  • Even with the best modern comforts, the road from Harbin, capital of China's northern Heilongjiang province, to the storied city of Lhasa in Tibet, is a hard one.
One of only a few firms in China that can handle such long hauls, Harbin Xingrui Transportation inaugurated its 4500-kilometre Harbin-Lhasa cold-chain delivery route with a Volvo Ocean Race limited edition FH16 660.

This is not a long trip comparing to the Sundbye transport from Norway who drove regular transport from Norway to Bandar Abbas in Iran with spareparts to the Norwegian ships.

Ever wonder why the Chinese use Volvo? It’s simple, they’re owned by Geely, a Chinese corporation

95% of trucks sold in China are chinese brands. Faw, Shacman, Howo cnhtc, foton, dongfeng, hongyan... etc. Unfortunately unlike these chinese brands we see no huge overloading of volvo or other impressive stuff on video
