I agree, however, they make a lot of money.If they rationalize their money well for years to come, they would probably never have to work again.But is unlikely since most people get used to a standard of living , and his hard to cut back.
This is why I love Cristine and Ben, instead of using the money they make on a expensive vacation (other than the one that Ben finally gets), they donate it to charities and pay peoples tuition. I also love how she hasn’t quite her day job and is always spreading the importance of education.

Cristine is honestly so smart. She’s been a really big influence on my life as well as my education. I actually applied to an Early College program in my state because of her, and I was accepted. Now I’ll have an AA degree when I graduate HS. She’s so smart and kind and if I could choose to be like any RUclips personality, it would be Cristine.

In watching her videos she is truly the most levelheaded, thoughtful, positively affirming person I’ve ever found on RUclips. The fact that she has millions of young viewers and promotes learning to the extent that she does in such a small way makes such a huge difference. I’m 21 years old and am currently going to school for a computer science degree and always thought that making videos was something I could fall back on, but the back to school video she made and her ability to rationally explain why RUclips wasn’t a good long term option made me excessively motivated to just have RUclips as a side gig and a real job as my main source of income (what a concept!!!)
In addition to this, she positively supports females in such a wonderful way that makes girls feel like they _do_ deserve more and they _are_ important. In working in a technological realm, I have run into so many sexist encounters and to have a strong, successful female standing up for women and women’s rights is so endearing and makes me want to be a stronger voice, as well, so that women don’t have to keep putting up with these issues.
My final point is the amount of care that she has for people. The fact that she gives so much of her money away to people who are hurting or in need of it, or pays for people’s tuitions makes her the best role model on this platform. She also sometimes silently speaks about the money she gives away and this video, although she gave all of her Adsense revenue away to those who were hurting from the tornado, in no way made it seem like she was seeking the approval of others or letting people know she’s just a good person- you had to look in the description to find this.
Cristine has the absolute best heart and is the most caring, wonderful, strong person I’ve found on this platform. I’m so proud of her and all the things she does for young women and education and if you are reading this and none of these points were relatable to you, at least check out her thesis for her Master of Arts degree about self injury in CSC’s- _It’s ridiculous_

Can you do a Q&A or just a regular video talking about your job? What does a crime statistics analyst do? What kind of schooling did you have to do to get there? What kind of money do you make (ball park, I don't need to see the taxes or anything lol).
I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with my life and I've been interested in crime/forensics for a long time so CSA seems like a really good, stable job with a decent amount if down time if you can do that and RUclips. So I'd really love it if you talked about it more!

I don't know if it would help, but I'm currently in my second year of studying criminology at the University of Montreal and am planning to do a master's degree after getting my bachelor's to pursue the exact same career path as Cristine.
I suppose she did the same, but at the University of Ottawa since they also offer a criminology degree (In Canada, only three universities do: The University of Montreal, the University of Laval and The University of Ottawa... At least, those are the only three that I know of)
I don't know where you are from, but in Canada, to be able to work for the federal government with a criminology degree, you absolutely need to have a master's degree. I'm still not sure about the "money part", considering the fact that job opportunities vary a lot and depend also on your experience and such, so for that I can't help very much, but if you consider being a crime statistics analyst or even studying forensics, which is a totally different branch of criminology that would lead you to probably work with the police force, consider a criminology degree.
By the way, about the forensics part, the University of Montreal offers a crazy master's degree option that allows student to do an exchange with the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, a university that is very known for it's school of forensics!

They honestly don't though, we get the weak, tail end of hurricanes sometimes, but never this bad. The last time we had a storm this bad was probably the ice storm of '98.
West coast Canada can have earthquakes and tsunamis and we can get pretty bad weather here so not all of Canada is like Ottawa 😅

I really appreciate your honesty in talking about your finances and your jobs. Even though you’re making more on RUclips than you are your job with the government, you continue to emphasize the importance of having that financial stability as well as an education.
Of course I am sure there are RUclipsrs who have enough now to retire comfortably, there is no guarantee that if RUclips disappeared overnight, that they would be able to handle that loss of (frankly) monumental income. There’s an importance to respecting money as a tool, and being able to support yourself not just now, but years into the future.
Samantha R has also recently talked about how even though she makes a lot of money, she doesn’t feel as though her job as an influencer fulfills her. Thank you for being real about it. Money is wonderful and of course anyone would love to have lots, but it’s also not everything. I’ve been spending time trying to come to terms with this. As a pretty broke uni student, the idea that more money can solve my problems is very tempting, though I know it’s not true.

(I agree with you 100% just saying) and no money isn't everything of course but if I was able to choose between just say 10 million dollars or say eternal life, I just may take the money. Just because ok I can live forever.... after watching my kids and husband die and everyone around me and it may take a while to get rich when my family is just getting older for them.
We are considered poor. Almost homeless a few times, poor. We wonder where our next meal comes from on a daily basis. We don't have family either. My parents are addicts and my husband only has his mother who is disabled. Every little step forward we take, I'm pushed so far back it's ridiculous. I broke down crying one time thinking we were cursed. I'd give damn near anhthing to have even just 500 grand right about now. I'd invest like crazy (my husband is very good with numbers) and buy myself a good house and maybe 2 good cars with the rest. I would NOT blow it. And then make sure my REAL family is taken care of and my community with whatever I can. I'd give back. I'd help anyone who really needs it like Christine and her boyfriend.
I wish I could give my kids the life they deserve but even as college graduates who cannot afford to move and not able to get ahead even a little to make our lives better, we just can't. We were sucked into this shit hole town/state that I swear keeps you poor, and can't do anything about it. And with no family, we have zero help if we tried to move.
Now of course we can if we really tried, but 1 I have a son with my ex, he won't let him go. Which is fine, my ex was my first everything we married on our 5yr anniversary and ended up growing apart. He's a great father. And 2 the ONE person we do have, my mother in law, I can't leave her. So I'm stuck. We have the lowest minimum wage and absolutely no opportunities where I live therefor everyone is poor as dirt here.
Anyway sorry to make this so long, but just had to say that. I'm not creative enough or have the energy to start a RUclips channel and make millions, and our luck we'd fail.
I literally sell everything I own to make ends meet also. I'd die for a income like a RUclipsr has. Gosh. I don't even have a running vehicle right now with 3 kids (twin 4yo girls and 7yo son) life sucks for us 98% of the time. I can only dream of being financially stable.

The statistics show that money buys happiness right up to about 75k a year, then it only buys cooler toys. When you aren't financially stable, money can really help, but once you are, having a lot more money doesn't do anything. As for you personally, try finding a remote job. There are a lot of jobs which are not location bound, where you can work remotely. Look up jobs like that, and then try to learn the skills which would make you hireable in one of those jobs. My brother did this with programming, and now he is making over 75K a year. And he learned it all for free on the internet, it just took time and dedication.
