My dealer implied that that I couldn’t build a car like you could in the past, but they could place a request in and wait to see if Hyundai would honor it. I wanted an awd hybrid calligraphy in green/beige but they are hard to find within 300 miles.
@@stephen1991 Pebble Blue exterior colour is available in my locale. I realize I may have to wait some time for the car to be built, but this will be the vehicle I really want.
@@squeezy99I don’t know what my dealer is doing, not wanting to place an order for the precise model/trim I want. They don’t have a lot of hybrid models and the salesman kind of downplayed them, saying nobody is asking for them. I’m currently working with two dealerships 350 miles away because of his reluctance.
@@stephen1991 don’t blame you.. I think the sales person is full of BS about hybrid not being the popular. They know they will be stuck with the plug ins… what’s the point of 35 miles of electric? You just end up carrying a load of extra weight and £5000 more for a plug in! I have a hybrid you will not be disappointed..
Car looks amazing. Are there any optional extras available from the manufacturer ? - Rear headrest screen for kids - Dash cam, front / rear / internal - Roof mounted flip down TV If these are available would make the car even better.
I was thinking the same thing- baffling. The Calligraphy model is horrible - the shiny black plastic in the outside and pitch black interior. They keep pushing reviews and demo models in the Calligraphy spec which must out a lot of people off it - it’s just too much. A nice Ultimate spec in a colour that doesn’t scream ‘narcissist’ and it looks good.
Love the look of this car, I will be test driving one this Saturday, could be an expensive day!😂😂 Really doesn’t need all the lane changing rubbish and HUD. I hate all the safety features on new cars. I am hoping I can turn them all off when I get in the car as I do on my Lexus. Hybrid all the way… Pointless plug in which people will not use. Good to see they didn’t waste money bring out electric only.. I wouldn’t be interested.. Electric is not the way forward! Great review, Thank you thumbs up from me..
I'm ordering one in blue, AWD, hybrid, Calligraphy trim

No, they don't offer any tech packs like that from the manufacturer, although I'm sure an aftermarket installer could sort you right out.
Would you say 4wd is worth it over 2wd for mostly normal tarmac driving?
Probably not. Unless you're planning on driving into a muddy festival field sometime?
@@Gogo-i7s I have the 2 wheel drive version. It drive great. Just don’t go in a muddy field!🤣
Can someone tell me why you can only get the sunroofs on the Hybrid and not the plug in Hybrid. And only black interior on the Calligraphy.

Trust me stay away the cost to repair that would break your bank account, for reference a 2015 santa fe electric brake module 4k, I kid you not 😮
