10 Months Update - (Melting Pot of Shrimps) NO filter, NO CO2, NO Ferts 5 Gallon Nano Tank

  • This is 10 months update. The fish are called Sparkling or Pygmy gourami.
    Mixed shrimp tank isn’t really recommended. The babies will become wild shrimp color, clear and brownish.
    The reason I did is b/c the gouramis will eat any new born shrimplets.
    CRS are very sensitive to water parameters. I would only put them in a completely established tank. Probably over 3 months old tank, and temps below 26°C (79°F).

      Real talk, you should just cut out that whole previously stuff. Anyone who has seen just 1 video within the last few you've done, has already seen everything that's in that first 2 minutes. There's no reason to keep it in and it just makes the video longer without any substance. It's just pure filler. This shit is dope since I've started seeing it on Reddit, but goddamn after watching 4 videos of this series and them all starting with such useless crap at the beginning is just ruining it for me. I ain't paying u so u don't gotta listen, but I'm giving my 2 cents anyways cause it's the internet. Of course I'm just 1 person and yall can say whatever, but I genuinely think it lowers the quality of the video. That 2 minutes ain't worth shit.

      As always, great job! I notice your plants are growing more faster and the color is amazing after you did that bulb change. Today is my 8th day on my 5.5 gallon tank. Still waiting for the lamp but, I'm using a clip-on with an CFL 6500k 13w and everything looks good. My kids made me lost the patience of waiting 2 months for dropping some fish. :-/ I got 2 snails, 4 guppies and 1 cherry shrimp. Going to make a video to show you how it looks. Thanks again for sharing. :-)

    Hm those new neocaridina shrimp are probably going to interbreed at some point. Should be kind of interesting to see how the colony ends up after a few generations. Hopefully it doesn't just completely revert to wild type neocaridina, but it should be an interesting evolution to watch either way.

    • @otterspooptoo
      @otterspooptoo 5 лет назад +1

      CRS are pretty tolerant as far as caridina go. Especially low grade ones like seen here. They are often mixed put with neos no problem

    • @otterspooptoo
      @otterspooptoo 5 лет назад +3

      @@mohammadfarazian3672 whichever genus breeds the best in the water parameters + is the most aggressive eater = will out compete the rest. Ghost shrimp can get territorial but their fry are tiny and harder to survive. I have ghost shrimp with cherries and 1on1 ghost shrimp is stronger & wins on food. But cherries are better breeders in a community tank

    watching your tanks is making me get the tank bug again. I always had normal tropical tanks but I love your tanks better. more pleasing to the eye with all the natural vegetation. amazing to watch.
