- I made this video lesson for my friend Ronald Cid. Ron asked about playing blues in A. It goes by kinda quick but feel free to watch it a lot to pick up the nuances. There is a PDF available at timlerch.com/lessons.html just make a small donation and I’ll send you the link. Thanks enjoy.

One of the few Tim Lerch videos that I can sort of follow through. Makes my day.
Always loved that guitar, absolutely!
Awesome playing
Thank you, i like blues style 🙏🙏
Outstanding ‼️
Tim makes chords that I play sound so much more full and smooth than whenever I play them. He knows his instrument well!
Amazing, Tim. So many insights! Thanks!

Thank you Tim! love this kind of lesson. Very practical. I would love more of the same. Substitutions, 5 1 chord fills. Love your stile and teaching. Thank you again
How beautiful your playing is!
Love this lesson. Thanks, Tim! -Rick in Sarasota
Absolutely fantastic content and playing Tim, as always. Please do more exactly like this. Maybe even some tips/lessons on playing those single lines with fingers only. Thanks for all the great music and lessons.
Hey Tim thanks a lot for this I’m gona be binging the hell out of these videos I know they’ll do me good for uni auditions in September you’re amazing and a master of music
This is a great lesson. Exactly what I need. I like playing Jazz blues in A and I need help for walking bass and stuff like that. Thanks!
Tim, thank you for this song...I (am a student and) hear and hear and play it on my way...my brain and my fingers are not parallel at the moment...💥🎸🎼✌️
Love it. 12 bar blues all spruced up. I can dig it. Thanks.
Lovely sound and so crisp. Really inspiring as well. Just to able to take out melodies by ear or improvise are heaven. English is not my native language. Once again great playing and that´s what the world needs now.
Thank you so much for this wonderful lesson
So So Good !, The vid I've been searching for, for years
What an amazing and honest lesson. Thank you so much.
Maybe some lessons on Blues “soloing” ideas to go on top or in between chords or landing on the next chord?
Beautiful playing Tim.
What a great lesson! Thank you so much.
Outstanding Tim! I don't know if Ron enjoyed it but I sure did! Stay dry up there! I didn't get to come to Seattle as I was hoping... maybe next spring... We'll see, Thx Tim... Best Always, jp

Great lesson man
Jazzy guitar sounds best all by itself.
Thanks, very usefull lesson
thx so much for giving us this in the key of A :-)
this is yoga for my hands!
A good lesson for we mere mortals.
Lovely blues! Guitar tone sounds great - can I ask the guitar model, amp, and string gauge? Nice demonstration.
One day I'll buy lessons from you. I have a backlog of truefire courses I gotta get through first.
I just want to be able to play simple blues stuff you're playing 5 seconds in. I know the scales and chords but I'm dying for it to click so I can fluidly create melodic flowing music like that.
great stuff
Hi Eric, hope you are doing well.
9:15-9:30 Summed it up perfectly! 😂😊🎵
Nice walking talking blues...! B-)
Cool. I didn't get almost anything
My grandson pressed the thumbs down - whoops! We both love the lesson and want take it back!
Press the like thumbs up button and the thumbs down will change to a thumbs up. How anyone can give this a thumbs down on purpose it beyond me...so many great licks. :)
