@@haitianmusic4783 my level was beginning algebra. Kind of what I expected. But I'm going to retake the test next week. So this very moment ( 6.30 am) I'm studying to prepare myself 😊

34 and 1 kid and Ive almost finished my degree except for math and science because I can't pass the math section but I am about to try again

I took a 6 year break from school, and I have to placement test for the Bachelor program.. I reaaaally don't want to start at a low level math again, but I also don't want to fail if I barely get into the upper level class that's required. What a conundrum!
After 4 years in the army,i get freee school but i dont wanna mess it up,so i have to take these placement tests

Thanks. I'm finishing up an accounting degree at a university but I have been interested for some time in more math related fields. I have been trying to polish my math fundamentals but I couldn't figure out the topics I should learn. This is a huge help.

Akif Yorulmaz it turns out the test I was taking wasn’t the accuplacer, they pulled the rug from under me at kind of the last minute. I don’t know anything, I’m sorry :(
You can retake the test as many times as needed.

It’s going to be fun. I’m in my 30s changing careers and getting ready to take the placement tests to pursue my first 4-year degree in an engineering field. I was very good at math in high school, and I was in advanced level math (took calculus my senior year). But the last time I used skills past the pre-algebra level were 16-17 years ago, and I’ve lost most of them since then. The good news is the base knowledge has turned out to be very valuable and I’ve been able to re-learn these things pretty quickly in the last few days I’ve been brushing up on it.

Honestly the test is more advance that what will appear in the SAT. However, it's not that difficult and its easy to get 278-300 range

I live in New Jersey do they give this level of testing for high school seniors, or is this only for college students, and/or if you want to take it or not?

Wasn't told I needed to take it until 2 weeks before classes start and I haven't taken a math class in 5 years due to gap year and my previous degree allowing me to take a gen math credit bc of HS classes , I don't remember any math and have no study / prep time , I take it tomorrow , found out yesterday

if you have an act score you don’t need to take an accuplacer test just get your old school to send the scores over
@@nid2920 I didn't take my acts but my college still requested that I take a math and English placement exams but that's on me Bec I never was the strongest in math and didn't put my best work towards my English classes
