Absolute missed opportunity not having a room where you're suspended on copper grates above lava while breezes and strays shoot at you
That would be a pretty ominous room. Maybe in a future update or in a different structure?
Woah woah woah.. get help bro wtf
i feel like this would be too hard for newer players but this sounds like a really good idea, if there was a custom trial chamber i would think this is perfect
@@brycel6661 im pretty sure the entire trial chamber is too hard for new players
Sounds like a great way to punish some naive 12 year old newbies :P
I really wish they would make the entrances exposed in caves. Not all of them have to be, but you should at least be able to stumble upon one while exploring a cave. It just feels wrong to break into a trial chamber from a random direction and not in a room with beds.
Exactly
I really like the trial chambers, because I feel like its a step towards more exploration being added into the game as opposed to having to spend hours transporting villagers.
Yeah we need more dungeons in Minecraft! I’d rather get mending through loot chest in a massive underground dungeon filled with challenges than to breed boring villagers.
Or spending ages getting a Sniffer.
Or the impossible to get froglight
@@jameswesten2018piglin heads 😭
Might as well play other game, this goes against everything Minecraft is...
I think the entrances should be entrances that you could find already inside the caves not the surface, like just a random cooper entrance on a random cave wall (or floor since there are also ceiling entrances) and you can enter a trial chamber through that entrance instead of having to randomly mine dig until you find one of them, I think it would be way better for exploration and not so boring
It really seems like a missed opportunity. Without a cave entrance it's going to be really hard to find a chamber underground because people don't strip mine as much as they used to.
I feel like there should be a little staircase behind the ‘vault doors’ but maybe it only goes up 10 or 12 blocks
That would honestly make more lore sense as you could surmise that the rest of the staircase got caved in or something PLUS it would give us more way to dig into it
We need long natural staircases leading from the entrances to a nearby open space. Be it cave or the surface.
I’d say a cave. Imagine going mining and coming across a massive dungeon. That would be awesome.
I love the trial chambers, it really reminds me of Zelda dungeons! 1.21 is the best update since caves and cliffs imo
It sounds like you're referring to a couple of different things here.
Firstly, the **trial chambers** you mentioned could be related to the **Tricky Trials Update** in Minecraft³. This update is known for its sprawling trial chambers that offer a unique and adventurous experience³.
Secondly, **Mako Mermaids** is a popular television series, but it doesn't seem to have a direct connection with Minecraft or its updates.
Lastly, the **1.21 Update Aquatic** is a major update for Minecraft that was released in 2018². This update, also known as the **Aquatic Update**, revamped the oceans in Minecraft, adding a vibrant new world beneath the surface, full of marine life, new mobs, and colorful scenery¹². It's considered one of the biggest updates to Minecraft's oceans¹².
It seems like you're enjoying the combination of these elements! If you have any specific questions or need help with something, feel free to ask! 😊
Imagine what they could do parkour dungeon wise if the included a polished version of the grappling hook from the poisinous potato update. Especially when combined with the wind charge. Zelda, Terraria, you name it, anyways it would be *wild.*
@@sizanogreen9900 it’s different
@@sizanogreen9900 that would be awesome. Maybe it could be in the end, where if you fall, you are doomed. But the reward (grapple hook) would be worth it.
"1.21 is the best update since caves and cliffs imo"
Because it was one update spread to four mid ones
12:47 Cactus doesn't need water nearby, you're thinking of sugar cane lol.
There should be a room in the trial chamber call art gallery with the new paintings you can walk through to secret rooms, chests, and more trial spawners
that Egyptian
I think the entrance is just there to provide players a way to make their own entrance for when they want to come back
This reminded me of the time where I was trying to look at if there were any secrets when I saw this for the first time. I did find one with drip stones underneath a breeze battleground, but I think it was already discovered.
And Sponge too
I think it would be cool if the entrance was connected to a mine shaft. Just imagine exploring a mine shaft, going around a corner and seeing a big copper vault door at the end of the tunnel. It would also make sense lore wise, as if the people digging the mine shaft were looking for it, or maybe the mine shaft was used to build the trial chamber in the first place.
Genius
Entrance is probably the most disappointing part of the structure to be honest we all thought it would go somewhere interesting
I’m hoping for more, a better entrance to it will be great. Right now you have to mine down, boring.
I’m guessing they’ll try to generate on cave walls or something.
Yah
I want there to be a defined entrance
I’ve always thought that the entrance should be connected to the stronghold in a secret room. Wouldn’t that be cool?
The Trial Chambers is probably one of my favorite recent structures!
I hope the entrance room leads to something at some point at least.
I think that secret 3x3 room in the entrance rooms is so that if it spawns exposed in a cave, players will see it as an entrance and be more inclined to mine in through there instead of through a random wall.
Hey toycat, a new mod called “Legacy4J” and its related Modpack “Re-Console” just came out recently! It aims to recreate the legacy console experience as accurately as possible. You should cover it!
i think there should be a clear way to get it i wish they would make it where the entrance room isnt covered
this is going to be the most fun new structure in a while for sure
Probably the most polished one too. I kinda wish that the wild update only focused on ancient cities as there was a TON of really interesting ideas they had to scrap.
