Im from Florida and I really want to get into Legend car racing. I already found a track like 4 hours from me so can I literally just show up with equipment and rent a Legend car and just race? Do you not need a competition license? I’ve never done any form of racing in my life. Most I can do is drive stick shift.
Also im 20 years old if that makes a difference
Hey, to get started, you will have to purchase an INEX membership. INEX is the sanctioning body of US Legend Cars International. Based on your age, you will be in the Semi-pro division. I believe you can rent a car to try or to race. You may have to provide your own safety equipment. If you're looking for a rental, I would get in touch with the local Legends Cars dealer.

Hey Casey , It totally depends on what you're looking for. Many local tracks run weekly shows. However you do not have to run every week. Also one of the best things about legend cars is because tracks across the World and North America run the INEX rule package you can race at any track you want when they hold an event. Many teams offer rental cars as well. Hope this helps you out. Feel free to ask me any Questions you might have.

Question do legends ever run road courses?
Sure do! The closest track running Inex points is New Hampshire Speedway. 7 or so hour drive for us.

@@MattHaufe Thanks for the links. Would be nice to see them run at Mosport although I think the road course is pretty long for legends. The track is quite close to me. I have seen the odd Legend car on trailers now and then.
With the new motor package, we could definitely run there. The limiting factor would be fuel. I have raced karts on the development track and karting track there. Shannonville would be another cool spot to run. I hope to get the car on

Hey what part of the world are you located? There are a few Facebook pages for used cars other wise you can contact US Legend Cars International. They will sell you a car or point you to a local dealer.
