Try and convince the German government to let that one slide. A semi-auto MP7 demo sample ended up in a private citizen's hands in Canada and that alone stirred up a storm.
Very cool. However I do not understand what you mean about them being priced competitively. I got my MKE Z5RS from a local gun shop for $1902.41 AFTER TAX. Meaning that the HK SP5 is well over $500 more expensive.
I've seen the PTR 9CT available for as cheap as $1600...and it came with the SB side folding brace. So that's well over $1k less and you're getting more...but the HK will be better built and more reliable
Forgotten Weapons went over the SP5 as well and noted that it's based on the MP5F (French) which had strengthened internals specifically for +P ammo. The Turkish and other copies aren't going to have those updates for what it's worth.
I know dealer pricing and they can sell these for $2100 or even less. Some HK dealers were listing them at $2100 at first but come release and because of the demand they raised their prices significantly. Also, Zenith guns are practically gone. They can't get them out of Turkey anymore. The prices dropped on them because they weren't selling. At Copper we sat on Zenith guns forever before they sold. At first, the Zenith guns were well over $2k but the price settled as the market reached saturation for a gun priced that high.
@Evocati I've seen some issues with quality control when it came to the MKE ones before, warped magwell and receiver that someone posted on Reddit. Still light-years better than PTR, but I feel like HK would have this down by now and all QC issues should be gone.

It's absolutely amazing to me that gun people can be so cheap. This a a novelty item and priced accordingly. This was meant for collectors and enthusiast and people who simply want to flex at the range ( you know...the person who owns an HK23 and a SCAR 17 with a couple trick 1911s). I think it's priced well at 2800.
HK: When you need to spend twice as much money to do the same job. Think I'll stick with my scorpion evo and use the money I saved to buy a couple more guns. Or a car.
The Ride Never ends your comment is valid however, the original comment was about doing the same job for twice the money. So, I don’t get your point by posting your comment here.
The Ride Never ends. It’s all subjective. And it’s comes down to what people want to spend their money on. For me any many others, it’s over price period. That may not be the case for you. And I don’t mean over price as in, I can’t afford it. I mean it’s not worth the money they are asking (to me anyway). My next expensive platform will be a B&T. I have said it here and in other forums. If you need roller delayed on a 9mm to get the “job” done because the recoil hurts, then I don’t know what to tell you man except spend that money.
The curve has the only function of following the natural curve of the 9mm round. In a straight magazine, the rounds want to stack and curve, and 30 rounds will cause a decent amount of misalignment of the bottom rounds - and which can cause binding that the spring cannot overcome. IF the mag lips are malformed, there will be an incorrect angle in relation to the bolt, causing misfeeds. This applies to straight and curved versions.
I hate how people are talking about the new SP5. Like "Thank you my lord!! You are merciful!!!" People forget that it's because of an infringement on our rights that the SP5 exists in the first place. "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED"
True. However, I'm not going to not be happy to have the gun back on the market? What, are you doing, not buying any guns anymore until the NFA is repealed?
@@Militaryarmschannel To be fair, gun enthusiasts complacency has played a fair bit in us being where we are today. Not saying you're wrong, but our desire for freedom shouldn't take a back seat to being excited for a new product. Demand compromise, common sense repeals of infringements need to be at the forefront of our minds above all else.
@@Militaryarmschannel No that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying to just not forget it and continue to fight for our rights, and not just accept or "settle" for what we have now. Because that's how they restrict our rights more and more - they wait until we forget or accept it, then they add more laws and restrictions. If it goes on, we'll end up with no firearms at all.

Pcc ammo probably uses slower burning powder considering pcc's usually have a longer barrel which would benefit from a slower burning powder. This having a relatively short barrel, is ejecting while said powder is still burning. Just a guess but it makes sense.

Issued mp5 as first smg years ago, loved it. However, can't see the justification of $2k semiautomatic 9mm in this size when you have options like the scorpion evo.
Guys don’t worry, these are not even close to limited production, HK is ramping up to compete in this MP5 market... thousands in production! From what I understand the Ks will be in smaller batches like 500 at a time. Prices will come down from the 3K plus on GB your seeing so I wouldn’t rush to get one.
That's true, but this type of product is not marketed for people who are ambivalent about what type of PCC they want. These are meant specifically for people who have always wanted an MP5 in particular and never had the chance to own one. If you don't particularly care for the MP5 platform or don't really make a distinction between, say, an MP5, UMP, CZ Scorpion, then yeah, an AR platform pistol is fine. The MP5 is a unique item that attracts a niche market.
If HK really wanted to dominate the market and be truly competitive, these would retail $1500 MSRP. That said, HK is like an expensive escort girl: comes expensive or not at all

@@justinroberts1290 That would be my dream gun. HK is probably still pissed that 5.7x28 is better than 4.6x30 so I doubt it will ever happen
Just bought one today because I finally found one that wasn't price gouged and they fixed the rear site problem...

