cool.
It's crazy how entertaining that was! I loved hearing how you're thinking about the game.
yeah, I didn't expect to enjoy it but it ended up being amazing!
This is fantastic. Most important thing is to enjoy the content your making it shows allot.
Top tier content, first time watching this game and it's being so entertaining
Outstanding commentary man,props
I wasnt aware that I watched it to the end until the video stopped
watched the entire thing in one sitting, great video! I'd love to see more like this.
This was actually so fun to watch

This was terrific! Loved your commentary. Like others, I never felt bored for a minute. Definitely gonna be checking more of your gameplay
You are naturally entertaining and explained your strategy so well for new players! I was hooked the whole video!
Love the risk but my Lord to be grandmaster and have completely incorrect info about the reinforcement mechanic, cards, territory politics and the dice rolling mechanic is crazy!
That's what I was thinking. Grandmaster with so low knowledge of the details of the game?
cry about it
Damn when you pissed off blue even though you were in an alliance that was a top tier move lmao (ca. 30:30)
ngl this feels like the thought process that goes behind Medic. Try to minimise the amount of attention you get to yourself until you feel more than confident enough that your push will be successful, planning five steps ahead of the enemy to avoid conflict the best you can, etc
What a champ
Played this game with friends after watching. Great times, good job on the commentary!! Keep it up :D
I loved hearing your though process through the whole game, it was very entertaining :P
This is so pog, thank you so much SLIN!! Please become a pro risk player!!
Such a fun vid! More Risk would awesome! Your semi-betrayal to Blu was hilarious
Mr.Slin pub stomping in risk
Everyone: He is master of all arts

Absolutely loved this. I hope you upload more Risk gameplay and commentary
More of this pls, I could see myself binge watching this for hours
This was great, I don't even play Risk but I loved watching this.
"he is saying: blue im about to fuck you up" the commentary is amazing 😂😂
The lazy betrayal of blue and the sneaky green deals
Go into your options menu and turn off the camera animations so you can attack territories faster :) Great game, patience wins the day!

I’m not really into risk but that was super entertaining. Thanks for uploading!
this is the biggest stalemate i have seen between three players
GG. Great music, will start listening to drum & bass because of you.
If you have a card which is the same name as the territory you control. This card will give you +2 soldiers when used.
Holy crap it’s been an hour! That was one of the fastest hours I’ve ever experienced. I was not bored for a second.
Yooooo thanks that means a lot
proof of Mr Slin's girlfriend at 1:05
Payed actress

best risk video I ever seen before, nice content
love this new shit keep it coming and ill keep watching these long ass chill vids
THE ART OF NOT PISSING OF ANYONE
The age where video memory space is free
That took some turns
pls more risk videos, its so fun
theres a map pack u can buy and u get 4 maps 1 of the maps is this 1 but u get more continents and south america africa and australia connect so its more even
Watching risk after Ludwig and co played a few days ago. On the RUclips pipeline now, liking this video!
when tf did i watch this. im in to risk now and decided to click on this vidfeo and finds out i had it liked
You most likely know by now, but if you deactivate the camera animation in the game settings, you can make those sweep attacks ALOT faster :D
At 13:18 you should attack so he doesn't have to get extra bonus cards
You should check out WarLight, basically Risk in the browser but custom maps/conditions/scenarios
18:23 taking África and leaving Europ is maybe a message to green "Give me Africa and I'll give you Europe" if blue was a grand master
wow i just started playing recently and this taught me so much about slowing down the game
thanks for introducing me to this game
I have to sub after this vid. I love the commentary
Mate thats awesome! Why won't you try warhammer 40000?
Do you still play risk? This was great
You screwed the Australian turtle
Blue should have at least held the territory one space out from Australia.
Don’t know what is going on, just woke up, spaghetti, nice eyebrows. Iebeiebejej
Australia is hard to expand out of. It is nice cause it's in the corner but that is also it's weakness
Best commentary ever, more content of risk please

DO U GET cards for desotying people?, i just saw 1 guy desotry 3 guys in 1 turn and he only had austriali but trade in 3 times?
I'm super late but this was super entertaining! I'm going to watch your latest risk video now!
Slin you aughta post the playlists cuz it was pretty fire but RUclips's autogenerated list is super incomplete
Cards on map are territory bonuses
this is good video, i now understand how bad I am (just started but now i start to get some ideas)
Good watch, love the streams but glad I got to see this
I like how most of the video is just a Mexican stand off
What a game ! I really like to watch your videos to learn, you're really smart and you share well (-1 for the music which was really annoying - otherwise, perfect)
Good job great game. I feel like you had a great chance to win a bit sooner though
This is like literally how the three kingdoms worked~
thanks for the tips!

Such an entertaining video great job
I am secretly a NOVICE
Fear me!
I'm wondering how many games it'll take for you to reach max rank
Casually eating food whilst taking over the world 🤣
Love it, I wanna see more
this is actually very interesting
Would love to see more risk content
I hate playing risk but you make it entertaining to watch
Australia is the best choice every time you can get it.only one entry point.
i lowkey enjoy risk more than tf2...
Risk is based. Keep going fren.
Definitely mad at orange who didn't attack
I love this please make more
I don't like playing risk but watching this was really fun!
I dunno about branching off to other games but I definately would watch more risk gameplay
Not my kind of game but I'm still gonna watch because I don't want you to pull a Muselk
Edit: I love the mind games and betrayal tho 😂
90 hours to become a grandmaster? If only it took so few for chess.
Blue failed to capture Europe so many times they gave up on it 😂
how you put in your own avatar?
How do I get to play in a game like this ?
