I appreciate the level of effort you go to with the timestamps and links in the description. I had a lot of these but I still picked up one or two from watching it.
Just got the game with the current Steam sale, thanks for the great video! Can't wait to try these out, glad to see all these great mods already on FS22
Awesome video man! I can say I'm a heavy modder type of guy, and I just recently got to buy FS22, after years of FS15, FS17 and FS19. And somehow I didn't know about these! I'll download all of them for sure! Thank you for this, these mods will make my life so much easier! Awesome video quality too, in every aspect! Keep up the good work! ;)
Real mower was a fav of mine in fs19 to be able to remove those pesky bushes that hide tools with ease especially on none created fields, would love to see it in fs22.
Love this list. I do already have most of them, a few more I will install. Store Deliveries is a must have for me, it was for FS19 too. Another great but not well known trick I use for Store Deliveries is when I am doing contracts/missions and I need to borrow the tractors/tools for the job is to set the delivery point to the contract field (or nearby it), then choose accept items. It will auto deliver them to the that job. :) Keep up the gr8 work!
Implement wear info is another one that shows the exact percentages on the hud of what each implement is at as far as wear goes, it’s on the in game mod hub definitely worth checking out!
great selection, can't dispute those! A couple of others I have - HUD hide (although it is in Power Tools) and Mobile Workshop, very handy when out in the field. Although, the Repair and Paint mod might help reduce reliance on that by adjusting the rate of wear and tear down a bit.
Can't argue with those Args! I've actually reduced the price for repairs but kept the timescale the same, I like the more regular repair timescale, feels a lot more relalistic
@@TheFarmSimGuyCan you do a steam tractor mod video please?? I’ve seen some really nice ones but the links don’t work. If you could get the link for Spotlight mods’s showman mod it would be really appreciated. Thank you
Two tips...in the lumberjack mod if you place the crosshair on the tree vertically and hold Alt it will turn red and you eliminate the entire tree....and in the Increase Light mod if you press Ctrl + F all the lights will be on. ..Hope this helps !!!
TY sir. I'll go through your newer vids as well. I am late to FS22, because I was still playing FS19 so much and just didn't see the need for the upgrade. Honestly I really still don't see a whole lot to make it worth the $50, but it is prettier and maybe as I play more I will find more that makes it worth it, but seeing the core needed mods always helps get a good start.
There are a whole heap of new mods to add to this list now too, definitely pushing the FS22 experience forward. hopefully coming out in the next couple of weeks
My additions would be disable automatic cutter lowering, manual discharge which means I have to press I to unload combines and grain carts rather than having them unload automatically, terrafarm, increased fuel usage, manual attach, mobile workshop so I can maintain vehicles in the field just like you would in real life, less motor brake force, increased unload time just makes unloading trailers and combines slower to be more in line with real life, field calculator, field lease, enhanced vehicle, and a few mods that alter contracts to allow me to refresh them at will as I find they constantly get stuck or if the contract doesn't match the field state (ie harvest contract on an already harvested field or the wrong header and crop type) as well as allowing me to take more contracts and giving me contracts to supply grain. In the future I may add the twine and netwrap addon to this list plus of course precision farming once it comes out. Personally I really dislike the chopped straw mod as I think 2 fertilizer levels are already too easy and too quick to obtain, I much prefer 3 or more levels to give me more field work and more equipment I can justifiably buy and use. Precision Farming will fix that once it comes out, hopefully with the ability to manage other chemicals too such as phosphorous, potassium, and sulfur in addition to nitrogen.
Again you have to ask the question: "What would FS be like without all these fantastic modders and their mods?" Of course giants improved FS a lot but you have to say that these things are mostly ideas by modders from former FS- parts. So thank you to all the awesome modders out there who make a great job improving FS with scripts or vehicles.😊👍🏻❤
Another excellent video! I agree with 99% of your choices. Still waiting on the simplicity of the follow me mod; apparently not so easy to update for FS 22. The use the contract plus too. Thanks again for all the time and effort put into these productions. Very professional. Have a great day!
I have returned to FS after taking a break since FS 2013. Even back then (10 years ago), Courseplay was the real game changer -- it was the one mod that made large-scale farming possible, and was also *nearly perfect in every regard.* I really hope the developers can restore it in FS22 to its former glory (it's improved significantly in its latest iterations, but still has a long way to go, IMHO).
