  • Cheese from a can. Spaghetti from a spoon. And yogurt on the go. We all can admit that convenience and junk food go hand in hand. So let's take a walk down memory lane… or the grocery aisle.

I dunno, I think the Garfield fruit snacks (with Binky the Clown pieces) & Sharks fruit snacks of the 90s had Scooby Doo beat

KFC damn sure isn't cheap any longer. Prices so high, I give it a pass. I can fry chicken at home for less than 1/2 KFC charges, with a good copycat of their 11 herbs and spices.

KFC is junk food? Is that what you call fried chicken at home?

KFC is junk food, its literally soaked in a vinegar, salt, sugar brine before being tossed with the flour and seasonings. It's the sugars that really makes KFC junk food plus it's fried. But I still love to eat it on occasion too, the grilled chicken and biscuits...with honey, no butter.

It's just not the same thing as cutting up some chicken meat and frying it up yourself. At home you've typically got some good, fresh chicken and some clean new oil, in contrast to the frozen chicken, and re-used oil. I've worked in fast food before too, we don't switch out those oil basins often...
