Have to say after listening to your points I have to agree, I've only played SR1-3 (extensively), I would've said the Hollywood personally, but after hering your points it's hard to deny the Attrazione (Pronounced a-trat-zie-own-eh) as the most iconic car in the series
I would've said the Quota, but I guess that's technically a trike since it only has three wheels, so I'd have to say either the Capshaw, Komodo or Varsity just because I remember them being everywhere in SR2 and that's the most iconic game in the franchise imo.
Supercars, Attrazione from always being the fastest car. Muscle, Bootlegger from being a staple for the Saints and classic design. 2-doors, the Nelson in SR1 and 2 for being the Saints' gang car later on in the former. 4-doors, Voxel in the name of Lin. Motorcycles, the Kaneda from being one hell of an Akira reference with performance to back it up. Helicopters, easily the Tornado and for aircraft the F-69 VTOL from being featured in notable missions and activities. (And a Better Life and Convoy Decoy)
I think for me it's the Compton, my favorite was always the Bootlegger, but the Compton was the star in the original artwork, was a default Saints gang car and was the quintessential 64' Impala made famous in so many Hood' films.
Sr1 is one of the few 7th gen titles to not rely on bloom or piss filters found in practically every single game at the time. It's also one of the few games that don't use baked shadows and lighting, but uses shadow maps for EVERY SINGLE light source, hence the poor performance on the xb360.
Yeah I literally just finished replaying SR1 a few days ago, and sure the graphics are dated but it's still got a nice art style. I actually prefer its more vibrant colours over SR2's white haze.
A note about the RayCaster is when you arrive at the Airport in Dex's version during the cutscene it uses the same engine audio file used for the R34 GTR from 2F2F
For me, the Bootlegger will always be the best. It's fast, yet still maneuverable. And having no history with any specific character makes it even more perfect as it is a spectacular choice for the Boss' personal vehicle.
Even Agents Of Mayhem had Saints Row vehicles, and the Attrazione was the fastest car in that game like it is in the saints row games. I’m quite fond of the familiarity in the vehicle selection.
Btw, I agree on Attrazione. I remember it was the first car that I wanted in SR-1 back in 2007, moreover I liked to farm it on Demo Derby mission. Oh god, memories kicked in, SR-1 for its' time, its' night vibe, the atmosphere...no other SR, nor GTA could ever match that feeling. Yes, this preeching is over
Wish you included the Compton, i know it was only featured in the first 2 saints rows (and an xmas version in sr4), but it is the first car you're instructed by the game to drive, and it is the perfect low-rider for the gangster theme of the first 2 games.
Hammerhead. That was the only car i could steal and win races in, and i would always go out and steal one to keep it the same style throughout the games, that had the hammerhead at least

if you included other types of vehicles i would say de x-2 phantom is the most iconic, it might be a sr3 thing, but the bike looks REALLY good and it's really easy to identify.
When I think Saints Row cars... I think of The Bootlegger. The Capshaw. The Compton and the Superiore. Those are my icons of the series. And honestly the regular taxi cab too come to think of it. Simple but classic.
The Five 0 and FBI SUV were my favourite vehicles in Saints Row 1 and 2 they were my go to vehicles because of the amount of police and swat chases I've had with them in game
honestly it's hard to remember 90% of the cars in saints row becasue the driving in those games is just not that good. that might change if it has improved in Saints Row 5 if a car handles well enough that you actively seek it out and it has a specific spawn you can always go to to grab it then it'll become iconic. like the Sultan RS in GTA IV, everyone who played GTA IV could tell you where to get that car purely from memory there's also Cyberpunk 2077's caliburn Just Cause 3's Verdeleon and The getaway's Lotus Evora concept car

I would say you can't make it one car in the entire series considering how much cars were left out in other entries (which is in my opinion is a bad choice, I like it more in GTA, specifically in old trilogy, where many cars returned). But if I go with cars I associate the game, that the list would look like this: In Saints Row 1 it has to be Compton Saints Row 2 - it's any gang car, really, but I would go with Atlasbreaker. The raycaster will always be the iconic car for me, at first I didn’t like it as much as the attrazione and superiore but ever since I saw Dex’s raycaster, the car grew on me a lot and I find it more fun to drive than the attrazione and superiore, probably cause I would crash everytime I take off 😂. But to me the raycaster is my favorite and it is the iconic to me. I see it as the Banshee of saintsrow.

