    Does the price really justify buying ? Over a f2160 ?

    • @organdonor1962

      The Epson SC-F2160 is perfect for smaller operators but anyone looking for a commercial grade, high output printer the SC-F3000 offers more economical print due to the 1.5ltr bulk delivery system. A typical print file that would take three minutes on the F2160 would be completed in under 60 seconds on the F3000.

      @GJSAustralia  3 года назад

      Absolutely. The two machines are designed for very different customers. The F2160 is great for anyone getting started in DTG printing, or those with a kiosk set-up that may not be printing all day every day. The F3000 is a dedicated high-production machine, with faster print speeds and significantly reduced cost-per-print as it is using the large 1.5l bulk-ink system.

      I’m printing on average 500 per day but demand has increased over the last 2 months as I’ve added another product, I just can’t decide between this, or a dtg digital m6 or qm8 I’m currently using 4 F2100 but the maintenance is a headache and I just want to have 1 machine instead of running 4

      @@GaryTaylorvw Also remember that there's inherent redundancies in having multiple machines. If you only have one, if it is offline, your whole production stops. Sounds like what might be beneficial for yourself is keeping at least one of your F2100's and having one (or two) faster machines to keep up with your increased production, whilst still keeping within the Epson ecosystem for parts, service etc.

    How much ink is wasted per cleaning cycle?

    • @GJSAustralia
      @GJSAustralia  3 года назад

      Hey Arpit! Great question! Epson keep the exact amount a closely guarded secret, but from our experience with the machine, and given it is built for high production and low TCO, the amount of ink used during the cleaning cycle we've found is quite minimal. Hope this somewhat answers your question?

      @@GJSAustralia Is it correct that maintenance cost will be high due to two print heads?

    • @GJSAustralia
      @GJSAustralia  3 года назад

      @@TheArpits Not necessarily. Because this is a dedicated high-production machine, it has been designed specifically to minimise ink wastage (accounting for the dual print heads) thanks to the bulk ink system vs. traditional cartridge systems.

      @@TheAtomicSynth the only thing that sucks is that the inks are still expensive for f2100 . i broke down the price of ink on this f3070 and a 600ml would cost $90/95 dollars while f2100 inks cost $217 for the same 600ml i think thats ridiculous considering the fact that all f2100 owners deserve this price break since epson did make all their money off of the f2000s and f2100s. They are pretty grimy for that! and im sure most f2100 owners cannot afford this $50k priced f3070 but print wise it is quick. i just hope they fixed the fact that you cannot print shirts from a far height distance like brother gtx. you could put a zip sweater on a regular gtx platen without it being grooved and the gtx still prints flawless....try that with a epson dtg and nope! it will set off the sensor every time and to me time is money and that is one huge flaw they need to perfect! imo
