I agreed for the longest time, then I finally purchased the S.T. DuPont Grand Clinge as a celebration present to myself. It was worth every dollar and the long wait!
Recently purchased the Colibri Julius after we chatted from a prev vid, it's my first soft flame and is my go to now. I have to warn to the audience, it needs Colibri's refined butane though
I would add S.T. Dupont isn't premium as well (maybe except their high-end lighters) the rest are made in China. my Defi Xtreme lighter died after less than 2 years of service and my local S.T. Dupont service offered a replacement for 50% of the price. I accepted, then they simply ghosted me. blessing in disguise. I've now switched to cigar matches, I get them free with every cigar purchase, more classy and convenient (less butane bottles and refiling). the two lighters i have which i rarely use for them windy days are Habanos Specialist ones (Zengaz) that were gifted to me, still in great condition.
Got a Julius about a week ago. So far so good. It’s no DuPont, but it seems like it’ll hold up for a long time. I do have a DuPont slim 7, which I love for outdoor lighting. Cheap for a DuPont, but I love that little guy!
Hey, can anyone help. If I visit Cuba, can I buy a couple of boxes of 25 cigars and bring them back to England? Also, how much cheaper are cigars in Cuba say for Cohibas or H. Upmans or Hoyo De Monterreys?
Depends on how you light your cigars. It’s too difficult to say because there are soo many variables. Having said that I will say I was never disappointed with the capacity of this lighter it never went empty just when I needed it. Cost of refills again depends on whether you want to buy expensive or standard stuff.
@@cigarinspector2023 This surly is just a gimmick lol. I looked this video up because I saw one on a website for sale for over 100 euros and couldn’t believe it. I thought let me check out what exactly is so special about it and come to find out you can’t even use this one outdoors 😅😂
Ya but who really wants to spend a 1,000$ on a lighter. I'll take a good 100$ one and $900 worth of cigars

@@MrMathies23 I imagine your right, The ping double flame is really kewl. Maybe one day
I thought about buying a colibri to try a yellow flame but ended up buying a zippo with the yellow flame insert.
I just picked one of these up! I've always held Colibri in high regard. Proud to own this lighter.

I’ve owned three Colibri’s in the past twenty years and every single one stopped working within the first year of owning it.
Damn that sucks man sorry to hear that.

I can’t find flints, I saw that people are using zippo flints. Can I use zippo flints??
I don’t think you can. I just buy regular flints from Amazon. They’re pretty inexpensive.
For some reason I can’t stand the dual flame. I just would like 1 large yellow flame
Why make a review when ur opinion is biased
All reviews are biased.
Seemed like a very balanced review to me.
Tnx for the review.was thinking about getting one,but after this video, not gonna happen!do u have any information on sarome lighters?
One of my favorite lighters, love it

You can bring back 50 cigars without any requirement to declare them. Be sure to check the Uk government site before travelling.
He is right. If you are coming back from abroad you can bring back a certain amount of a tobbaco product in this case 50 cigars, completely tax free
Please advise on the butane consumption as to how many cigars before a refill for each lighters and cost defferential of reills.
Think you

75 pounds and can't even use it outdoors. Anyone who pays this much money for this product is truly insane and not mentally healthy.
Don't look up the prices for Dupont lighters then :P.
