Why do I seem to love failures so much? Happens in grocery stores too. I just get to liking something then poof.... it's gone. Liked the onion nuggets, Frings and the McDLT. Really liked the veal parmy and the omelet sandwich. Loved the Ribwich... sorry.. McRib, and absolutely crazy about the McPizza. To this very day, I keep hoping they'll bring it back.
I remember those. I’m from California, but I was in Boston on vacation and came across that sandwich. I just couldn’t pass that up. To my Southern California palate, It was a decent sandwich.
@@jaredbaratono897 Yeah, right!?!?!? Even if they charged a bit more for it, I would have gone there often. Salad. Tacos. Spaghetti. Best fast food meal ever.
The McRib and McPizza Arch Deluxe were fucking amazing and I wish they came back permanently. RIP Supersize option, even though I don't really eat that kinda stuff anymore I'd indulge now and then, if they came back. BTW Harvey's still sells Frings and they sell very well here.
What are we older Mashed fans, chopped liver? I so wanted to find out if there was a fast food fail (or any kind of food fail) from 1958, the year I was born!
@@markgolden504 McDonald's was certainly around by the mid-1950s, and definitely by the time I was born in 1958. (Although I probably wasn't in the same state as a McDonald's until the following year, when Dad finished his hitch in the Navy, and our family moved from Hawaii to California just before my brother was born.)
I don't care what anyone says, Frings are a GREAT idea for when you can't decide, and someone who offers both *coughbkcough* should offer them at least as a promotion.
The MdD’s salad in a cup was ridiculous. Has one - it was packed so,tight with lettuce, etc. thst it never would actually shake the dressing. I ended up using a bowl. M
love this list! I have a very curious question. Every video about Fast Food Fails has Arch Delux listed. How much did Mcdonald's charge for this delicious-sounding mouth candy? Dijon Mustard (Obama's Favorite condiment) and Bacon (America's favorite topping if you have a high BMI) sound like a blessed combo. I'm beyond curious about the price point compared to Quarter Pounders or various Macs - big, small and medium.
did anyone else look up not just their year but also their siblings to see who had the best option? I did and I'd say I won with the BK dinner baskets. I can't even see that as a fail anyway, that sounds awesome.
There are still a few Taco Bell items from way back in the 1960’s. I know they were around when I was in high school (graduated in 1965) and I’m still eating at Taco Bell today - same tacos when they were 19cents each - now sell for about $1.79 each!!!!!!
I wanna try that giant omelet sandwich it looks freakin good. The McDonalds pizza was amazing in my childhood. Was it just because I was a dumb kid? Probably, but still I would love to try it again.
I used to Super Size my McD meal and could feed myself and my two young daughters. The fat people ruined it for us and for soo many other RESPONSIBLE adults living on a very tight budget..!
I want the Toco salad back at Toco Bell it was awesome I do not know why they took it off the menu That is what made me stop eating at Toco bell. But there are some stupid people out there that think it is not good for ya and that is a bunch of Bullarkey .......lol
@@will.a.benjamin don't go to fast food shops then, make your own food and don't watch these videos. don't want you to get nightmares in your sleep you precious little snowflake.

Do you think any of these deserve a second chance?
Wtf does Christian Science Monitor have to do with food or anything
me: please don't include the Mcrib, please don't i miss that so much...
you: we included the Mcrib
me: LET'S FIGHT!
I might like to see the Onion Nuggets again. Never knew they were even around back them!!!

Onion rings and fries are awesome. I eat mine that way all the time
In Boston we had the McLobster. It was a lobster roll from a fast food restaurant.
Atlantic Canada too. My mother loves them. High point of her summer, for some reason.
I remember those. I’m from California, but I was in Boston on vacation and came across that sandwich. I just couldn’t pass that up. To my Southern California palate, It was a decent sandwich.
The McDLT was pretty much the only McD’s burger I could ever eat.
I loved the Veal and Cheese and still love the McRib..
I feel like Jason Alexander is now more famous for the McDLT ad than Seinfeld
The McDonald's McDLT and chicken fajitas were good, though.
I remember eating the enormous omelet sandwich when I was younger, my parents hated it but I loved it! I wish they'd bring it back
It was delicious 😋
The messed up think is they still have all the ingredients to make it
The McRib keeps coming back after you eat it too.
cos you want another one?
Wendy’s SuperBar was da bomb. Totally great and tasty.
When this went away, I almost never ate Wendy’s anymore. All you could eat chili cheese tacos? Was my favorite.
@@jaredbaratono897 Yeah, right!?!?!? Even if they charged a bit more for it, I would have gone there often. Salad. Tacos. Spaghetti. Best fast food meal ever.
I missed the SuperBar at Wendy’s. They had one at the location in Laredo.
That chopped beefsteak sandwich was the joint!!!!

Onion nuggets should come back as a vegetarian option.
Oh… I remember FRINGS from Jack N The Box but I was like in 1985 when I was 5? I swear I remember them?!
I remember the Wendy’s in my hometown had a Superbar when I was really young. I thought it was such a treat to go out and eat there.
Harvey's a Canadian burger chain has been selling "frings" for years.
too bad the onion nuggets or fish Mcbites aren't still around. would def order them
I miss the super bar, it was good in my area and they kept it fresh.
I guess there were no food fails before 1978.
I don't care what anyone says, Frings are a GREAT idea for when you can't decide, and someone who offers both *coughbkcough* should offer them at least as a promotion.
I had my 7th or 8th birthday at a Canadian McDonald's in the mid '90s, and we had the McPizza as a birthday meal option!!
Miss the old Wendy’s salad bar
Oh, yes! I miss that too!!!!!
I’d totally buy the Onion Nuggets, basically a nugget version of an Onion Ring.
I remember the Veal Parmesan sandwich.
Dq needs to bring the breezes everywhere starting next year asap
I was born in 1990 and I love DQ! I would try the Breeze, but I love me a good Blizzard

Ooooo...didn't know about onion nuggets, but sounds good to me!
My fat 17 year old self misses the omelette sandwich from BK.
Mc’s fajitas were 🔥🔥🔥
They should bring back burger bundles
Frings are a staple from Runza in the Midwest.
I loved Mc DLT
I liked the Arch Deluxe.

Wendy’s, hands down!

The McD Sausage breakfast burrito was delicious. 🌯

I wish McDonald's would bring back the McDLT. Those things were delicious!
McSpaghetti is only avaiable in the Philippines because it's going up against Jollibee's Jolly Spaghetti.
Burger King kind of bought back table service they’ll bring there burger and fries but nothing fancy.
Why no 2009?
Nice I were born in Enormous Omelet Sandwich is discontinued.
I loved the McRib and craved it when I was pregnant with my son. 😂
Onion tots are delicious.
If I was born in 1988? I graduated high school in 87. SMH
There's BurgerFi cry&fry which is basically frings
I have actually been in the Border Bell.

With they bring the piotzo back
McSpaghetti - that's new to me! Given that McD largely appealed to kids in those days, the sauce probably had no oregano or garlic.
1994 next please

Absolutely! The original Taco Salad was fabulous. I dint have a clue why the powers that be changed it but it’s just not the same and not as good!
I never understood the fandom of the McRib. I've had one or two in my life and was pretty unimpressed.