Idk if I agree, but I didn’t really have an answer lol. I will say however, that the special Attriazone you get in SR1 from either the races or hitman missions, that’s orange with a carbon fiber hood, sticks out to me and made me realize tangerine orange looks great on a super car. Also coming back to these older games, gta included, with my more expansive knowledge of cars than I had as a kid is a lot more fun lol.
personally i like the Newman, dress-up as a mailman and terrorize the neighborhood or the Quota in sr3 i like the Halberd, Knoxville, Kayak, VTOLs, and the Kenshin
For me personally, I love the Danville, Zenith, Alaskan, Superiore, Hayate Z20, Wakizashi, Kenshin, Tetsuo, Melbourne, FBI, Churchill, Quasar (I'm still dismayed over its rarity in SR2), Torch, Cavallaro, Vegas, Ricochet, Traxx Master, Destiny, Blade, Justice and Baron.
Although it may be a little slow my favorite car would be the voyage which is based on a Chevrolet Astro van I mean it's got all kinds of cool mods in Saints Row 2
For sure the stiletto. It was my go to car in any game I’d find it. It’s appeared in most the saints rows but except for 3, and agents of mayhem. It’s rare, but obtainable in sr4. The customization for it is beautiful. How common it was at first was legendary. I just hope it returns in the reboot like most the other cars returning from the previous saints rows. Stiletto will always be goated and my fav of all time:)
I really love the Superiore (f in the chat because it is only present in SR 2), but BY FAR the Attrazione is the most iconic car of all times in the game. Very fast, very pretty, fancy and it is in all of the games. Couldn't be happier that it is making a comeback in SR 2022. Don't know what I would be without being able to use it in the new game lol
Wraith and The Peacekeeper, mostly the Peacekeeper/Five-0 since it's a 4 door with a Siren and it's pretty fast, common and customizable, unlike the police vehicles in GTA.

The Phoenix is the Quintessential car to me in SR. It looks the best in purple, has a great sounding engine and is handles like a dream.

You can win every race in SR1 in an FBI van.
Five-0 is great for the pimping diversion because it's durable, fast, and easy to obtain

Although it may be a little slow my favorite car would be the voyage which is based on a Chevrolet Astro van I mean it's got all kinds of cool mods in Saints Row 2
My favorite car in Saints row 2 was the La Fuerza, (the El Camino look alike) i missed it in SR3, 4, and in the Saints Row reboot. 😔

For sure the stiletto. It was my go to car in any game I’d find it. It’s appeared in most the saints rows but except for 3, and agents of mayhem. It’s rare, but obtainable in sr4. The customization for it is beautiful. How common it was at first was legendary. I just hope it returns in the reboot like most the other cars returning from the previous saints rows. Stiletto will always be goated and my fav of all time:)

Bootlegger is my personal favorite, because it reminds me of a charger. Paint it orange with a big number one on the sides ;)

If the Attrazione wasn't an iconic car, I wouldn't had painted my Zentorno in GTA Online, like the Price's Attrazione . Such a wonderful car.

I really love the Superiore (f in the chat because it is only present in SR 2), but BY FAR the Attrazione is the most iconic car of all times in the game. Very fast, very pretty, fancy and it is in all of the games. Couldn't be happier that it is making a comeback in SR 2022. Don't know what I would be without being able to use it in the new game lol

Wraith and The Peacekeeper, mostly the Peacekeeper/Five-0 since it's a 4 door with a Siren and it's pretty fast, common and customizable, unlike the police vehicles in GTA.