Still light-years better than PTR, but I feel like HK would have this down by now and all QC issues should be gone.
hey i was just speaking with Håkan Spuhr this morning about some of their new HK accessories .. I know you are a huge MP5 Fan as i am as well. I would really love to see you guys do some videos of their products on the new SP5 please. they have Mounts, Rails , Stocks.
It's a good thing I just got offered a high paying job so i can finally afford one in the near future. Well that is if my home of Virginia doesn't crumble first...
HECKLER & KOCH- Precision, Perfection, HK Guns!

I was hoping he would bump fire it, then I realized he would probably get banned by you tube.

BoogalooBoy1776 ima poor... I’m gonna wait on the psa. And my psa 15 didn’t mind beating up on those rich folks carbines at the noveske carbine matches.
Or a car.
Yeah, why buy a Bentley when a Chrysler will get you there?
Joe Jalbert The answer is: So that you can buy a house to have a garage for your car with the left over money.
Time to introduce the pcc market to the gauntlet!!!!
Buy as many as you can.
Hunting season is soon to begin.
Ptr9c is $1700 it's dam good quality, comes with the threaded barrel & tri lugs. Included is the side folding or collapsible brace.
No thanks. I'll stick with B&T. Should've given us what we wanted when we asked for it.
@@utubesgai It absolutely has. Most won't lift a finger to fight for their rights. That's depressing. I try as best as I can to motivate people...
@@Mrgone454 Mass shootings aren't caused by guns, just like how DUI car accidents aren't caused by cars.

@@Genesis23OPB Well, you can buy a full-auto MP5 as well, although they aren't cheap. Not a new one, HK will not (cannot?) sell them to you and me.
Get a hunters license. They can have the fun stuff for some reason. Also, 2 handguns and unlimited rifles/shotguns + no pre approving(just the handguns)
Joerg sprave has an mp5
As far as Ptr goes they are not over 2000 , I got my Ptr9kt (Mp5k) for about 2000 with the brace. It was about 1800. It has the regular mp5k muzzle verse the HK version. Also has the paddle release.
Genius disassembly. Amazing weapon. Unfortunately Ill have to wait for the sub $1k version.
did anyone else see the flames coming out of the ejection port when using the PCC ammo
Thought that wasn't supposed to happen with delayed blowback
Pcc ammo probably uses slower burning powder considering pcc's usually have a longer barrel which would benefit from a slower burning powder. This having a relatively short barrel, is ejecting while said powder is still burning. Just a guess but it makes sense.
Perfect for air vent climbing.
ptr is selling theirs for $1600-1800 now

Come on MAC where's my bump fire at ? Lol
Hey MAC, can you get your hands on and do a video on the new MAC 5 and MAC 5K pistols imported by SDS Imports.
But will it binary?
That is the question...
Franklin makes one. No idea if it's compatible.
Yeah, i used it in my sp5k, worked in a g3 as well, universal trigger pack for all hk roller locks
Good to know, I'm thinking about getting one. I have the zenith z5rs with the binary trigger. I was just wondering if I get this one it would work.
@@lancekilkenny721 Fuck Franklin Armory. They design stupid products and then censor firearm media outlets who call them out on said products. When they banned InRangeTV from interviewing them at their SHOT booth, I lost 100% of my respect/trust for them. 👎

Apple is an American company manufacturing in China and selling you stuff for German prices.
HK is the Colt of Germany.
Hey Mr. Mac. Is it possible to press the flapper magazine ejector with your right hand trigger finger . Having to pull the magazines out with your left hand before taking your mag out of your pocket seems slow
Waiting for PSA to release their version.
By the time they do and work out the kinks from the initial batches, you could have saved up for one of these. Js.
I've been waiting for 3 weeks for some magazines that were "in stock". PSA does some good stuff, but they're still typical southern slugs at times...
New info says they're no longer going to be around $800. Looking at $1200ish now.
@@dirtdiver9668 I'd definitely get a Zenith at that price

For $2799 I could buy an entire arsenal with ammunition. I'm good I'll stick with my budget guns.
SUPERB REVIEW BRAVO, HK IS A BEAUTIFUL WEAPON
I’ve seen Zeniths for as low as $1100. It’s gonna be hard for me to justify spending almost 3k ok the same thing with HKs logo slapped on it.
buy an ATI pistol in 5.56 for $320... save over $2k!
More than just a difference in logo. You'll never have to clean an Hk. Ask my mark 23.
It’s cool, but for that price you can built the ultimate AR pistol, with echo trigger and a suppressor.
And 1500 rounds
Robert Mcgee so what
Tim every time you say "Flapper" God kills a kitten!
If HK really wanted to dominate the market and be truly competitive, these would retail $1500 MSRP.
That said, HK is like an expensive escort girl: comes expensive or not at all
I know a guy who bought the SP89 and changed out the barrel and added the flapper release
