i feel like i got over my anxiety by getting over myself, in the sense of “im not likely to be super terrible at things and even if i am itll probably be fine?” and really internalizing it kinda just muted my imposter syndrome

As a woman studying physics it's shocking how much more likely women are than men to suffer from imposter syndrome in the natural sciences. Working in academia is definitely a big risk factor as well
