My mum used to do cover songs in clubs in the uk she was a star ⭐️ in her younger days she met my father he was a guitar player in the band so I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for cover songs haha 😂 keep up the good work

Im 62 and grew up listening to this son playing constantly, and it always rocked me whenever it played imo biggest hit ever of any sony ever made, freda payne realy deserves to be the richest female artist of all time, this was her baby and she made the world happy and still does, wow what an acievment

I spent my complete year of 1970 in VietNam when this song came out. I was not married and actually did not even have a girlfriend back in the World but I had a big time crush on Freda Payne and listened to this song countless times.

I have loved your voice since the first cover I heard but today, deeper respect after learning of what you have overcome! I passed your story and a link to a young friend. She is the daughter of my late classmate and is also named Sarah. Sarah Nevins has performed professionally in Des Moines,Iowa bands for a number of years but that was stopped to undergo brain surgery three years ago. This beautiful young person is recovered and back on stage, sharing her talents! Her father and I grew up together listening to many of the older tunes you choose to cover!