Oh totally, they are in essence doing a live beta test with it, there are some benefits to that as they get a lot of feedback, but at the same time, it does throw up bugs and missing features which frustrates a lot of players too
Hello, a very good video. I just came a couple of weeks ago to FS22 as my old computer could not run it. Now falling almost immediately on your video will help me a lot. Not that I downlowded all of them (Those making things more realistic, well, I pass. Don't feel offended if you find it is a need. Another person, another way of playing.) But refinding my beloved GPS and Lumberjack: awesome. I'm starting to follow your video's. There might be a lot you can learn me.
Hey, always play the game the way you want too, that's the great thing about FS, pleay realistic or not, whichever helps you enjoy it the most is the best way! and thanks for following me
Thanks for this, looks super helpful! I've played pretty casually for many years but as I am trying to get more into the gameplay I really notice that this game needs quite a few mods for immersion and variety. Will definitely check some of these out.
Well done FSG. Thank you for putting this together - I've been low-key waiting for this ever since you released the 19 version. Nice choices and have already installed many of the ones I didn't already have.
Great list, were a few there that I'm definitely adding to my list to check out! Kinda surprised that you didn't include Terrafarm though, since you've been using it quite a lot with positive comments in your videos 😊
Hello i know i am late but it would mean a lot for a reply . I am purchasing a gaming laptop (Acer Swift X) And am wondering if mods are able to be downloaded on to that?
That Elho mower should be used with tractor that can change driving direction. It's supposed to be back of the tractor for transport and when on field unfold and reverse driving direction. We just don't have many options for that because for some reason Giants didn't bring Valtras to 22 :/
Thanks for the video, very helpful. But I got the repair and maintenance mod and have it selected but the additional settings don't show in the settings menu. Any help would be appreciated.
great work covering this FSG! Glad to see the repair and point mod in the game, before that survival/start from scratch was extremely difficult as the repairs alone emptied the funds.
Only one I didn't have was the damage bar, had one that showed a small hud showing damage on what you were using. But swapped now as that is better. Thanks FSG
One thing if possible any of the modders if they can on the Louisiana map is to implement crawfish farming? I'm just saying because South Louisiana is mostly Marsh and bayou Land?
I'm not sure exactly when the "development controls" mod came out in reference to this video but I find it would almost take the place of lumberjack and power tools as with it you can just simply delete the trees along with switching on and off strong man without having it active all the time.
I could really use a little help. I have installed multiple mods on my pc. However, when I open the game non of them show up. Only Mods installed directly from within the game are available. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm installing, then moving the zip file into my mods folder, but it's just not working.
That is strange Adam, and you are leaving the downloaded ZIP files zipped up and just copying them into your mods folder? Are you sure you are putting it in the right place? Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator22 > Mods
Literally ever mod on console is cross-platform, I just can't live without my top 20 console mods. Couldn't pick 1 or 2 that are available for all editions. Great
If you've never used GPS mod or even if you have you shouldn't use it anymore. VCA (Vehicle Control Addon) IMO is the much more superior choice for steering guidance. Features you can't do in GPS Wopster mod are snap angles down to 1 degree increments, guidance line auto offsets itself to the correct area when you turn your plow to do another lane & the guidance auto snap at 90 degrees so if you are doing a headland and turn the line automatically snaps 90. P.S. It doesn't cost you 15.000 dollars to install it on a tractor either.
Is this worth buying? I have the 2019 version. Only thing I don't like in the 2019 version, vanilla, is the terrain manipulator. I try to flatten or extend out some land and it raises/lowers in ways indont want and no way to revert back.
It’s definitely an improvement on FS19 but the terrain editor is equally as bad, But… there is an awesome mod now called TerraFarm which means you can dig and shape ground with excavators so makes things a bit more fun
Thanks for explaining why these mods don't work on PS4/5. But I really would like to have Lumberjack, Superstrenght, Increase Light Range, Guidance Stearing, Power Tools and Survival Challenge. Is there someone amongst you skillful moders who can solve this? I don't know anything about how to create mods, don't even own a PC.
