Hey bud! Yes! I used PVC piping to mount the GoPro. The pipe is mounted on the the helmet using 2 GoPro helmet mounts that are zip tied and rubber cemented to the pipe. Its further stabilized by the counter weight, which is a box of old batteries. Thanks for the VX complement! Those little eggs are tough as nails! Ive seriously taken that car back and forth to the Sierras with 2 bikes and backpacking gear consistently. Ride safe!
Setup is good. At the time I needed a better counterweight. Hence, the reason I keep pulling my helmet up on the video. Can't really have it pointed towards my back. The counterweight would get in my field of vision. Great suggestion though. I'll work on trying to make it happen.
awesome angle, how did you build/mount this to your helmet? im assuming its just PVC, but what did you use to mount? AWESOME CIVIC VX too, I used to own a 92 :)
Pretty sick angle. You should run that angle going down Rambler.

I like it, what's the pole setup?

This is nice POV. What if you put the camera behind you and pointing it forward?

Good video. FYI, this is actually Upper Creek Trail and not Chaparral.
