New wiring coming soon from www.ceAutoElect...
My old buddy Rob, known him for 30 years, came by and said his fuses kept blowing..and asked if i had a "40 amp" for him. I took one look at his system and knew i had to do something. I fixed him up and got him on the road. I told him, when i have time, i will go through and fix all this stuff for you. It's BAD. REAL Bad. In a funny way. I guess he got it mostly like this. I don't know who is responsible for the bucket o' bass but i HAD to share this with you guys. Make sure to subscribe and hit like if you think i should hook Rob up proper and fix this for him.

Guys, yes, i know, this car isn't as good as YOUR car but it is HIS car and he likes it. So i will fix it for him. I am not going to go crazy on it but it will be nice and proper when i am done. Not a fire hazard and sound good. Follow my Instagram channel to see live video daily as well as early pics way before it hits my YT channel! instagram.com/meade916
meade916 I think its cool as shit that you are fixing it for him. All the people that criticizing his ride, don't! You NEVER know a persons situation. Im looking foward to this build. Keep u p the good work Steve!
I love these videos where you show your talent by taking on problem builds and making it right. Mad skills Meade.
I got a 95 sierra with the same body lol theese trucks dope asf
Your helping out a friend thats all that matters age of the vehicle has no importance friendship does
You're a good buddy man
I appreciate everything you're doing Steve I remember when we were young playing football with our friend Danny R.I.P. teaching ourselves how to do flips in my front yard off the trampoline and then when we got in the high school and we both had Celicas but Steve happen to have a Nintendo hooked up in his ! Lol .. you've always been ahead of the game Steve thank you bro
i'm actually a little further along than what you see...but there is 25 more minutes (about 60 video clips) of the tear down and removal of all the shit we found...this would have been a 40 minute video if i tried to do it right now. I will have the follow up in a couple days. Follow my Instagram channel in the mean time if you wanna see live update feeds as well as pics / clips LONG before they hit this channel. Thanks for watching! instagram.com/meade916
I was looking for part 2 when I realized this was JUST uploaded...
New power wire on the way from the guys at www.ceAutoElectricsupply.com - ordered up some 1/0 replacement and some other accessories today!
I bought the truck like that and I know my boy Steve is going to do it up right!
U should upgrade his Bucket too lol
I love this series. I keep coming back to rewatch the transformation. Goes to show how a quality install can make such a dramatic difference. Very inspiring man!
Major fire Hazzard. Please make this right with a clean install. Friends don't let friends burn up their cars with bad installs. Lol
Still not as bad as the one from years ago that the shitty shop put in the Chevelle.
That is one of the top 5 hoopty's I have ever seen.
this is the type of shit i live for, man this guy has a passion for car audio and somehow blissfully unaware of how tragic his system is. he's gonna flip when it's sorted out! really dig this mini-series
Sup Meade you should do “Pimp my system” series
Can't wait to see how Steve fixes this thing up man
Can't wait to see how good is gonna look AND sound after you finish fixing it
Kudos for looking out for you buddy
Those body style Chevy's had the most comfortable front seats. Like riding around on a really comfortable couch.
I am going to enjoy this. this truck is a good example of what alot of beginning bassheads do when they are learning. yeah, it works, but with proper installation techniques it could be alot better.
Steve you need to build a box that looks like a bucket ... would complete a work truck look ...
Steve Moh have a bunch of paint buckets in the back of a contractors truck for a sleeper base tank
Your the man Steve. Just as you said it might not be new but it is his and he likes it, that is all that matters. glad to see you hooking him up.
That bucket flex is sick!!! Lol!!
Good luck with this build. But you got the skills to make it better . Cant wait to see the end result
That truck gives me anxiety lol. Good luck Steve, I know it's gonna turn out great!
I know it's wrong but that bucket sub is Amazing
Good job Steve helping your bud out. I can't wait to see what you do to it
Nice job steve, everyone Needs a cool friend... Grate job.. Man...
Man, whoever originally did that install wasn’t worried about imaging at all. And I knew a guy that did that bucket of bass thing, so that brought back memories. You’re a good friend man.
there was a similar video series by steve he did a few years ago, his friend had a chevelle that had a horrid install, its in a playlist.
That bucket o bass kills me 😂🔥🤣
The Mesothelioma-mobile...
Russian radar detector seems like he need some pride subs in his truck keep it Russian
This the kind of project I was in town for to help bust this thing out with a new quality underseat box, some door pods and clean functional wiring. Would love to do a series of projects like this with ya bro!
More people need friends like you!! That's cool as shit that you help people out..
I see the shade tree mechanics
did some custom work! Steve your a great guy to help your friend out brother I`m sure he`ll be very thankful
Whoops I spilled your bucket o bass lmao
Ok kids, this is why you don't do meth. Especially when you're wiring your audio system.
I was thinking the same
Time to help dude out for sure!
This system is so creative (in a bad way) that you couldn’t even make this shit up! 🤦♂️ 🤣
Love these videos
You’re awesome friend Steve always helping out
i haVE NEVER SEEN a bucket of bass lol thats
first for me...homemade bazooka...and the cap fuse mod was genius
Wow, what a mess! I can already see a lot of potential there, though! Lookin' forward to this one, Steve. :D
Your an awesome dude helping Bros an all
These types of videos are nice.
I love the bucket o bass it might not sound right but I love it
Steve you a real nicca. Always looking out for the homies ya dig
As much as that truck needs TLC. I love rebuilds like this. Even putting myself through them.
Man I get it.. He likes the truck, but I think a sound system isn't where he should be focusing efforts right now. Get shit like the hood latch under control along with this disastrous wiring first.. Then think about the bumpity bump! It looks like a solid truck otherwise!