So unfortunately I need to buy a PC 😃 I knew I'd find a reason for that, someday. Thanks again for the explanation and keep up your work here. I enjoy watching your videos, they give me both joy and inspiration for my FS adventures. May your path be a fortunate and bright way leading you forward.
Thank you for the great info. Some I didn't know about and have not seen in ModHub. If I may ask a question, I got a wonderful mod called Placeable Extended. I can place buildings right up against other building and even inside other buildings. A friend of mine wanted the mod, but could not find it. I went back in and it's not there. Yet I still have it. Do you know if it was removed and if so, why do I still have it?
Do you donwload exclusively from the mod hub or from other sites too? I agree it's not showing up at the moment, so could have temporarily been removed. Once you have the mod however it's downloaded and stored on your PC, that's why you have it and can still use it 👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy I only download mods from Mod Hub only. In FS19 I use to get mods from other sites, but I got viruses, so I stopped. Thank you for your information, it has been very helpful.
For American maps…we need a tornado mod. Destruction of fields and scattering of farm equipment dependant upon the path of a randomly generated tornado. Five sizes to represent the intevsity F1-F5.
hello . first of all nice video i downloaded every one of them . I have a question i was using realistic cab view and with the new update my mod broke , is it the same with you or i just broke the mod
Damage Bar Selection: I found a mod for FS19 that shows the status of the tractor and all implements in percent. It displays in either green, yellow or red. I forget the name of it.
Is there a mod where you are not the only one working on the field? I mean for example on the field that you don't own you can see harvester. I know you can hire ai Worker but only on mine property
My go to mods are: Vehicle inspector, and Enhanced vehicles. Inspector adds a little useful hud that shows where workers are working. What worker is in what equipment(so if worker g is blocked you know what worker g is in) , and the fill status of a vehicle. Such as running the nova the game warns you at 80% and 10 seconds later it's full. With that mod you can see its at 3000l and you know it's close to needing unloading. Along with what's in it. And the speed the object is going. Now enhanced vehicles adds a few great hud features I use the most. Vehicle weight so you know how heavy it is. Bearing so it's easier to keep a straight line when working a field yourself(such as keeping at 90 degrees) . And has vehicle info such as wear, paint wear. It also has a snapping feature for field work. I would look at them if you get the free chance.
@@TheFarmSimGuy another I use on every save I got since I like to start with next to nothing is that little fendnt tractor with the swap body front. 2 of them is the best start since they are not over powered and offer a ton of utility at a pretty cheap price.
So much help with so little disc space, fantastic range of mods unfortunately only for PC and as they say great minds think alike so I already had them all installed, also fools seldom differ 😀 PD:- for some reason I cannot read any of your comments to comments, It only happens on your channel, maybe you replies are set to private I don't know but almost all your videos in the past few months are the same
Thanks Derek, that seems strange on the comments thing, I've not had anyone else mention it, let me ask a few people and see if they are having the same issue
@@TheFarmSimGuy After clicking on the link in the email that lets me know you replied I can now see your replies to comments, very strange as it only happens on your channel
Great vid, as usual. I agree with all these, I use them all, plus a few others. I quite like the field calculator mod, but I can't use it, as I have a 21:9 monitor, which it looks like the mod doesn't support, as it chucks all my menus out of whack!
Thanks again for your hard work here! I'm sure you saw my other comment from your other video, so my question here was for Mod #4, "Repair and Paint Settings", would you mind sharing what you keep your maintenance/paint intervals and costs at in your saves? It appears you go for extremely realistic, just as I do, and you obviously have a lot more time active in the game to see how the costs play out. I play "Start from Scratch" with all hard difficulty settings for my saves, and this is kind of the missing area of what I've researched so far. I'm just wondering what you think is realistic, as I definitely trust your judgment just seeing your content. Please keep up the great work and thanks for interacting so much with your community! It's truly appreciated! :) (EDIT: I saw in the video you had set all the values at 25%, I just want to make sure I'm not making it too easy to be profitable is all. Thanks again!)
I think when it moves out of beta stage, they are still adding functionality in on a regular basis so it could be a while. You cand download and use the latest version by getting it direct from their GitHub page
Hi farmsimguy! as of 2023, do you know if these mods have become available on console (xbox)? *edit; also, on xbox you seem to be able to mow grass earlier. Because it says ready to harvest in an early growth stage of the field...
