Volvo Trucks - Denmark's Little Mermaid goes to Shanghai with a Volvo FH16

On March 26, Denmark's national icon, a statue of The Little Mermaid, was released from the rock on which she has reclined for almost a hundred years. Right now she is on view at the Danish pavilion in the Shanghai World Expo. The task of transporting what is probably Denmark's most photographed woman was awarded to haulage firm Karl Thygesen & Søn and its Volvo FH16.