A new video from the og toycat! Lets go!
The existence of the entrance rooms also probably have to do with how the structure is generated using jigsaw blocks.
Maybe the "entrance door" is there so that you as a player can add your own entrance to have an easier access to the trial chambers, since they're reusable
the entrance rooms are probably just supposed to be safe places, and the doors are most likely just for lore
7:54 fun fact: I think that chest uses the vault loot table because I’ve found the precipice music disc and ominous bottles in there.
I’ve seen keys and armor trims in them too
The Trial Chambers structure from the inside is absolutely amazing! I would wanna make customized versions of many rooms. 😲🤘🏻🔥
I like what CraftyMasterman did with the door, having it work as a three by three door, and having it be exposed to caves, not the surface.
I think the first of your videos I've watched was in July of 2018: 10 Real Uses for Gravel. Come a long way since then.
Just have the vault door connect to a cave. It doesn't have to go to the surface. Mojang use your brain🤦
what if there is no cave?
@@hhff8534 _Then make a cave._
@hhff8534 even a *really tiny* cave like the ones outside geodes would be better than the entrance holes we have now.
@@venomousfrog5546 exactly just a little noodle cave
I’d say that trial chambers should try to generate next to caves like how dungeons do. And there being a little outdoor area that connects with the trial chamber entrance.
Absolute amazing that there is another way to get green dye, it be stupid hard if you don't spawn near a desert. Now I'm just waiting on another way for brown dye.
I think the giant “G” is maybe supposed to be a version of the symbol on the “Flow” banners, pottery shreds, and armor trims.
You should play hardcore trial chamber only!
Honestly, a trial chamber survival sound a good idea to you try out!
I think that perhaps the entrance room is more where ancient people entered and sealed in the mobs in the trial chamber rather than a formal entrance the player is supposed to go through
I think the random missing block in the ceiling thing is at this point trolling those who want the pillager outpost symmetry fixed - “nah it’s a minor aesthetic thing barely anyone notices - stop nitpicking our work!”
i dont get why they dont just have small cave tunnels generate outside of the entrances that have a high chance to connect to other bigger caves? Theyre still buried underground and it gives you the chance to discover the chambers from the entrance rather than a random point, and makes the entrances make sense
i dont see any downside to that ngl
Oh i just had a great idea for a survival challenge
Make a superflat and spawn like 20 random trial chambers next to one another "or have a friend do it for you so you will be completely blind as to what you will get" and then attempt to try a full survival hardcore without going out of the chambers... The goal can be loot all vaults or well most vaults and ominous vaults
I like the idea that you can get nature blocks/items in the trial chambers, some random world gen seeds are just brutal with certain nature seeds
King Tut
I would have had that entrance connect to a filled-in buried tower like the Trail Ruins towers except with tuff blocks instead of terracotta. There would be a limited number of sus blocks with some low level armor and weapons so anyone coming across this protrusion at the surface at the very start of the game would be minimally prepped for non-ominous combat in the chamber before doing having to do anything in their world. And before anyone thinks it would make the Trial Chambers too easy to find, I'll just put out there in the last two new worlds I started I have yet to come across a Trail Ruins structure protrustion, lol.
i wished that they would create a redstone door from the vaults and such, then maybe a spiral or ladder tower to the surface that way these chambers would be easier to find with or without the map
I think the entrances should have a chance to spawn a little area with some loot that looks like it was an underground entrance in a cave that caved in or whatever.
The 'Entrance' in the Trial Chambers is like the 'Portal' in Ancient Cities. It exists, but nothing will come from it. That's my prediction.
So exited for 1.12!
I think it would be cool if there was a chance for one or more of the entrances to open up into a cave.
Okay think about it, this trails chamber has kept slaves, hence the beds plus the missing block in the roof resembling someone trying to escape.
Maybe the entrance room is for…you know…Building an easier Entrance to a structure that you are supposed to want to come back to.
It's interesting that the **Tricky Chambers** in Minecraft remind you of **Ancient Egyptian** architecture or culture. The Tricky Trials Update in Minecraft introduces the **trial chambers**, which are sprawling structures filled with traps, trial spawners, mobs, and treasure¹². These chambers are procedurally generated, offering a new challenge every time you venture into them².
The connection you're making could be due to the design of these chambers, the sense of exploration they provide, or the challenges they present, which might be reminiscent of exploring ancient Egyptian pyramids or tombs. Ancient Egyptian structures are known for their complex designs, hidden chambers, and traps, much like the trial chambers in Minecraft¹².
However, it's important to note that the Minecraft developers haven't officially stated that the trial chambers were inspired by Ancient Egyptian architecture or culture. The interpretation can vary among players, and it's one of the beautiful aspects of games like Minecraft that allow for such diverse interpretations and experiences. 😊
It seems like you're combining elements from the **House of Anubis**, a popular Nickelodeon series, and the **Tricky Trials Update** in Minecraft, which features the **trial chambers**¹.