Hi Guido, unfortunately the majority of these mods are still only for PC due to the fact they use 3rd party scripts. Grass you are able to mow earlier, but you will not get as much as if you wait for it to grow to it's full size
@@TheFarmSimGuy thanks for your reply! But one way or another, the mods that are available on console are either scripted and/or third party. Seems like it's going to be a thing in 2023 version of the game. I guess anything could become possible for consoles as far as mods go 😁
@@guidobosson3332 Yes that's correct, if they are added to the base game for the next verrsion they would be able to work on consoles too, the only thing stopping it now is Microsoft and Sony's policy on not allowing 3rd party scripts on their platforms because of the percieved security risk. IF that ever changes all mods would work on all platforms (within reason)
@@TheFarmSimGuy aha, cool!! Well probably might be a task for ai. Since it's capable of doing such on command. I think if they use it properly they could fish out the faulty or risky files or secure them. Hooray 😁 I'm having a hard time playing the base game (with available mods) on console because of the missing features or fixes some mods provide. For example ai workers won't work properly most of the times. Either it's because they're getting blocked by traffic or they simply just can't reach the destination due to bad driving. Aswell as field work. They suck and don't know where to go if there's imperfections on your field, for example a single line of plowed field can completely screw up the aiworkers field navigation. There's loads more to talk about. I still enjoy the base game. Now that im gradually finding out how farming works 😏
@@TheFarmSimGuy and also, thanks for uploading your videos and making the time to make them ofcourse. They help me and surely others out a lot! Thanks for that!!
The things I don't like about the maintenance and repainting costs are that (a) I shouldn't be spending more money in maintaining my equipment then I am fuel (especially new equipment). (b) a lot of the repair costs should fix the repainting costs on the equipment, because a lot of the things that you're repairing on the implements are going to be replaced with new parts, which have new paint. and finally (c) the rate that the repainting is needed is just ridiculous. Repainting is RARELY done on the farm, and a lot of the tractors look particularly great! It's just a weird system all aropund.
Hi Paul, I’m actually going through the process of setting up a course in the video footage, it shows how it calculates a field course based on the parameters I input and starting the course. But thanks for the feedback I’ll be sure to ensure my voice over is clearer in the future, apologies I’ve been playing for a long time (and with courseplay for a long time) so wrongly assume everyone knows about it 🙁
I stopped using Chopped straw as it was too precise, leaving strange unfertilized areas (for example, using the helios sunflower header, there is a central strip under the hear that gets not residue, niether does it get appliied in the back, this leaves a thin line of unfertilized land up and down the field.) I think it would be better if the mulchers added the fertilizer layer instead of the very minimal 2% yield, this would then make them and the chopped straw work better.
I appreciate the level of effort you go to with the timestamps and links in the description. I had a lot of these but I still picked up one or two from watching it.

P.S. It doesn't cost you 15.000 dollars to install it on a tractor either.
I tried VCA and didn’t like it, but currently really impressed with The Enhanced Vehicle Mod version of GPS it’s very good
Love your videos keep up the great work!!!!
Thanks so much BigRon!!
Is Courseplay and Auto drive on Mod Hub?
No, links are in the description 👍
Thanks for explaining why these mods don't work on PS4/5.
But I really would like to have Lumberjack, Superstrenght, Increase Light Range, Guidance Stearing, Power Tools and Survival Challenge. Is there someone amongst you skillful moders who can solve this?
I don't know anything about how to create mods, don't even own a PC.
It's not a modder solution, it would need Sony and Microsoft to change what they allow on console unfortunately
So unfortunately I need to buy a PC 😃 I knew I'd find a reason for that, someday.
Thanks again for the explanation and keep up your work here. I enjoy watching your videos, they give me both joy and inspiration for my FS adventures.
May your path be a fortunate and bright way leading you forward.
hi great video. what mod manager do you use?
Thanks Paul, I use SCA at the moment
What is this "sleep" you talk of?. Great selection FSG. Oh and because you chose realistic cab view I'll say it again, head tracking lol
I know I know 😂
Nicely done.i really like that
Thank you very much!
There are lots of issues with the new update and some of the mods Giants are doing a fix which should be released soon
@@TheFarmSimGuy thanks for the information
Thanks for the video! Whats the mod that allows you to quickly switch between vehicles as well as sort your vehicles?