Edit: Ah, I gotchya. Rob bought it like this. Right on. You'll get him fixed up, no doubt!
Damn, that bucket-o-bass gets me every time. Lol. Keep the videos coming and I'll keep watching.
That glob of Solder got me!!! Keep up the good work my bro!!!
The last time I saw a sound system like that was in my best friend's Isuzu I-Mark back in the late 80's.
I get guys coming up to me at least once a week with setups as bad or worse than this. Which is ok, most of the time they are new and don't know better. But some still turn a deaf ear to good advice. It's sad sometimes. Good on you for hookin up your friend, man.
Just tuned in..daamn! reminds me of 1980 ish with house speakers lol
Fuses on fuses, a bucket o bass, to romex under the hood oh man I gotta say I got a good laugh out of this first vid 😂 can't wait to see the clean up!! 💪💪
Hey Steve it looks like your in for a big ass headache with this build bro!!! I just want to wish you good luck hope everything comes out looking good and sounding good when your finished bro!!!
I’ve got a 94 Silverado im redoing the system in so im following this build closely.
Personal i love these type of nightmare projects. Give me some insight on things which i should look out for as an amateur sound enthusiast
A Steve is he gonna go back with the same system and you just cleanup his wiring or you changing everything. Thanks for the video footage
It's an original enclosure for the PYLE driver, i think ...
I love these chevys bro
I love a good salvage mission. Cant wait to see the end result. And yes when you were driving it in it did sound like a couple parakeets fighting underneath the hood LOL
Oh that tweeter placement! OUCH
Came from the live Instagram bro! Good morning and happy Friday! Let’s get it!
You are a great friend. Do it up for him man. Just to be funny you should make enclosures that look like that bucket but really hit hard.
I am more than confident with this comment. My 11 year old son could do a way better job than what is there. Work your magic mead. My god.
And that’s a BAD ASS TRUCK!
Oh shit Steve thats one crazy ass install man. I've only seen 1 worse and they had used headphone wires for power and ground (400 watt amp). Looking forward to seeing the finished install.
It looks like someone was having fun during this install. Its so funky its cool a few unsafe things but hey I'm not the safety patrol lol. I can't wait to see the progress video and the finished product SMD style. Peace and Bass :)..
This reminds me of that Chevelle build you did back in 2013 lol
Asbestos poisoning
Lmao
Good luck Steve, I know you'll make the system clean and badass
Came from your live Instagram. Love the videos.
The new bucket challenge :) I have helped friends with similar fire hazard setups. Even though I wore a shirt that read "Friends don't let friends install car audio" HAHA Can't wait to see the safer install.
those Pioneer 3003d4's are SUPER nice budget subs!!! I have one and they are finally ending production after 4 years, 2 of those on 1200 watts in a REAL box slams hard for us mortals
Man this is what I’m talking bout.... that Pyle in the bucket took the cake ... what a bass head will do to get his fix.... bass head fo life !!!!
I love these builds.. and especially this one since my work truck is also an obs 👌🏾
God damn man, how has that truck not burn down to the ground yet!? ......
Steve, You do a lot of redos to your friends. That must cost you time and equipment that you install. Are you doing these for free or are you charging at a discount rate or full price. I am just curious what these types of installs average cost.
i personally dont care how bad the car is... if u come up on ur own workin hard chances are youve driven a vehicle like this one or worse... in my case my old work truck was worse... luckily id never be caught dead doing a wiring job that bad even on some cheap audio... with that said... steve i love these types of vids, one of my favorite series of ur vids is the tear down and re do of the system in that green ss a few years ago... and i would love to see even more of these kinds of vids
Hey Steve are caps even worth it? I got a Rockford on in my basement I might throw in my car
It would be sick if he keeps the bucket enclosure in the same spot after the build. Like make a stealth box for the pioneers so people think the pyle hits like 3 subs lol
I used to use my big toe to change the channel on my TV without having to get up unfortunately I ended up snapping the buttons off inside the case and had to use a screwdriver shoved in through a hole in the speaker after that
They roasting tf outta the homies truck😂😂😂
it's ok, they are all nobody's. Same for the people laughing with them. None of them have a pot to piss in themselves.
I don't know which was worse. This or the Chevelle.
your a great friend sm
Damn bucket of bass . The 6x9s in the door that's just great lol
Saw your live Instagram this morning. I think we've all been there and forgot to charge a device.
should of fiberglassed the inside of the bucket or do a layered mdf setup inside and kept thee bucket after a port kept the pyle but tuned it in a bucked just for shits and giggles
Love your work man. Kick-Ass! Content always 💯.
Looks like fun steve
Literally the 2 cars i have, an Accord and a obs truck 😂 now i have a reference for both trucks so i can upgrade
Steve Steve Steve! from milk shakes to window shakes to head shakes!
Fuckin spaghetti factory with a bucket'o'bass
Love doin rebuild like these
This ought to satisfy my ocd. Looking forward!
Steve, where can I find the song at 7:27? I’ve looked all over for Antheny’s page, I found his insta but can’t find his tracks. I’d like to bump some of his stuff if I can find it!
Wow, now that's serious. I'm aware of some super sketchy builds that I've seen over the years and this is right there with the worst if not more so, but that's not to shit on anyone. At least he's honest enough admit defeat and allow a pro to help him out. Everybody is good at something, this just may not be his spot. Good on you Steve.
Jesus Christ man that was bad last time I seen stuff like that a meth head installed a system in my buddies car lmao
Good luck, if anyone can set him right I know you can. Can't wait to see how it turned out.
Dude has a bullet tweeter about 4 inches from his ear, send him to a hearing DR asap yo!
Make it safe and clean Steve. Id rock that truck any day of the week.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with this.
Friends don't let friends drive a fire hazard.