In Minecraft, the Tricky Trials Update introduces the trial chambers, which are sprawling structures filled with traps, trial spawners, mobs, and treasure¹. These chambers are procedurally generated, offering a new challenge every time you venture into them¹.
On the other hand, the House of Anubis is a television series that revolves around a group of teenagers who live together in Anubis House (named after the Egyptian god, Anubis), an early 1900s-era building that serves as a boarding house for an elite boarding school in the United Kingdom².
If you're looking to recreate the House of Anubis within Minecraft, there are many resources available, including a Minecraft map of the House of Anubis². This could potentially be combined with the trial chambers from the Tricky Trials Update for a unique gameplay experience.
However, please note that these are two separate entities and there's no official connection between the House of Anubis and the Tricky Trials Update in Minecraft. But that's the beauty of Minecraft - you can combine elements from different sources to create your own unique world! 😊
I think they should make it more likely that trial chambers will generate near caves (not in) and they have a hall or something going to the vault.
It's strange that theyre doing these weird things but don't revamp the older structures, like the dungeon, the jungle temple, etc
13:25 I think that room is meant to have had a water stream in the past.
The trial chambers needs a BOSS FIGHT!
14:06 its a wind mural thing, but who knows?
That was a clutch save when you got pushed out into the ravine.
9:09
Why does this part remind me of that place on the Death Star where you could see the laser beam and there were 2 guys?
ENTRANCE to the boss room 😆
I think the idea of adding Entrances even for an Underground structure, even that you're more likely to not use nor see is a beautiful touch tbh, Like How in the actual heck did the builders of the structure leave and enter the structure without a proper entrace?
Sure the designer told us that we can enter anywhere but having an entrace is nice, to give more character to it, Pretty much like how Strongholds are with their Winding Staircase Entrance
Its a shame seeds bigsalmon1 through bigsalmon72 didnt have any trial chambers near spawn
The entrance doors might be where previous occupants blocked or sealed the entrance/exits so the monsters can't get out?
I think there should be a little entrance on the surface like an igloo does
I'm not sure what you call entrances really are that. If only because on each chamber I've found there's an alternate way in that doesn't require digging through that special middle copper block. If they really are an entrance, then it's likely to somewhere which is to be added in a future update.
I got the mace on Minecraft bedrock edition on hardcore
Trial chamber challange: Beat it by using only the cacti as your weapon.
I would really like for there to be a DEFINED entrance
They might be a boss room and waiting for the full update
Best end to a video ever
I think the Entrance Rooms are for a future room.
you should do a video on the new legacy console mod for java, its proper close
I wish, the entrance were a piston door (like some RUclipsr proposed at April first)
What about 1 copper bulb on the surface similar to the flowering azalea tree to show lush caves...
Isn't the entrance simply where the game begins generation of the chambers? There's probably nothing more to it, though I think they're useful as places to come into the structure and as a place to retreat to and rest and/or stash loot. It's a bit annoying if they've removed the bed, because it was useful to set a respawn point there. And cactus in the entrance is useless, because the tree at least gives the player wood to make stuff.
I got the exact seed as you with the mineshaft trial chamber 😭
I think that the "G" is just a swirl to represent the Breeze
Ballz
I thought that it would be so that every biome the structure spawns in. Is the tree that is in the entrace
Having the entrances be fully enclosed in blocks encourages strip mining, which makes no sense really. If they had a small cave tunnel attached to the entrance that can link to bigger caves it would encourage exploring the caves and cliffs caves and possibly discovering them. Encouraging strip mining instead makes no sense cause its more boring and discourages exploring the new big caves, seems very counterproductive how it is?
It’s easier to find them through caves since you’ll see the shape of it covered up so u can check if it’s a chamber or not
Question for next Q&A Saturday: Do people actually subscribe to the $49.99 a month subscription option to your channel? More power to ya if they do, but that seems like a lot for unreleased footage access, lol
They referenced the update from the bible, Trials and Tribulations.
Still waiting for the trial chambers to have a proper entrance
I think the 3x1 space in the entrance room is supposed to lead into caves
People coping on the surface entrance dont realize it has died the moment trial chamber maps were added
The second entrance makes me think that the entrance should have water for a boat or a minecart.
Programming the chest to match the biome actually sucks, you miss out on other loot for the sake of moss which is presumably very nearby anyway
Amazing
They are always bugged and not connected
At least for me..
The G obviously stands for Gminecraft
The heck ever happened to the 3x3 piston door?
Yes
When is this update supposed to come out?
Toycat a bit radaom but can u make a tourial o n flying machidne cause when ever i try it gos back an foruth
the way he died in lava at the end of the video, LOL
I swear there was a redstone entrance door?!!
Nevermind that was an April fools video
It was in a snapshot that accidentally released on April 1st instead of the April Fools update.
The "entrances" are just suggestions
