Would you consider reading the Anne of Green Gables series? They're my favorite of all time, L.M Montgomery just writes so beautifully 💗 Thanks for sharing all your reads this month!
I love the long video! This is also the only video where I've actually read or tried to read most of the same things. Usually I've either never heard of the books you read or I know nothing about them but this time you unknowingly matched my reading preferences really closely 😂
It's been a long time so it could be more problematic than I remember but the only Dickens book I liked was Mystery of Edwin Drood. But he didn't finish it so maybe that helped. My forever fave classic is Lady Audley's Secret.
I’m reading the Discworld books at the moment, have Eric and Moving Picture this month. I really loved Guards! Guards! So looking forward to Men at arms. I’m with you, I love Carrot so much ❤
It was a really good choice for the book club, if you hadn’t picked it I probably wouldn’t have read it. I love it so much and cried so much too - they really kept it going right to the end..
I have tried reading Discworld so many times over the years, but never got very far. So many people have told me they can't believe I've not read it, as it's a perfect fit for me. I came to the conclusion that I just dont get on with Terry Pratchett's writing for some reason. I even put off reading Good Omens until very recently, despite being a massive Neil Gaiman fan! However, every time I hear you review another of them, I find myself thinking maybe I should give them one more try. The way you talk about them is different to anything anyone's ever said to try to persuade me to read them, if that makes sense, and, if I'd never tried them before, i know for sure that I'd be adding them to my wishlist. Food for thought ...
So well I do like some storys where there is a moral or a teaching, something that is popular with more traditional young adult and childrens stories. I much prefer a book that the characters feel like people. With that said I also don't like story's that idea of "your too old to be on an adventure" because I don't think that is true at all. Life is an adventure and your never yo old to gind joy and wonder in the world.
I loved The Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich! Thanks for the recommendation! And now my 10-year-old is reading and enjoying it too 🥰
I read The Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich thanks to your recommendation and I really enjoyed it
Another wonderful book to read about Syria and the Arab Spring is The Clothesline Swing by Danny Ramadan.
Your review of Riley Weaver reminds me of the book Camp by Lev AC Rosen, which has very similar themes. Also, Jason June is a human hug.
Ugh my wishlist grows every time I watch a wrap up of yours 🙄😂❤
So happy to have some cozy cute qeer stories without the trauma for this month! Thanks you

How do you read 12 books in one month?
Audiobooks help a lot, you can read them anywhere and while doing activities ( one month I read 15 Audiobooks)
