Why didn’t you show us the front seat power adjustments? I understand the Calligraphy hybrid units are the ONLY trim that gets the “Relaxation” seats for both driver and passenger. It would have been nice to show us how they function!
The biggest issue with the calligraphy are the seats, the front seats have a pointless stupid leg extender that no human over 4ft tall could ever use, and the hinge is hard so you feel it through the seat bottom and it causes your legs to go numb, i bought a limited hybrid, it's been a love hate relationship.. i love the car, but hate the electronics. See, they work fine, but bluelink reports your driving to lexisnexis and they report your driving to the insurance companies. So basically the car spies on everything you do, and the only way to disable it is to physically pull the fin antenna cover and disconnect the verizon modem.
They all do, and that’s why you see a reluctance of people who know refusing to use their fingerprint ID to start the car. One more bit of info to be put out there for sale. Most driving apps like Waze and Google sale your driving habits too. I used to have to pay to subscribe to BlueLink, when I heard that currently it’s free I knew I’d be the product they make the money off of.
@@mark8684 Can't opt out.. They record the driving data off the data link. They can interact with the vehicle no matter if blulink is enabled or not.. the only way to kill the connection is to snip the modem wiring under the shark fin.. Edit: You can opt out via bluelink, but that doesn't stop the bi directional modem communication. Opting out of bluelink removes your name from the vehicle, so when you opt out they only report the vin number and not your name, but dmv records are public info, so running a vin still links to an owner.. thus no real way to opt out.
The only thing I didn't like about this SUV is the ugly lines, everything 90 degrees from front to tail. If they would've come up with a sportier design it will be a major sales hit
Not hybrid calligraphy version here in Canada 🇨🇦 yet…. 😢

@@scorpioM56 There's a class action lawsuit against GM onstar for the same thing.. All these new connected cars report your driving data..

If you don’t want your data shared, then Opt Out and don’t use Bluelink. Of course, you will lose some of the Bluelink functions. It’s a trade-off.

Is it gas hybrid or diesel hybrid engine?
Does the transmission still break?
The trans recall did not impact the hybrid units which have a 6-spd trans. The recall was only on the DCT trans units.

That Hyundai looks great, but this silly AppleCarPlay looks so childish, outdated and ugly I just can't watch this anymore.
