My dog might possibly be diagnosed with IVDD, which is a degenerative disk disease which affects the spinal cord and nerves, which can lead to paralysis in the hind legs. Diagnosis and treatment is expensive and strenuous on dogs and recovery can take months, but it can be treated. I love my dog with all of my heart and discovering this has physically and emotionally drained me. I never even imagined I could cry this many tears. It's only been a few days since discovering this and I can't keep food down, my energy is gone, and all I can think about is him and making him comfortable. Watching your videos has brought a smile to my face in a time I didn't think that was possible, and of course writing this made me cry once again, but I just want to thank you for doing what you do because you help people in a lot of different ways. So thank you very much.
Virginia martinez He did in fact have this spinal disease, he had surgery and had to recover over a few months, but he is mostly back to his old self. His footing isn't as strong as it used to be and he has some nerve damage that makes him sensitive to touch in certain spots, but he is alright and living the best life he can and that's all i could hope for!
