Pretty soon we're going to have people doing covers for Sarah Collins covers. :-) This was one of my favorite songs when it came out in 1967. The sixties were a golden age of music. I think I'm still living there.

I just love Sarah Collins and the band singing Sarah is like my daughter I never had, but her dad and mom loved the music! So do I, and that is why I love Sarah Collins so much as she sings! We are all family from across the pond!

Sarah, I discovered you the night Leslie Gore passed away when in searching for Maybe I Know, I found your version. And today, when doing some research on the history of Everlasting Love, I found this. Simply stunning.
I'm sure that you know that Everlasting Love has charted in the 1960s (Robert Knight, Love Affair), 1970s (Carl Carlton), 1980s (Rex Smith/Rachel Sweet), 1990s (Sandra, Gloria Estefan) and 2000s (Jamie Cullum).
You need to chart it in this decade. With your voice I can easily imagine you doing this live, with a real band with a top tier horn section. I'd just like to be one of your backup singers.
I don't need to tell you that this is one of my favorite songs; I have more than 30 different versions and your is one of my favorite renditions. I can't wait to extract the audio into an MP3 and listen to it in my car.
If you haven't seen this clip, you should. It's Carl Carlton doing it live for a PBS special in 2002. Such a wonderful and timeless song, you did it justice. Go Girl!
