I find the way they've implemented the trial chambers pretty awesome! Really excited to see what else Mojang will do alongside them... also pretty interested in how the chambers align with the rest of Minecraft lore...

Honestly, the trial rooms remind me of Fallout vaults, lol. Plus, it’s so rad, these trial chambers feel like a foil to the issue of everything being looted when you enter a new public server. Now you can just go through a trial chamber and get more loot every time, instead of picking over scraps. 8:16 yep, definitely like Fallout Vaults

I might be wrong but I think the room you stumbled into might have been really difficult because you have OP gear, when PhoenixSC tried the trial chambers out he went with just iron armor and it seemed way more tame

Oh interesting. I don't think they scale with gear, but it might have just been that the one I found had poison and such, and that made things tough. I think if it was just basic mobs without that, it probably would have been simpler
@@vaguedestruction I know a little about programing, if each of the variable's were called like that and had certain values attached to them the code might work.
@@vaguedestruction I know it's not named like that in the game I was just making an example, you can name a variable anything and it would work just fine.
It is true I don't know anything about Java (I use C++) but what about Bedrock? Maybe I was talking about that?

Erm actually there are 6 words in the title of this video.

I just LOVE all the technical designs they have for the Trial Chambers... like, they have secret rooms you can only see through grates and have to crawl into with trapdoors, they have dispensers that can have different things like water and lava in them, mechanisms that the Breeze can activate, pots that drop loot when broken, there's a room with powder snow as the floor, and there's even a room where the walls have a one-block gap so spiders can get through while still blocking your path!
The attention to detail is awesome!
The one block gap room works for babies and silverfish, too! I love how the rooms help make the fights more interesting than usual.
4:40 My guess is they're probably testing how easy it is to obtain keys to determine what they need to change in terms of frequency. Also it's best if they leave the chest, vault or whatever near the update's release, so that people have more time to theorize what the reward might be!
I love how Knardy brought full netherite even though the trial is made for players without items to start
I hope they keep the poison skeletons, Minecraft has needed a serious challenge for such a long time!

I think that the coolest thing about this update is the poison skeleton. They're actually a really unique mob because their arrows can heal undead mobs like zombies and skeletons themselves, due to the way that the poison effect works
That would be harming arrows you're thinking of. Poison doesn't affect undead mobs at all
I feel like the devs had a real fun time making the trial chambers, they're easily one of the most indepth and feature-diverse structures in minecraft
It was an absolute breeze being a part of this un-controlled chaos! Mojang have really outdone themselves with this update, surprised at how well the spawners scaled to account for everyone! 🙌
This actually looks like a great balance of fun and difficult.
This has the potential to be one of the best updates in years. Remember that this is probably only a third or even a fourth of the content that will be in the full update and the rest will release in 2024 snapshots
The amount of enemies and the enemy type the trial spawners spawn are controlled by nbt data, so you can set the base number of mobs spawned and the amount it increases per player to a very high number for chaos.
The trial chambers look dope! I suck at combat, so maybe this will be a good way for me to practice. The new blocks absolutely stunning. We need more light blocks, so I’m really happy that they’re adding the copper lights (or whatever they’re called).

This might be one of the best Minecraft updates yet!!! I’ve been wanting an update that adds more challenge based areas/dungeons for a while now, and the Trial Chambers are honestly everything that I could’ve ever hoped for!

since arrows can press buttons, you can use the breeze's weapons against him and activate the traps from a distance.
you can also reflect his projectiles.
wish it had more health, it's kinda boring to fight when it dies instantly

10:26 it was counting the players, and letting you and your friends all notice the spawner and get combat ready. Nice little feature that I'll never ever see because i have negative one friends.
I now want to know what that trail spam with wardens looks like. And I will be disappointed if it does not get into breaking Minecraft

I think a regular one would work better because unlike the trial spawner there’s no limit
I can see a lot of potential for a real dungeonesc wave build for this.
you can actually damage the breeze mob from long distance, you just need to shoot at the right time when they send out the projectiles towards you
Probably why there's such heavily guarded because they took so much copper to make the world must have been literally made out of copper because an average trial chamber takes Uber 4000 which is 12 double chests of copper ingots
Knarfy, I think the trials chambers are so difficult because of how stacked you are since systemzee did it with iron armour and it wasn’t nearly as difficult.

I went into the trial chambers with a iron sword gold armor and a dragon. 23 minutes later i died with full iron armor a dead dragon and a silk touch shovel
this feels like a mod and I always love when Mojang adds something like a mod (idk why XD)

At 9:09 you shot the wind charge wich hit the breeze so if the breeze fires a charge and you hit the charge it Will explode and maybe hit to breeze so the breeze kinda has the same projectile code as the shulker wich is cool.

I had that same bug with my ax when I went into a trial chamber the other day. It reappeared in my inventory exactly where it had been after like a minute or so. Either it happened, or i noticed it had, after I broke another pot. But yeah, my immediate reaction to the bug was the exact same as urs. Was planning on reporting it til it reappeared in my inventory. Then I forgot it happened n moved on lol

Interesting, funny, and cool vid.
Imagine doing a dungeon battle royal where you have 20-50 players and you fight in dungeon style combat until you have 1player left
I hope they do a resk8n for poispn skeletons
And also this is gonna introdue a new type of grinding

i think they once heard, that during the 1.20 update, they were adding Api's or whatever, so making new blocks, entities, structures, etc. would be easier to make. and now to think that in only 4-ish weeks. the entire update is practically done! also, in the last few updates they have been underselling. now they are over-selling! i see what they are doing now... sneaky Mojang, and i love it!
you always hear a company under-sell, but never over-selling nowadays. until now as it seems.
I can see why this is your favourite structure now.
all i know is that im probably going to end up repurposing these structures to live in/build
Plus they offer some decent loot and xp for early/mid if I want to avoid making an xp farm
But you'd probably have to get rid of the spawners if you want to live in there, and that takes ages
@@bred4eva I'd just keep most the spawners to farm from and clear out a living area if needed.
It also seemed like some areas were mostly clear too.
You might be able to convert them into farms
This game is slowly becoming a survival RPG like Grounded because now we got trial chambers
Challenge- beat the trail temple with only the loot you find
This was really fun though the wither spawners wherever you walked were a bit much
Host a farlands server wherein everyone either spawns at the Farlands, or even the Farther Lands, and just wait for chaos to ensue as someone just casually walks right past the 32-bit integer limit.

I had so much fun doing it and there was so much chaos
There seemed to be around 5-8 (I'm not sure) mobs when Knarfy played alone, which would mean 100 players would probably mean there are 500-800 mobs... (again, I'm not sure)
There’s so many that they’ll fight each other lol, so you could just stand yourself in a corner and hold your mending/unbreaking shield up
FINALLY PEOPLE CAN USE TRAIL KEYS INSTEAD OF TRIPWIRE HOOKS AS KEYS!!!

The only things that needs to change is probably like 10 extra health for the breeze and some bugs
also, chests will spawn with helpful loot and the breeze will have 15 hearts (30 hp)
I feel like mojang should make a boss room in the trial chamber that opens with the trial key and the boss gives a new item
