Great video Louis. I think I need one of those Colibri lighters, because most of the other brands I have seem to work great for the first few fills, than after that never seem to light. I do use good quality fuel and have always done the purge and invert refill. Your explanation is on-point!
I'd question the fact you said the "original" owners bought it back ? I was in contact with the NEW company .... and they said they had no relationship with the old company ?? ( could be they refuse to HONOR the lifetime warranty of older models ) VERY disappointed since I spend about $130 on a model that is no longer repairable, and the "new" version is $200+
Hey Lewis, Please don't purge directly in front of your face and yes it evaporates immediately. If you prefer, please feel free to wear a mask as they are readily available these days.

When I release the butane does it evaporate immediately after leaving the torch? Should I wear a mask when bleeding so I don’t inhale butane?