FS15 had vegas mod. Is there another version for fs22?
Damage Bar Selection: I found a mod for FS19 that shows the status of the tractor and all implements in percent. It displays in either green, yellow or red. I forget the name of it.
Is there a mod where you are not the only one working on the field? I mean for example on the field that you don't own you can see harvester. I know you can hire ai Worker but only on mine property
No not yet but it is a highly requested update the Community is asking for
@@TheFarmSimGuy ok thx for the answer
Yes I'm abig fan of Enhanced vehicle, I used it religiously in FS19 and I think the improvements they've brought to FS22 are excellent 👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy another I use on every save I got since I like to start with next to nothing is that little fendnt tractor with the swap body front. 2 of them is the best start since they are not over powered and offer a ton of utility at a pretty cheap price.
great video! is the map also a mod?
Thanks, it is, South Louisiana is it’s name 😊👍
great video but i cant get over how smooth and silky your game plays and looks, wondering if you have your pc specs somewhere
Thanks man, got the PC specs in the vid description, I’m running everything maxed out in the game options 👍
Some great tips in here - thx
Glad it was helpful!
And this is why i play Cattle&Crops. It has all this, and more.
So much help with so little disc space, fantastic range of mods unfortunately only for PC and as they say great minds think alike so I already had them all installed, also fools seldom differ 😀
PD:- for some reason I cannot read any of your comments to comments, It only happens on your channel, maybe you replies are set to private I don't know but almost all your videos in the past few months are the same
Thanks Derek, that seems strange on the comments thing, I've not had anyone else mention it, let me ask a few people and see if they are having the same issue
Oh no, that's frustrating, have you tried getting in touch with the modder, he might be able to fix it in a future release
@@TheFarmSimGuy Thanks for replying FSG. Just looking on their site, it seems to be something they're aware of and an update has been submitted. 👍
You sir are a legend 🙏🏼
Too kind Delta! So are you 😊👍
Thanks again for your hard work here!
(EDIT: I saw in the video you had set all the values at 25%, I just want to make sure I'm not making it too easy to be profitable is all. Thanks again!)
Great video. I'm definitely adding some to my list. Is there an update for new mods? Thanks.
Hi, yes there's a long overdue update coming for this vid, stay tuned
Anyone have any idea if / when course play will hit the mod-hub? Loved this in FS19
I think when it moves out of beta stage, they are still adding functionality in on a regular basis so it could be a while. You cand download and use the latest version by getting it direct from their GitHub page
They have the field creator on all platforms now.
Love it. 👍
great video again. 🙂👏
Thank you! Cheers!
thanks bro
My pleasure bud
When i download the mods and put them in my folder they won't work in game. I make sure to check them before i join the game. What am i doing wrong?
Are you keeping them as ZIP files?
Hi which map are you playing there?
Thanks for that!!
what is the name of the in-game mod you are filming
I’m sorry, I’m not quite sure I know what you mean
The last part of the video that you are filming from above what is the name for this mod

Being new to FS22 and probably a bit green, where exactly do I find these mods please 🙏
Hi Trevor, I try where I can with all my videos to put the links in the video description 😊👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy I must be missing something as I can't see any link 🤔

I'm a die hard Case and New Holland guy but there's just something about Fendt man. Lol
I know what you mean!
Are these all in the in-game mod hub?
Hi Chuck, I’ve listed them all in the description, other than Courseplay and Autodrive they are all ModHub mods yes 👍
@@TheFarmSimGuy thanks FSG
The things I don't like about the maintenance and repainting costs are that (a) I shouldn't be spending more money in maintaining my equipment then I am fuel (especially new equipment). (b) a lot of the repair costs should fix the repainting costs on the equipment, because a lot of the things that you're repairing on the implements are going to be replaced with new parts, which have new paint. and finally (c) the rate that the repainting is needed is just ridiculous. Repainting is RARELY done on the farm, and a lot of the tractors look particularly great! It's just a weird system all aropund.
Excellent, just excellent....
mega vid i be using these cheers
great Job ! thank you
Thanks 😊👍
Would’ve been nice to know what course play actually does but maybe that’s just me.
