Most people don’t experience this. I think this is just a you problem. I’ve never met a pilot or a regular person who gets migraines from engine noises
Very cool content. 9,000ft isn't too short; think about when BA retired it's 744s - quite a few flew to St Athans (5,997 feet). They were petty much empty but still! Also, Luton has seen 747s operationally in the past with just 7,000 ft available.
Yes, QANTAS did a similar short field 5,900’ landing in 2015 on retirement of it’s first 747-400, VH-OJA, at Illawarra Airport. Interestingly, this aircraft when new performed a world record flight non-stop London to Sydney-on both these flights there was absolutely minimal payload.
Yes....Welcome to the Netherlands....Maastricht Airport....cool!!)) Pilots with charisma..well done!! I love this:)) Fantastic filming JP!!)) Thanks for posting....have a nice week;)) many greetings 🇾🇪💞✈👍🌟😘.....X Betsy.....
I got the fly Boston to Paris on a 747 that spent 45 minutes above 800 miles an hour and flew back from Paris to New York on an Airbus 380. Compared to the A380 the 747 is a hot rod whereas the Airbus is just a big old lumbering Gooney Bird. It's quieter got a 747 but not nearly as much fun to fly in. I couldn't believe the way the 747 climbed. 400 miles an hour at 10,000 feet. 500 miles an hour at 19000 ft, 600 by 28000. Those are numbers taken from flightradar24 speed and altitude graphs. If you've never been on one you should really find and excuse to fly on one. It's the most awesome passenger jet of all time.
That alarm sound or whatever it is made this unbearable to watch. Is that really an alarm or just interference? Can’t imagine flying with that going on
Very cool. We have not filmed a flight into MST since 1999 when we filmed a number of flights on KLM Exel to Amsterdam, London and Munich so its good to be back specially on a Boeing 747!
I saw no one reacted! He is the flight engineer, in older airplanes like this classic 747 they were responsible for most aircraft systems like hydraulics, monitoring of the engines, pressures, air conditioning and electrics so the pilots up front could focus on flying the aircraft and navigating. In newer aircraft you’ll see a combination computers taking over the flight engineers job and the pilots jobs getting easier. The next generation of 747s, the 400 and the -8, have more digitized cockpits and systems that are easier to use for the 2 pilots up front negating the need for a flight engineer.
5:47 Captain say one zero two nine seven thousand TWO hundred. Then First Officer says one zero two nine seven thousand ONE hundred...descending. Was that a mistake? What did they mean?
They just set the qnh on the altimeter and croschecked the altitude. Pressure for the altimeter is 1029 hpa and when the captain said it they were passing 7200 feet, then the fo verified and called his altimeter out and by that time they were passing 7100 feet. Not a mistake they are just crosschecking.

This is a rare bird now - apparently just 19 747-200s still flying.
Nice job CPT Koba 👍
Epic, thanks so much for the video!
This jump seat view is very immersive, please introduce this in all your next releases This is more enjoyable than the top down view of cockpit.
It's very smooth landing👍

My God... how yo work with this constant noise??
Yikes that audio tone makes it hard for headphone users
I've landed at Maastricht and i wouldn't call it short by any means, if anything its closer to a normal length runway lol
