They changed the game from a farming simulator to a forestry simulator. Farming is not like that, the only source of money is cutting trees. Can you make a series where you can play without cutting down trees?
if you play the game in the regular way it's still farming sim... but if you try to do it the way I do the only way to get money in the start is to use forestry ;)
40% of some farm in my village is forest.
there is such a thing as tree farming for renewable logging wood. you just rotate the plots so each year theres at least one plot ready for felling

Hi, How do you load wood so freely and quickly with a loader? Do you use a pad for this? I'm the one who has huge problems to master it with mouse ;/.

There's a map called "no man's land" and using console commands you can flatten it out and play this as seen if you find the right mods

I'm still waiting for someone doing that kind of video without bullshit.
I mean playing with default settings, hard economy and only official GIANTS content.
And no cheating with mods, obviously.
That being said, I'm not saying my perspective is the best.
But I really can't respect or be impressed by something not relatable.
Me and a friend started from scratch on Elmcreek with hard economy, défauts settings and no mods except those directly made or supported by GIANTS(those on the store and those labeled "by GIANTS Software).
It is a grind, but it's very satisfying to do it without cheesing the system.
come back on sunday ;) a new video will come out without any bullshit, cheap machinery or cheating ;)

Sadly since you started out with absolutely nothing, you lost your hands knocking the first and only tree down on your land… operating that chainsaw you bought was with telekinesis. You eventually made money for new hands.
